Waterfall And Cave

as the waterfall's silver

with its flowing stream
and rising steam
hides the cave behind it
so does maya

Yesterday I heard the Earth Breathe

Yesterday, by a stream, I heard the Earth breathe and sensed the rhythm of her blood flow.
As I listened to her water rush by and felt a gentle zephyr blow.

I stood at the base of her waterfall...and by her power was enthralled
As I watched her shed her summer leaves as she welcomed in the Fall.

I stare into your eyes and see the infinity, it calls me endlessly

And I gather every morsel I can, like a wild animal in your mind at times,

A sensuous delight in your bed, consumed by our hunger for us,

Brightening the darkest moments in our heads.

When we are apart I try to figure out where I should start,
It seems like I've missed days, even weeks sometimes,
I think about you and the questions cascade like a waterfall in my mind,
And always, somehow, I feel so left behind.

You're like a cryptogram, unsolved,
And I can never figure out why all of the letters match up
Except for that one that screws up the whole thing again,
My tongue is tied in knots as I struggle for the words, it's absurd.

When I was a kid, my father used to say I was ungrateful,
I never felt that way, I just had a lot of questions,
Life seemed so puzzling, and it's still a puzzle, often,
But I don't think I'd be happy any other way.

I love you with all my heart, and probably always will,
Because I can't ever know all of your pieces is not a big deal,
What I get from you means so much more,
And anyway, whatever piece I'm missing seems to fit perfect.

Love,
z

The missing piece to someone else's puzzle usually is you.

Waterfall

Pretty as can be
Power is all you can see
Smiling constantly
So, you thought you knew me

Inside I see and feel no beauty
Motivating myself daily to just be
But can anyone see?

Pretty as can be
Power is all you can see
Smiling constantly
So, you thought you knew me

My sadness and depression overflowing
The will not to live continually growing
But all you can see
Is all my glorious beauty

Pretty as can be
Power is all you can see
Smiling constantly
So, you thought you knew me

Fighting off Sticks and stones daily
Drowning hurtful comments constantly
Forced to listen to what people think of me
While I don’t even think of me

Pretty as can be
Power is all you can see
Smiling constantly
So, you thought you knew me

Worth no one’s love
Always alone and way above
Has anyone ever considered that I have had enough?
Life is just far too tough

Pretty as can be
Power is all you can see
So, you thought you knew me

Jealousy killed me

Treasures from Heaven

Just a thought!

Treasures from Heaven

She paints from the heart, loves with her eyes
Creations of color, or lines made of cries
An ocean of moonlight, ships resting on seas
A loft in the forest, fields swept by a breeze.
She captures the sound of a waterfalls mist
Or the Sun’s beating rays, with a stroke of the wrist
There is innocent depth in a sensual stare
Or a child’s warm embrace, nestled close in mother’s care.
The face of an Angel, drawn in mystical haze
Caresses our heart, in such magical ways
Signed works leave us breathless, so touched by a view…
What beautiful dreams, we have seen within you!
