trial

Trial

The criminals face trial,

At times the criminals are not criminals,

They turn into the victims,

The pitiful individuals!

Dr. Aziz in A Passage to India,

Is such an example,

Lord Jim can also be said so,

From the modern world, plenty is available.

Who in fact are victorious eventually?

The ones who try or the victims consequently.

Too Bad

I speak my mind.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I bear you my soul.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I believe that all beings and

life forms are all the same,

and different,

at the same time,

and that we are slowly losing

our connection to this concept

as a species, and it is destroying us.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

I believe there is a sanctity

that lies within each individual,

every animal,

every life form.

Don't like it?

Too bad.

Don't like my

style of self-expression?

My authenticity?

My 'attitude'?

My disgust with closed-minded people?

My honesty?

My truth?

It's just plain too bad.

I love yours, and I hope

one day we can meet halfway.

Trial by Media

Mourning for a loss long gone,
The shadows collect dust.
While progress stagnates a nation;
Holding its breath under water,
Too afraid to rise and inhale,
They’re going under.

No circumstances can revoke the true calling,
Born to power, though none have fared to be the example.
A pedestal crumbling at its very foundation,
Old world opinion dressed in new linen.
The pirates and plunderers are now completely grounded,
With man-made rules trapping their exploitations.

No facts will remain, but the scandal’s a winner,
No need for the lynching when there’s a trial by media.
Watch the fall of an empire by satellite,
With a television screen and blotted rag paper.

The Burden Of Love And The Consequence Of Blind Devotion

Folder:
Azrael's War

"Was it not I who fought for you, who cast down punishment upon my own brethren in your name...who stood by your side during the first rebellion, and slay my own blood...was it not I who existed only to carry the greatest burden; one hand holding the light and the other bathing in blood. Now this mark of shame I shall bear for eternity...these horns of punishment I once cursed upon the fallen, I now carry."

Hypocrit

Sunrise glints across the water
I stand watching my family
Have fun with me the bystander
Just standing as the wannabe

Lush water wafting up to my ankles
Shading darker as deeper
Splashes get to me and trickle
Down my spine invoking shiver

I'm not alone as I sit
Not brave enough for hydrotherapy
On the menacing beach a hypocrit
Since I spoke before ability to see

Carnal footsteps follow me
On the walk back a wimp
With my earnest cold family
Trudging to our inocculate camp
