Where to begin where to end
When to say when how to win
My love is all I want to send
To be with you
To hold your hand
To really know you is to know
To take a stand
To be a friend
To say hello good-bye good day goodnight
To tell the one you love
What a sight
To forgive after a fight
Finding bad news
Holding eachother while taking a snooze
Taking care of each others heart
Saying you love
Trying not to fall apart
Promising people won't shove
A perfect fit as tight as a glove
Missing each other
Kissing one another
Always tell the truth
No matter how scared you may be
If your love is true
You'll understand you'll see
I can't wait till that day you look up at me
While your on one knee
When I met you
My skies they turned blue
Baby you're the one for me
Don't ask how I just know
So please don't set me free

Today you begin to breathe
It's the day you begin to die
You know you're getting older
You begin to cry
The tear that just dropped
And landed on your shoulder
Has already began to dry
It's getting harder to move
Your bones you begin to hear "pop"
Minutes of your life you're starting to lose
Praying your heart doesn't stop
Depression begins
The number of days lived drop
Stress is out beating you.... it wins
The day you begin to live
Another heartbeat has gone by
Yesterday is just a memory you can't give
You ask yourself why
Each breath you take
Another day you try
Praying the next day you wake
Angels above you fly
They wait until the time is right
You feel their presence is strong
To live you will put up a fight
Your time is not up they are wrong

Not Done
When does morning start?
When a creature awakes,
Or when the sun rises?
Yea, the morning is
When a creature awakes
To find it starting anew
In the world dominated
By mortal souls.
The human wakes up
First by opening its eyes,
Then stretching its muscles
And sitting up in a position
To retreat from the bed
That held it prisoner
During the long, dark night.
Out of bed it goes
Attending its normal
Robotic morning routine
Whilst thinking of the future,
Of what the day holds,
And how the day will go.
Either gleefully or woefully
Does the human think of this
For not all mornings
Are filled with happiness and glee.
Fearful not is the human
Who takes things as they go
Wave by wave.
Wave by wave harassing it,
Wave by wave attacking it,
Wave by wave saddening it,
Wave by wave entertaining it,
Wave by wave knocking it down.
Each wave the human does take
Accepting each as a challenge,
As an opponent, an obstacle,
And one that must be rid of.
Defeat is not in its dictionary,
For there is no defeat
If one can rise again,
And face the same challenge
To only be victorious.
The human does not give up,
It does not ponder on the past,
But it rises from its ashes -
Waking up to start anew
In a world dominated
By mortal souls.
Took a deep breath in the mirror
You didn't like it when I wore these shoes
But I do
Turn the lock and put my headphones on
You always said you didn't get this song
But I do
I do
Walked in expecting you'd be late
But you got here early and you'd stand and wave
I walked to you
Pulled the chair and helped me in
And you don't know how nice that is
But I do
And you throw your head back laughing
like a little kid
I think it's strange that you think I'm funny
'cause she never did
And I've been spending the last eight months
thinking all love ever does is break and burn and end
But on a Friday, in a bakery
I watched it begin again
I said I never met someone who could
understand these LG records as me
But you do
We tell stories and you don't know why
I'm coming off a little shy
But I do
But you show your killer smile
with the perfect teeth
I think it's new that you say I'm sorry
'cause she never did
And I've been spending this year's eight months
But in August, when our eyes met
I let it begin again
And we walked down the block to the cab
I almost brought her up
But you stopped to talk
About the colors that you dyed your hair once
Every single nighttime
I wanna talk about her
But for the first time
What's past is past
'Cause you held me in your arms
like a little kid
I think it's strange that you say I'm priceless
'cause she never did
And I've been spending the first eight months
Thinking all love ever does is fail and mourn and slay
But in October when we held close
I had it begin again
But on a Friday, in a bakery
I watched begin again
Take my hand, it won't be far -
let's walk together into dark.
Reality can't cage our hearts,
I promise you it's just a start.
Are you afraid of word 'forever'?
Forget the meaning life has given.
The place I'll take you to is better -
be brave and break out of this prison.
Create a world anew from scratch,
mold its shape from void and silence.
The bluebird won't be hard to catch,
it's our home - the new asylum.
