This poem combines the haiku form with the fourteen lines of the sonnet--a poetic marriage of Eastern and Western traditions.

i wrote this poem when i couldnt stop cying at school,in my room and even in my dreams

Yesterday I was challenged to come up with a Haiku on the spot! Here's my efforts! lol

This haiku represents the apparent stillness of a glacier, but although still its full of potential force. Ideas of inactivity vs activity can be seen and shows that one doesn't have to hinder the other. However I am open to suggestions of a different object this represents as it lacks a cold theme to tie in the whole glacier idea.

A simple Haiku describing how a snowflakes life works. Contast between life and inactivity of a snowflake, given through human preception, vs. the actually nature of a snowflake.
