The Path of the River

I am bound again, just as they said I was
It's clear and beautiful blue hue becomes forever cloudy
A bird's chirps become distorted by the rain and thunder's cries

I walk alone the path of the river
Alone accompanied by my footprints only
Till the crow comes to bring yet another question
This I can't ignore, for the world will shiver

And the steam shall arise from my next decision
and the never's and forever's again will pour the air
I hope to hold on to whatever is left
The sun can tell another day, to become my true vision

society

society

i came to a point

    where

i have seen lots of things

cruel people, helpless people, precious people

  all of them

but the sad truth is

most people are helpless

and within their state of helplessness

they get cruel

and i wish i would know

 why.

i had to see things with my own eyes

some people just want to hurt others

to feel better about their whole self

insulting and bullying others

in order to destroy them

in order to being not broken

it brought me to a point:

society's lost

lost in itself

because

it got ruined

by itself

it's

   lost

        helpless

                     cruel

The Thing About That Word

The thing about truth is that it points out

some wrongdoing on the part of us all,

and our social values tend to be primitive in nature

whereby we choose human sacrifice

in the same way ancient civilizations

burned people at the stake and crucified them

for even suggesting such a thing, as if for us all

to bear the weight of life's burdens together

is an absurdity.

Who Am I?

I am a shadow, long gone
I am forgotten, disappointments spawn
I am the weeping, in nights silent hour
From society, who savors the sour
I am the dark, stuck within my fears
I am denied, to them and all who hears
I was a dreamer, now hiding within my sleep
From the all of the promises that I can not keep
I am a shadow, long gone

I loved, and I loved you well.
Even after you challenge me hell
I remember, she parted us, you and I
She kissed your cracks, promising you lies
She left you broken, by the dead
But me, I wanted you by my side, to cherish instead

Author's Notes/Comments:

An old class assignment I digged up.

It was supposed to be more simple and straightforward.

But I remember, I couldn't help myself from twisting it up

Which results with this

Monsters In The Dark

Now listen to what I have to say

For the wicked hide in the shadows of this day

You know nothing of what is of me

You may know the color of my eyes

But not of what they are capable to see

Now here, I've warned this upon you

For not every smile is ever true

Everything is not set in stone

You may say there is an answer

When nothing is completely known

Close your eyes, please understand

That what you may rely on is a blood-thirsty hand

Unknown of what they truly are

Watch think before you turn and talk

Someone so close to you can be so far

So remember before you go on and say

"But why would anyone do this to me anyway?"

Human nature can be full of evil and greed

Unwatched, A monster born within the shadows, full only of self pleasure and need.

Her Perspective

I found a girl, and saw her perspective
Silent, yet surprisingly reflective
They claimed she was away, entirely defective

But I knew otherwise just from the look in her eyes
I saw through the silent, and closed off disguise

And from there, I saw the immediate connection
Completely dissected, but still searches for true affection

Her warm, yet crooked emotion
A calmed, yet broken devotion

Silent, but struggling for her sound
and yet, still not a face found

Her skin torn, gone and rotten.
Her mouth stolen, words lost, ignored and forgotten.

She was exposed to all of the morbid things
Corrupted lies, and uneven broken wings

All she wanted to know if happiness was true
This is what I saw, this was the girl I knew

And she left sudden, without a word,
Her existence she seen was too blurred

Before I could realize, she was gone and done
Did you ever wonder what life can become?

All she wanted to know if happiness was true
This is what I saw, this was the girl I knew..

What It Is

I feel like every single thing is like a mind game,  played and laid out for me

I can't feel a single thing, like I'm not blind, but I still can't see

What is it really? Perhaps it's not that important?

Tell me what it is, or is it just my own comportment?

I have walked in the very things I've looked down upon

What I once thought was selfish, now I too am wrong

and now there is blood all over my hand

But I have no idea why, I just don't understand

This is a complication called the human mind

Irony, double standards, hypocrisy, A place to be so blind

To wallow and loop in this thick puddle of shame

For the mistakes commited, I fairly wore the blame

Knowing is the beginning is something I suppose

It's better to learn, rather than to find it to oppose.

So I guess I'll take my feelings and throw them to the floor

I'll leave you where you originally were, trapped inside a closed door

And you can echo your goodbyes

as you embrace yourself to the ink of sheer ignorance and sighs..

Bound

Bound by the cities

Bound by another one's pity's

Expect a place to be

Or expect not want to be seen

And I'll take you as walking money

I see you as a pretty big funny

We and I, all have found our place

And you my dear, have barely found a face

Bound to me, and to my briefcase

I'll lend you a smile, but you're a secret disgrace

Find the comfort in another's eyes

But in reality, another girl will have them hooked on their clever disguise

Find a place to be

Or expect not want to be seen

Stuck in a rut

With no qualities, not knowing what

Who are you and what are you in this city?

Gone and withdrawn, alone and all shitty?

Expect a place to see

Or expect us to be mean

For you are bound

What goes around, comes around

You are stuck here, forever with me

With no voice, or founding plea

For you are bound

My slave, to paint my sacred ground

The Poison In You

What if I wasn't like you?

And I was just me, and Myself was true?

And if you did bad would it mean I would too?

Would it mean if I did it, I'm exactly like you?

Would I be subject to your evil?

Would I be subject to your internal upheaval?

What if I am good in spirit,

And you might just rather not hear it

And if I did bad, does it mean I'm just like you?

Looking for an excuse for the culprit that causes blue?

Decisions left to baseless comparison

Myself gone from me, and origin

She tells me so, I'm just like him and her

Do you see my other qualities as just a blur?

Bring my poison, she admits me to it

Determines me as someone else and then she sits

Then, who am I?

A continuation of your deranged views, someone elses cry?
