love

The Slightest Glance

The slightest glance into my eye

the fewest smallest words

a touch, like those yet multiplied

a second glance, a third

a closeness closer than apart

a laugh, a smile, a cue

just this alone, no skill or art

and from this i love you

Band Lyrics

Verse 1:
Forget everything, I hope we can.

Falling like a shooting star.

Where do we go when the light’s not changing?

Tell me if I can feel with my old heart again.

In my changed heart, I still carry the old feelings of our love.

In your mind, we’ve already just ended.

To our friends: we were perfect for each other.

Chorus:
On my face, you can see it clearly

That I want to use up everything I have

To repair our broken past.

Tell me, if you feel the same as me.

Our ships are anchored to each other.

Somewhere, somehow, I’ll find my way back to us.

Verse 2:

We have chemistry and history but

Tell me: what do you really feel about us?

Tell me if we’re better off as friends

Or just forbidden lovers in this world.

Tell me everything you are.

Tell me all the stories you have for now.

I can just tell that you’ve struggled in this cold world.

Bridge:
Can someone show me how to run away?

You have all of me yet

I’m left with nothing of you.

If there is any way:

Know that I’ll always love you.

Know that I’ll always be there for you.

About a love that you cannot just forget....

Like Blood

Folder:
2019

I empty and fill

open and close.

I stifle the world with strong pepper.

You swallow me senseless

count the stairs, I’m still blind

and I can’t be apart from you.

They all forget my name.

I forget the sounds I’ve made

in every handshake.

I keep getting caught in their tears.

Maybe swords.

I keep writing the words,

Love is like blood.

Strong and helpless and falling,

collapsing over my fingers

to crawl out of me.

I choke on all the spoons

that turn out to be spikes.

I still don’t know how to write the words,

Love is in my blood.

Hands of time

It seems like only minutes pass

And then you are gone

Into the nothingness

That surrounds me when you are away

Our hearts fleeting moments

Seem to go by in the blink of an eye

Our desire for one another’s touch

Is only enjoyed in intermittent flashes of time

How we both desperately want to reach out

And take hold of the hands of time

And use them to bend and mold

The very fabric of time and space

Into a continuous shared moment

Within our very own place

Of timeless existence

Cupid's Arrow

Cupid's  arrow

Forgot to aim

Cause it has not  hit my heart yet

Its untouch

Love has not whisper my name

Oh no

Not finding anybody

Special for a change

Not finding that person

That set your heart in flames

You know that deep connection

When your eyes lock

You feel it in your veins

You feel it for days

Cupid's arrow

Forgot to aim

Cause it has not hit

My heart yet

It's untouch

Love has not whisper my name

Oh no

Don't wanna complain

But me and love are out of sync

Cupid's arrow forgot to aim

Cause it has not hit my heart yet

Love has not whisper my name

Oh no

I'm  left out

In so many way

Maybe I missed the signs

Maybe I should focus on myself now

Goodbye for now

Can it be real

or am I just fooling myself?

To believe that your love for me

Has not been put on a shelf

Packed away and discarded

Like an old photo or toy

Your pure and unconditional love

Like when you were a boy

Innocent and sweet

You held me in your heart

But now the years and life’s challenges

Have torn us apart

You have chosen a path

That is rocky and tough

And my guidance and attempts to divert you

 Have not been enough

You ran from youth fast

Confused and unsure

Towards the deceitful blinding light

Of adulthoods allure

As I stand here and watch you stumble

Like when you took your first steps

But now unable to help or reach out to you

Now that you’ve fallen into the depts

But my hand will always be within reach for you

And my heart open wide

To take hold of either

If you should ever decide

I wish you only happiness

And pray you will find

All the things you’ll need in your life

To replace what you’ve left behind

I will say goodbye to you

But only for now

Because I know you will find your way back to me

Someday or somehow

Do not weep for me now

Do not weep for me now

For I am back in my mother’s arms

Do not morn another day

For I walk in peace

With those who have been waiting in the light

To share their everlasting love

Do not be saddened

For I have been blessed with your love

And carry it in my heart

To my new plain of existence

Do not be afraid

For I am a part of the light that shines down upon you

And brightens your way towards your future

Do not feel lonely

For I am the one who will watch over and protect you

Until we again walk hand in hand

To our eternal place of peace

For those who are dealing with the loss of a loved one. God bless

Feeding the Flame of Insecurity

As I looked in your eyes

I saw a tiny flicker

As if a small piece of your love for me

Died deep within you

A flicker so small

You barely gave it notice

But it blazed like the sun

As it seared my heart

I felt my soul shiver

As if your precious gift

Was pulled from body

A sickening wave of despair

Passes through me

As I realize your love for me

Will no longer be whole

My heart is left broken

And bleeding with regret

Unable to mend the wound

That has been inflicted.

Will time heal the damage?

Or will I have to suffer

A slow painful death

As the fire within you

Slowly dies out

Shall I continue to fan the flames

That I see still burning inside you?

Or does the fuel for my love

No longer have the capacity to sustain it?

I think I shall just close my eyes

And let fate run its course

All For a Dream

How far would you go?

To reach your dreams.

How much of yourself would you forgo?

Split yourself at the seams.

And the family you would forget

Your face they won't recognize

Even yourself, you couldn't see with your own two eyes

Success begets success

At what cost would it take?

You have the work ethic

But love you forsake.

To attain a dream,

sometimes bridges must be burned

let go of everything

to show in life what can be earned.

How many hearts must you break?

To feel so bittersweet.

How much love would you forsake?

To make yourself feel complete.

Perfectionist in mind, worker at heart

Life is always moving

So some place you must start

Resistance will occur

Your loved ones you will defer

Because of a dream of life you prefer

All the poems that you write

All the sleepless nights

The guitar you learn to play

Hours spent each and every day

Yourself might slip away

But this dream you must achieve.

When one becomes so engrossed

In something they desire

To get the most,

You must add kindling to the fire.

All those that dreamt

Put forth work towards those dreams

Even if that meant,

Losing everything.

They knew at one point

If you put your all in, it'd pan out

And even if it didn't, you lived a life without doubt

Whether done out of spite, or because it felt right, or to prove to oneself

Even going as far as putting aside your own mental health.

Those dreams you feel the urge to pursue

So that one day you may feel at home with Big Blue.

No matter the pain or love you've undone

It's all part of this road that you run

If you truly want it, then you mustn't give up the gun.

Years to come, no matter the difficulty or how you feel

Wouldn't you give everything?

To make your dreams become real.
