Beyond the Fence

Folder:
Beauty

Surrounded with good postured grass and newly fallen leaves

My eyes soak up sparkling dew and lungs rejoice with the breeze

My private haven, with bright greens and sunshine gold’s

A place where my imagination can soar, and beauty is bold

This magnificent meadow, with vibrant colors and rich smells

Every strand of dark green grass has a story to tell

My admiration, my escape, this secluded refuge serves

My gaze is set on climbing trees, with their out stretched arms that curve

This caring defense, of plump bushes and soaring trees

Save me from the outside world, yet lets me be free

I watch the graceful decent, of an autumn leaf,

Flow to a calm bed of grass, which lie beneath

I peer upon a family of rocks, caught between day and night

Relaxing in the Earths cool soil, yet bathe in deep sunlight

These fluid thoughts, abetted by the breeze

A place, my place; my mind set free

...and beyond

..........

Like the love affair of the moon and the sun,

the stars and the earth...and then we awaken to our human birth,

feet on the ground, we walk in this dream,

grappling all for the question,

"what does this mean?"

something unseen,

to be pondered upon,

and apply to life's realities,

and bring in a new dawn.

Sweet Nyarlathotep, when our love is never done;

Appearing to me when I did call.

Please tell me you never be gone,

Don't break my heart at all...

These fearful nightmares,

The road to terror and beyond.

Loving your most precious words,

That made us twain, that made us One.

Author's Notes/Comments:

A love poem for Nyarlathotep.

This Is All I Can Say

I miss you, sometimes painfully,

And I love you so,

And it isn't the parts you think,

But the parts of you that glow,

It's the part only I have ever seen and loved,

I hardly know it, and yet it is the part your heart is of,

And somehow I am ashamed I never knew it,

Because to me, it's amazing...'sunlit',

Even though it's behind all your pain,

Somehow it sings my name, again and again,

But how can I ever know?

If you're afraid to let anyone in,

If you're afraid to grow?

Abdul Alhazred

Folder:
Poetry

Alhazred was born in Yemen,
Traveling in the known world;
Amassing lore and legend,
And the tales of the fiends.

A writer and a poet,
He was educated much.
Geometry, algebra, Alchemy
And magickal incantations' need.

From the cup of occult knowledge
He drank deep...
Driving a normal person
To madness or beyond.

Alhazred was once a normal man,
With desires like we all can.
He was Arab by birth,
With a pale skin in rebirth.
Being labeled the mad,
As he was once a dad.
But had to eat his child,
By the King of the Palace's might.

He wrote down the Necronomicon,
In more than one song...
The obscure, the forgotten,
The suppressed, the rotten.
Never meant to be read;
It causes insanity with speed.
Not interpreted rationally,
The thoughts cause a rally.

Alhazred was insane,
By the lore he learned within.
But he wrote clear,
With many a tear.

The state of the Universe,
In reality suspense;
Plaything of mad gods at best,
Sewer of evil in the north, south, east, west.

Humans dare not dream of this,
For their peaceful lives they cannot miss.
A warning and guide this book is,
And by the Djinns you do wish.

Alhazred died, not a mystery,
It is written in history.
In the marketplace,
He was erased.
By the Demon from beyond,
Who wanted him gone.
Blood upon the sand,
There he was banned.
In broad daylight,
With many a sight.

He meddled with evil things,
With beings with wings.
He is now dead,
After he bled...

Cthulhu Calls

Folder:
Poetry

I did something bad,
Cthulhu I met.
Aeons of pain I need to see,
But according to Them it cannot be.

I hear Him from beyond,
In lyrics that art not mine.
I hear Him screaming out to me,
I hear the Call of Cthulhu: smell, hear and see!

Author's Notes/Comments:

Some thoughts about Cthulhu.

Beyond

Folder:
Poetry

What if all was beyond that,

Would there still be innocence?

I cannot live with such a thought,

It will surely break me apart.

Is nature itself innocent?

It's full of ravage and wrath.

But it is not evil nor good,

Being one with the Soul, not apart.

Magick is what once was lost,

To be discovered thereupon.

Magick is the key to knowledge,

To the Unknown and the Soul.

Author's Notes/Comments:

I wrote this once for a contest on another poetry-site.
