Zombies

the undead

If it talks like it's perfect,

And acts like it's godly,

And whimpers like a weasel,

And always follows the crowd,

And can't think on it's own,

And afraid of it's own shadow and all the imaginary ones,

Let it keep sleeping. It's not even a real human being.

Dead Universe

Folder:
Cthulhu Mythos

We are walking corpses,

Zombies at best

How can I enjoy?

That what falls apart?

Great Pyramid

And feast of Nitokris

The Ghoul-Queen

Married to Kephren.

All are dead, dead,

Nothing alive, so sad.

Gods and man alike

In a murdered universe...

Living Dead

Living Dead

The dirt clods up through my nostrils

As I am lowered into the unfathomable ground

Distant unforgivable violins play their song

Unforgettable notes thin air they slowly drown

The scent of the grass that once was below me

Vanishes as it stands guard above me now

Trying to hold me down like woven thread chains

They seek to confine my soul but it has escaped somehow

I sleep a twinkling then I slowly begin my arise

The motionless marble Angel stands cold above my head

They try to stop me with their incantations and charms

There is no cure for the living once they have been dead

People refuse to learn.

Instead of cherishing

what they have,

they always think

the grass is greener

on the other side,

and the only reason

it looks that way,

is because it's fertilized

with bullshit.

Where have all the smart people gone?

Yig - The Deadly Snake

Folder:
Visions

Yig went out of my head,

Wasn't I so sad?

In me male and female snake,

O Yig, please don't be awake.

Fastly in the taxi they put me

O let dead not have me!

But dead again I went,

This is what Nyarlathotep meant.

O in anger and wrath I don't want to be,

A female snake in each human you see.

So Tawil took them all out,

And dropped to the floor humans about.

Zombies were left on the Earth

Everything dead, everything burned.

Ghosts, robotic humans by aliens controlled,

This story was never before told...

Zombie myth#2 Zombies never attack each other

As the strain adapts and mutates, the new generation of infected will in fact, attack and kill the first generation carrying the older strain, both as a show of dominance but also to do away with those that are weaker to allow the strong to thrive, as proven in the secrete labs which tested different generations of the virus in a kind of micro biological warfare.

Zombie myth#1 Zombies are the dead come back to life

While there have been cases of infected appearing to be dead, they are in fact still alive, though the heart rate can slow to the point of not being registered, they are not the resurrected dead. It has been argued however, that once the affects take hold, they are in fact dead, as the human side ceases to exist and all that is left is a savage, soulless monster that lacks humanity and reasoning.

And they came, having the likeness of death, seeking the untouched,
those not afflicted of the plague;
seeking the the living, that they may devour them.
