like porcelain shavings
her skin began to crack
like a feather floating on thin air
she's losing strands of silken hair
the mirror spits back
all the qualities in which we lack
like needles in our eyes
poisoned with vain lies
she savored the quiet moments
devoid of conversation
the sound of still breathing
the footsteps that followed him leaving.
the closer I feel
the further you fade
the more I crave
the less you feed
so I chose not to need
a single thing..
will there ever be a solid bridge built to cross..?
a river below, to toss our fears away...
voices muffled, as she sank deeper
yet no hand reaches.
sunshine streaks through the surface
the only warmth you'll get
engulfed in cold fluids
& a heart weighed down by loves disillusions---
many reminders of what could have been..
all alone
she knew it all along..
Strong yet gentle enough to hold children when they greet you.
Skilled fingers that know kitchen tools to cook yummy foods,
and crafty to complete heart blissing projects.
Beautiful hands, even though there are scars staining the beauty.
Each scar recieves a tender kiss like you kissing the tears away.
Strong, beautiful but worker's hands.
Pride and honour held in the palms.
.....................
The universe holds me,
Gently in it's arms,
Lovingly, with the grace of angels,
Stardust sprinkled upon my tired brow.
The universe holds me.
The universe warms me,
Kindly, with it's luster,
Blankets of billowing clouds,
And whispering winds that feel cool
Upon my heated beads of sweat
Sustained through growing pains
And open wounds.
The universe holds me.
The universe morphs my human frailties
Tenderly, like swirling colors of the rainbows
That shine their golden mist upon the greenest hillsides,
Donning light upon the flowers on its rolling breasts,
Transforming solid ground
To birth the dreams of cherubs' quests.
The universe holds me.
The universe holds me,
In darkest night,
When life has left and all is withered,
Dreams, once shining stars of fire
Now turned to ash by life's demands,
I wake to find the universe,
So devotedly, tucked safely in my hands.

Me detengo, mi taza de las manos
LIFTIG mi cabeza hacia el cielo
la captura de la gotos de lluvia.
