It's now on YouTube.: On the 25th anniversary of 9-11, I recorded a short video of me reading this one in honor of that tragic day. You can watch/hear me read it here: https://youtube.com/shorts/S0epQZticAI
What a hair-raising,: What a hair-raising, acrobatic leap of language you used to bring back memories of my own infernal, insanely glorious youth when love was a charm that could make me profoundly wise or completely mad.
You begin with the delightful, mind-bending dichotomy of universal truths: breathtaking wonders under the guise of the mundane; the all-encompassing quantum field in subatomic particles . . .
What is this sorcery?
The balanced whirlwind of insight when two hearts, two minds, are one and "The order is divine".
And that ending: Golden. Perfect.
Another stunner, my gifted friend.
Thank you endlessly for: Thank you endlessly for scanning the depths of my raw angst and frustration with your luminous eye.
Feel free to disagree any time about anything. I'm honored that you, a savvy and remarkable poet, took the time to plunge right in and emerge with jewels and a personal outlook. I feel privileged to have honesty from an astute deep-diver and exceptional poet.
And I'm always open to the idea that I may not have the complete and broadest perspective. Being open to the uncomfortable fact that I can be (ouch) wrong is the only way I can evolve and explore frontiers of understanding. It's radical and tedious expansion, but it's necessary.
But for now, I bellow and seethe inside my human bubble.
I do appreciate that you have a rare open-mindedness and positive energy that allows you to find value in things others would reject with knee-jerk disagreement. That's enlightenment and it's beautiful and I cherish every word of your comment.
Thank you for your valuable feedback.
I'm incredibly moved by your: I'm incredibly moved by your crystalline analysis of what I intended to convey in my expression. The contemplative beauty and precision in your comment made it clear: you read, I mean, really read, my heart's message.
Huge gratitude for this gift.
I loved every last bit except: I loved every last bit except -
This part
But before I say what it is
It took me out of the gorgeous conundrum of unravelling the mystique of the words the deep meanings and subtle vibes that hummed an almost secret tune. The fluidity and warm honey feeling dripping through the wordsmithship, the sheer togetherness of it and that I wish so hard it was about something else, not that it shouldnt be about this, but the sheer drama and beauty I wanted it to be about well, not that. A truly stunning poem I have pm you the words that I understand need to be there but id like to hear your thoughts on this unusual take of mine missed you heaps write more !
I am praying for your forgiveness, and know that you understand me when others dont :)
Stunning! : All the hidden answers enlightenment, but where beautiful things never die... in your heart thus the most beautiful profound
where everything perfect
never truly died
because,
I will realize,
I never left God.
Just wow. Survival its guttural and introspective as well as retrospective and yet also hopeful and future past present wrapped around forever... something will always survive some mark some exho of existence or is it all imaginary? No is not random enough for that . You know there's more and we wait under the wings for revelation.
10/10
"unlikely treasures” is:
"unlikely treasures” is about the surprising value of abandoned ideas;
of how the creative mind can resurrect what it once threw away and find gold in the rubble.
