I am fierce, I am strong

Like the wind I am ungrounded

I have been so all along

With my strength, I am surrounded

I am a butterfly breaking free

No longer in my dark cocoon

I am the last leaf on the tree

Before the decay and the bloom

I am capable and worthy

I am not what trauma defined

I am whole and I'm deserving

To be free from sands of time

Proud I stand atop the mountain

While I look down at things once vast

Climbed my way, drank from the fountain

Its power helped me rise at last

I am fierce, 1 am strong

I am lovable and I am mighty

I have been so all along

And in my freedom, you will find me
