they are both poetic you know
you can rhyme butterfly or rainbow
why don't you just give it a try
do you prefer rainbow or butterfly
neither one is more or less
both cause equal happiness
I want to know,
Why is so beautiful the rainbow?
How is it painted in the air?
Who paints it there?
The rainbow vanishes quickly,
Before disappearing it spreads so beautifully,
I just look at it curiously,
I am in love with the rainbow honestly.
Rainbow! Rainbow!
Stay forever, do not go!

The color of all the leaves when they change
For when they get ready for winter
Where all the animals get arranged
And you trying to get out that wood splinter
For the winters snow will begin to fall
When the insects go into hiding
You know they heard the colds call
Watching all the animals deciding
All the colors of nature
Change the look of everything
All the leaves color the pasture
All the beauty that nature has to bring
In the kids hearing all their laughter
A calm sound when the nature sings

HOWE ROAD IN AKRON
*
The dog was abandoned,
.. said the answering service,
on Howe Road.. She waited
at a telphone pole
for 48 hours. For 2 days she had
chased each passing car.
1000 times her heart rose
and fell
until she learned how not
to feel..
Later she found a happy
home..
The roots of trust grew
slowly...
but steadily..
as pain took many moons
to seep out of her
heart....

POEMBIRTH
As red hot lava turns to

so crystallizes poets' agony
into poetry
for you and for me.

POETRY BY SAIOM SHRIVER
April 16 and 17 2015
Space-
Desolate, void.
Taunting, pleading, screaming
Desires echo through the
Distance.
Society-
Blind, savage.
Judging, hating, dehumanizing
The believers of equality.
Unkind.
We-
In between.
Trusting, trying, hoping
Surviving all odds through
Love.
Space-
Between us.
Empowering, making the
Rainbow above us more
Colorful.
I want to go there
and rainbow has been appeared and hidden
I am back to water and pulled back constantly
found a transparent key between blue and black
holding it to the light of white moon
It brights green slightly
I want to go there
But the key has been disappeared
I am back to the tear and pushed back constantly
The moon melts in white darkness
With gentle morning rain,
a rainbow brights vividly
Sunlight blinds you
Burns my eyes
Hard to think this
Is Paradise
It’s far too bright
For us to see
As I am cooled
By a breeze
Diamond sparkle
From the sand
Rainbow light
Across the land
Desert beauty
But still cool
For my wonder
The sight is fuel
I look at you
You look at me
In the shade
Of a palm tree
That we’re under
I gaze in wonder
I can’t believe I have the power
To hold the love of this desert flower
All alone we are together
Will we ever leave?
Never
so enticed by your own suffering..
it keeps coming back around..
just when you think you're standing up, you get pushed down.
you wonder, but why bother..
I know what that feels like...
to be swallowing dirt, with your face planted into the ground..
your mind is in constant crucifixion..
you can't look at the clouds, & know the sun is behind it..
the hands of time move in circles...
quality is not quantity..
tomorrow is not today.
if this storm hovers over me,
if it fucking pours down on me,
for all eternity..
raindrops will glisten through my eyes..
you'll see I never tried to hide..
because the rain can bring out our true colors,
when given the chance to pass..
I will walk along a street of rainbows,
while the past burns, & falls to ash..
my heart says not to turn, & walk away..
but so badly it yearns to fly, & just escape..
oh, Sweet Euphoria..
Let’s catch the rainbow,
No, not today,
Leave it for tomorrow,
Let it first bid farewell to the day.
It might not be there at the next sunrise,
So what! We have no right,
To be conceited, it’s not wise,
And, to gratify our greed, fight.
Well, I don’t feel like catching it any more,
I can’t ever hurt your feelings for sure.
