Hey Mr Government ( song lyrics/acoustic guitar)

Song Lyrics

Song lyrics for acoustic guitar

(The chords are G D A)

Hey mister president,

Thanks for dropping by

I hope you know that I

Wanted you to try and break us free

Hey mister president

Did you know that I have sent

A letter to our government

But it was never relevant or read to you

Hey mister government

Thank you for the times

And Thank you for my dimes

And thank you fr'all the lies

But it's just  a fools game anyhow

Hey mister senator

I hope your feeling proud

With your head up in clouds

 a wife you sleep around

Pictured is a man who looks just like you

Hey mister president

I hope you play my song

On the white houses front lawn

And that it makes you think about

What it means

To be

Counted on for change

But not a pocket full of dimes

Or building walls  or speeding fines

Just a voice to keep my time

And we will all hold hands and sing

with a voice that is the meaning

Of tomorrow

Something Strange

Once, upon a long ago time,

During times unexpected came a day,

That I did utter a crime,

Nothing more than did I say,

Not of any mention of a beard,

But more along the lines of weird,

Never meaning to offend,

I thought she was a little strange,

Apalled, she brought words to defend,

As if I had paralled her to deranged,

In such confusion was an apology,

And as such explained my mind,

It was no comment on physiology,

Or that her thoughts were unrefined,

In fact I identified as much stranger,

And never knew the word a danger,

To mention a difference is vile,

Hearing such brings no smile,

The revelation was startling,

Thus began reality departing:

There is such worship of creativity,

But those things are held in captivity,

Trained to be the same in each activity,

Only wanting to see most productivity,

I dared to, continue to,

Be something strange,

I've collected a small crew,

Which I will never exchange.

We are the seperated odd,

But do not think us flawed,

If ever we utter the word,

Just know we mean to applaud--

Let not meaning of the word be blurred.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Because, once, I seemed to have offended someone calling them a little bit strange. . .

And I suppose, they did not know I called myself far stranger.

Too Bad

I speak my mind.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I bear you my soul.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I believe that all beings and

life forms are all the same,

and different,

at the same time,

and that we are slowly losing

our connection to this concept

as a species, and it is destroying us.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I believe there is a sanctity

that lies within each individual,

every animal,

every life form.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

Don't like my

style of self-expression?

My authenticity?

My 'attitude'?

My disgust with closed-minded people?

My honesty?

My truth?

It's just plain too bad.

I love yours, and I hope

one day we can meet halfway.

"too bad"

Bricks and Concrete

You seem so phased that im different

You seem so overturned that i dont live up to your immoral standard

You get mad when i remain unmoved by your deletirious innuendos

Difference is my unearned virtue

Independence is a mentality

So who i am isnt determined by my genes  but by my God and my psychological intellect

So let me incline as you try to fill me with a since of culpability for being different and i will never be on the level as you because i am one

I am a individual

I am different

So for a summary....

I am a brick while you are concrete
