Earth

Among the Stars

When you walk among the stars

You cannot see the earth below

All its beauty, lost forever

Unseen, unheard amid the glow

You have to step outside yourself

Look around, breathe your first

There's so much more to be had

If you come down to the earth

When you walk among the stars

The glare is bright enough to blind

And you'll miss the wonders of the world

If you're stuck admiring your sky.

Dream Waltz

.....

They dance.

She twirls, as he caresses.

He caudles her efflorescence

and

sets the tone,

embodies and balances with

scales of mystery and secrets unknown.

She flourishes in this heaven

of ageless suspension

and bubbles from her innermost depths to

secrete with agape

the sustenance that nourishes her very

existence,

and all

borne through her

exquisite yet deeply penetrating

enchantment.

Ninety five times her size,

a faint ring of the sickle,

his spiraling girth grazes

her pale blue essence

and Moon

as she succumbs to honor

her rightful place within the

gentle folds of aethereal frolic

and

cosmic majesty

 The Earth from Saturn

(The Earth and her moon as seen from Saturn)

Celestial breath

 to be mimicked

in every dimension

through inexplicable

phases and stages,

raptures, junctures,

combustions,

and culminations

of astral storms.

Pulsating in unison

to the

rhythm of all that is,

and all that was,

and what will be.

*

*

 The thunderous,

clamoring

enigma

of

silence

heard only among

the timelessness

that man can

but only dream

to touch.

*

That which he may have no

knowledge

of,

but can only

live

for the

dance.

ball of confusion

...............

people become highly indignant,

even declare war upon nations,

to murder millions in the name of a god

that is the center of their 'religion',

but answer this: if your 'religion'

is a 'business', then why do you

call it a 'religion'? and if your war

is costing your nation millions

of dollars to take the lives of

millions of people, then who are

you really fighting, your religion,

or your government? and who is

fighting who?

Too Bad

I speak my mind.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I bear you my soul.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I believe that all beings and

life forms are all the same,

and different,

at the same time,

and that we are slowly losing

our connection to this concept

as a species, and it is destroying us.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I believe there is a sanctity

that lies within each individual,

every animal,

every life form.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

Don't like my

style of self-expression?

My authenticity?

My 'attitude'?

My disgust with closed-minded people?

My honesty?

My truth?

It's just plain too bad.

I love yours, and I hope

one day we can meet halfway.

Baby in Universe Photographic Print

Baby in Universe  ^^^^^^^^^^^^^^^

By: Panoramic Images

.....................

The universe holds me,
Gently in it's arms,
Lovingly, with the grace of angels,
Stardust sprinkled upon my tired brow.

The universe holds me.

The universe warms me,
Kindly, with it's luster,
Blankets of billowing clouds,
And whispering winds that feel cool
Upon my heated beads of sweat
Sustained through growing pains
And open wounds.

The universe holds me.

The universe morphs my human frailties
Tenderly, like swirling colors of the rainbows
That shine their golden mist upon the greenest hillsides,
Donning light upon the flowers on its rolling breasts,
Transforming solid ground
To birth the dreams of cherubs' quests.

The universe holds me.

The universe holds me,
In darkest night,
When life has left and all is withered,
Dreams, once shining stars of fire
Now turned to ash by life's demands,
I wake to find the universe,
So devotedly, tucked safely in my hands.

Perfect Sense

I think hate comes from ignorance,
They say ignorance is bliss,
But I think ignorance comes from a lack of joy,
And anger turned inwards onto the self.
Joy comes from connection to the Divine spark
In all living things, so it would make perfect
Sense that there is so much depression,
Anger and ignorance in the world,
Because it is clear we have somehow
Lost respect for all living things as a species.

Sorrow can come from a lot of different
Conscious and subconscious places, I think,
But if we are neglecting our source of joy,
Then it would make perfect sense that
We would feel a deep sorrow as we watch
The world as it falls apart, and know,
Deep within us, why it is happening,
Even if we wear a mask to hide it.
When i say 'joy' I do not mean simply
A smile or a fleeting thrill from a gift given,
When I say 'joy' I mean a lasting flame of inner peace
And contentment that carries us past any
And all upsets and conflicts we run into.

I do not know of any children who are taught
These things. Are they important to anyone anymore
In our busy lives where there is so much
That is more important than ridding the earth of hate?
I am only one person, but I just do not agree that
Ignorance is bliss. Years ago I may have said yes,
Because years ago I did not know what bliss was,
But now being familiar with bliss, having experienced
Deep depression, having learned the ways I have fallen
Into ignorance and anger turned outward ,
I am more sure than ever about these things
As far as myself goes, anyway.

Saying 'ignorance is bliss' may just be someone's way
Of saying 'I'm too depressed and angry to care',

And, 'I don't want to admit it because it's just easier

To be in denial about the whole big mess'.

Sound right to you?

Have a great day.

For As Long

For as the days and weeks pass, and the years and aeons
Follow their destiny into the universe, traveling the planets,
There will be a growing number who call on Jupiter, Mars,
The voiceless sparks of light, and love, in the stars,

For as long as we relentlessly continue
To trade insight and inspiration for revenge,
Hiding behind the suffering of Jesus, crucified,
Still, to this day, adamant refusal, to remove him from the cross,

Using his life to excuse our misgivings,
Ignoring those here, to maintain our style of living,
Injecting his pain into each child on Earth,
Negating the Divine, and worse....negating every child's worth,

For as long as we blindly submit to the past,
We neglect what is here, stones repeatedly cast,
Spitting on the dream of unity, and more,
We will always be wondering why we can't even the score,

For as long as we stay boldly and stubbornly sure,
Humanity's true potential will be lost into the wars...

....life is so much more.

This poem is about the ever growing ignorance toward our connection to Divine Intelligence and compasssion and insight lived out as virtues, and not just words.

Humble Rapture

Standing on this mountaintop, vision soaring, n'er to drop,
Riding winds that stir the coo of cherubs,
Underneath the dessication laden from winter's wrath,
On earthen beds between land and sky,
Transparent shells for eyes allied,
Through the mystery of this myriad,
Life, expanding,
Flowers bloom,
The silent footsteps leaving imprints indelible,
To rouse what's been left in the wake of the fray,
Another day,
Resonating rants and rages,
Still...between these glistening pages,
Touch this madness, welcome the raindrops,
That quench the thirst denied,
The traded taste of bittersweet,
For a fallacious and fanciful photo of realism,
Hold life in unfettered arms of love in such exquisite grace,
So that misguided souls fear not
The acquiescence of humility's embrace.

The Animal Called Man

The animal called man, reasons, aspires, climbs great heights,
He conjures up storms in his mind, his passions, his righteousness,
Makes blazing fires that steal the night, turns days into weeks,
Wraps them up tight, inventions sometimes bewitching his sight,
His creations can mold him, grow old with him, or control him,
And time, that exists not, his domination of all he's got,
Moments of pleasure wane with his age, as he forgets
The importance of what is still, and has always been within,
And what once was a dream of melodious, resounding rapture
Grows stagnant in the well of his heart's desire,
A hodgepodge of clutter,
As the beauty of his spirit turns from golden sparkle
To greyish hues that brandish him an outer view that begs him,
Enticing him to change what has rendered his world askew.
He arrives in a place of understanding,
And in the final hours the light shines through,
Too late, as he bids it all adeiu, his final words,
"I wish I knew".
