Who one day came up with a plan

To find the love he once had 

A love that went bad

With a young woman, he thought he can 

Spent hours browsing online 

Looking at profiles, many so fine 

Said 'I'm not looking for much 

Someone I can reach out and touch 

Someone who I can call mine'

Started chatting with a honey 

He found charming, bright and funny 

But soon discovered her agenda 

She wanted a big spender

To spend some of her time and his money 

The old man, he felt like a fool

Learned a lesson they don't teach in school 

Online, you need to discover 

If searching for a friend or lover
