I was searching

Kissing you passionately so

Is my desire you know

brief glance

He is Walking the street

London before but nowhere to go

A city to hide in but nowhere to be

A quick glance to change my world

Standing in summer the shade

Shadows covering her angelic face

His smile spreads at her elegant grace

She smiles in return it halts his pace

He stumble’s he stops he stammers

His heart sure to burst in fear and desire

His mind screams to walk, No run away

But wait!

His feet reject his minds command,

Carrying him through his fear to her

His brain is frozen, thoughts a jumble

His lips move, asking her name

He is stunned as she replies

Her accent thick and sultry

He speaks a reply words unbidden

She blushes prettily, and apologises

He stop’s stunned why are you sorry? Asks he

heart slows expecting the inevitable rejection,

Can you speak more slowly comes her sultry reply

She haltingly says, My English is not so good

His heart leaps and again his mouth moves

Words spilling out in a yammering mess

He is jabber at her happily, but not realising

Her English is better than his Russian

He is a fool talking to fast brain to slow to realise it

But wait she isn’t walking away, she is smiling

She looks up at him hair resting lightly upon her shoulders

A face Beautiful and luscious

Her face slightly lowered her eyes raised

Slightly obscured but all the more stunning for it

It happens so fast, He forgets to blink

He asks  if she has a number, she does! (yippee).

His hands are shaking, blood pumping

It must be obvious how nervous I he is

Incredibly she doesn’t seem to notice or care

He loves her all the more for it

He steps away promising to call,

She remains with angelic grace

His steps now as light as air,

A moment eyes connected

A heartbeat to fall in love

A life time to regret

A wasted opportunity of eternal love

A friendship that will last an age if nothing less

He remembers, she remembers

Irina my little pigeon in denim

Always missed, always wanted

Not by Chance

We came to be,
And we ceased.
As if touched by the Erlking,
It died without a trace.

We have often looked back,
We have not forgotten what died,
For it was not without trouble
That love was lost in a flurry.

A rash decision,
Perhaps.
The right decision,
We do not know.

It happens for a reason,
So I’ve been told.
Nothing is an accident,
And if it matters,
It will return.

Take a Chance on Me

Verse 1:
And I love you so.

Take a chance on me.

We'll be each other's goodbyes.

Come on babe, give us a chance.

Chorus:

From the moment that we met and

Each moment there after,

I felt like I knew you.

Wherever we'd go, it was together.

It was so natural for you to be with me.

Verse 2:

Now, the time has come for me

To confess me feelings that grew daily.

'Cause I love you so,

Take a chance on me.

Bridge:

I hope you think of me

Whenever we're together or apart.

'Cause babe, I love you so.

Take a chance on me.

Last-Chorus:

And when the time comes,

I'll take you away from here.

'Cause I love you so,

Take a chance on me.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this song earlier this year dedicated to my friend's older brother despite being in a long term, serious, committed relationship myself. Friend's older brother is what I call "my dream guy."...I'm not sure what to do. I love my boyfriend but we rarely/hardly spend time together. I'm my boyfriend's "dream girl..." I think the lyrics are self-explanatary.

Soul Mate

Folder:
2014

Chad, you are my soul mate

We found each other by chance

And we nearly lost each other

All because of what I used to do

But yet, we have stuck by each other

Even though we wont be together

For quite a while, I know in the long run,

We will be together forever

I know this because that is

The way we both want it

Because we both know

That we were meant to be together

So no matter what may come,

I love you just like you love me

Because we are meant to be together

Because we are soul mates

The Moon Shines Close For Them Tonight

The moon shines close for them tonight
A thousand lonely souls join together in its light
Encompassing this vast planet
They are binded by the similarities they share
Their lost hearts are yet to discover
Answers to the unanswered
Their other half in this world
The reason to feeling so alone
The purpose of their existance
Some dwell on the desires
That they will never acquire
Repeatedly attempting to obtain the unobtainable
I simply want to ask you
What is your purpose?
When you know that what you are longing for
Will never have a chance to materialize?

Author's Notes/Comments:

Everyone is born with their own purpose in life. This poem is for all who have not yet discovered that, or feel that they don't really belong in this society. However,it's important to know what's worth fighting for and what's better to just give up on.

The Summons

Deja Vu means something "already seen",
And when it happens to us,
We experience an awareness of something
That calls us to become the observer,
However eerie at times it may be during these moments,
Or perhaps a feeling of wonder, with some element of mystery or suspense,
What is it?

Could it be that as we expand and contract,
Within the many different planes of consciousness,
We travel in and out of dimensions of the psyche,
To test the waters of our existence in ways that move the soul,
To greater knowledge and learning?
Or is it some soul inspiration that arises in an effort,
Churning the cosmic wheel to raise us higher
Than the sordid depths, where we wallow in an earthly existence,
Without the fires that fuel man's evolutionary aspirations?

Perhaps it is the soul in these moments that thrusts it's momentum onto us
After a feeble will of human self-pity imposes an attempt upon themselves,
In writhing suicidal escape, desperatly, a fettered fragment of itself in a different dimension?
And Deja Vu, a manipulation of time and space by hands unseen,

Belonging to the soul,
And spirit unacknowledged, that speaks to us
Through this awareness, this conundrum, Deja Vu...
...could it be, that what it is, is an offer to tear down the walls?

To remove the veils?

Deja Vu...

Deja Vu...

Deja Vu...

   ...an offered cosmic breakthrough?

Spiral to the moon

the eyes are so beautiful...

people abuse their lips too often..

ugly words.. distraught faces.

passing through dark voids..

black spaces..

footprints in cement..

writing in sand..

mistakes made, but by the time I realize..

it always seems just too late.

maybe we don't deserve a second chance..

sometimes I feel like that's all I need.

guess i'll have to deal.

in my mind, i've kneeled to you & cried.

in this heart, my yearning towards you will not subside so easily.

my soul is screaming..

there's a spirit looking down..

such disappointment,

destroying me.

false reality you try & pull her into..

worn limbs, shattered smiles, heavy eyes.

the pain is swelling..

so fake, you keep on, like a robot, with no cause...

fuck these man-made laws.

I don't need your restriction to enjoy myself.

these rules crash down, fallen stones on the ground..

I will blow away with the leaves, for I am not stablized as the trees.

some night, near or distant, I will fly up & greet the moon..

when I get there, i'll ask, "is it still too soon...?"

Clearly Hidden From View

Personal Favorites

It could be, eyes see differently
That I might not appreciate the same view
If it is a gaze, fixed at a distance,
focused on the impossible, maybe
Or thought, fought inwardly about
out of reach, league, or better without
What the heart stays chained to
Tethered secretly, and at great distance
though to step out of the safe places,
out of clear evaluation, a secret admiration
dreamed about, infatuated and unspoken
outside of dreams that are intoxicated
provoked, streamed and called by heart
and habit of longing, watching imagining
the, oh, sensation the simple locking of hands
shared smiles and confessions with no verbalization
true love, of two souls who somehow vibrated
out of devine planning, or intervention, if not random
but could never happen for me, not lucky enough
but am, or will, just might, only if,... I...
Step out, shed loves shaded shadows of obscurity,
offering clearly, in the center of that one's
unknowing, yet appreciative gaze, becoming focused
and dance, not, hint none, but let your heart
express what it wants and be free of this
the unknowing, Clearly hidden from view
confronts and demands unknowings end.
