And then

Go, where do I go? Where have I landed? I let everything go and now I am stranded all of my loves have left me cold hearted the last of my feelings are in a safe and I locked it to simulate feelings I drink or take mollies amplified but not real depression is morning addiction is easy a love for the moment craving those moments cause inside I'm lonely a child in the darkness who ran from his calling afraid cause his anger did not make him worthy and over the years a persona was born the ying and the yang but they should be one I say I lost and I say I won eternally fighting when will it be done? I'm so close to breaking don't want anymore I'm tired of walking alone on this road.

Angel

Karyn Indursky

There you stand
facing death
as if it's nothing.

There you stand
facing death
forgetting everything.

There you stand
facing death
feeling nothing.

There you stand
facing death
moving past memories into a golden light.

There you stand
facing death
and embracing a whole new world.

May the droplets of tears
bathe the seeds of souls
with layered emotions rippling
blades of grass expressions.

May the drizzling cries
of angels sing softly, gently, soothingly
to those they miss
and grow flowers of memories
painted with lighted faith.

May the skies of heaven
bath the flowers of hearts
spreading seeds of spirituality
into gardens of friendships.

May moistened skies dry
upon finding acceptance and faith
to allow roses to bloom
in God's bed of eternal love.

May God's clouds scurry

Angel's Flight
by Karyn Indursky 01/12/09

From the core of my being
into the depth of your soul
I send you my angel
who can see it all.

From the outskirts of town
to knocking at your door
I send you a guardian angel
to cleanse your soul.

From crests to troughs
taking you for a ride
I send you an angel
as your seat-belt.

From sunshine to blizzards
decorating your home
I send you an angel
to help you bathe in religion.

From children to adults
blessing your life
I send you God's angel
to welcome them.

From birth to afterlife
with God's fatherly touch
I send your winged angels
you simply enjoy as your "friends."

God bless!

Beneath the glistening sky of emotions
tears fall like pieces of hearts
crying over memories.

Beneath the bleary sky of expressions
tears pour like vessels leaking
tarnished trust.

Angels rub your back,
hold your hand,
creep your dreams,
and let you lean on them.

Angels whisper words
of support, encouragement, understanding
to help you preserve and offer guidance.

Angels cry over their crossovers
from being a guardian into crossing
into heaven.

Angels sing, shine their wings
to aiding us through life's obstacles
and for that we are blessed.

Angelic Pink

Karyn Indursky

Velvet heather skies

pour down silky tears

upon soft pink cheeks

to pour out stormy emotions...

Murky expressions ignite blue

turmoil thundering inside the chambered heart

to bleed dark red puddles

of a love lost to loved one's...

Lightening bolts clank clouds

until they plummet down

drenching us with sobbing winds

exposing emotional vulnerabilities...

On her knees, Selena, cries

out all her pain and when

she feels hallow, empty, helpless, and alone

her angels wrap their arms around her

in safety, protection, comfort, support...

Stormy emotions roll with clanking lightening

when memories sail down cashmere skin

until prayers calms her heartache, rugged emotions, and stress.

Angels wrapped Selena in feather soft wings

to save her with the acceptance of God

leading her to a higher existence

to be a pink guardian angel.

Angelic Trails Of Poetry

Angelic Trails Of Poetry

Angelic Trails Of Poetry
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Tis was a orchid night in the echoes of
Princess Bianca's heart with the autumn whisks
riveting through her soul to disperse the sea of emotions
to beckon her hand to write poetry.

Princess Bianca's angelic wings of writing
began to flutter across the sky of creativity
with the flight of imagination beckoning her muse
to let the electric blue cloud thunder down her
face of transcending diction.

Princess Bianca attempted to find refuge
with gentle, subtle imagery, but her memories
cracked their whip of expression
amongst the ripples of imagery.

Like a shooting star, love struck Princess Bianca's
cord as she journeyed through her spirit
to find the pounding cables of liberality
weaving a quilt of freedom.

With the final flick, Princess Bianca's pen
soared with her guardian angel of America's flag
exploring the radiance of a writer's mind.

Anger

I sit as an angry fiery red is seeped over me
my hands tremble and my muscles clench
the anger widens and digs deep
trying to make me believe
this is who I am
A grinch

But no
I watch this anger
I see it for what it is
A past, a conditioned mind
something craving to be indulged in
It lures me with it's judgement and arrogance
I watch
I watch
I watch

And as I watch, the anger is drained
and I come back
to the peace that will never change.

Supposedly every poem deserves a name

for the poem was given life

by imagery, emotions, communication,

but whatever happened to anonymously?

Shall I always post my name

and take credit for every poem

that flows from my fingers

to display my essence to your eyes?

Or maybe I should be a mystery

where you put pieces of a puzzle together

trying to muster up the reason

why every poem must be titled?

What makes a poem name

have meaning and make it more fluent

when it could be freed of

titles, labels, stereotypes, expectations?

Title it.

Don't touch it.

out of control
until the embankments
eat them for a

melting in its mouth sensations
with gingersnap drivers
for a sweet deserts
and blood as cherries
toppings with luscious
snow whip cream
towering to the brim
until its belly
is temporarily satisfied
until next time
when it devours

Another Day

Another Day

Karyn Indursky

I wake to the glistening sun.
My eyes fill with wander.
What shall today bring?
With curiosity, I get up.

My shower is a little hurried.
My clothes go on with ease.
Applying make up takes some extra time.
I barely reach the bus.

Arrival at school goes smoothly.
I greet my friends with a welcoming smile.
Conversation starts with a natural flow of words and gestures.
The sound of the bell breaks it up.

Classes fly by with a feeling of contentment.
Pride fills me like a balloon being blown up.
All I can do is smile.
I made it through another school day.

I stroll to the bus.
Climbing the steps, I greet the bus driver.
I walk to my seat and sit down.
The drive home goes quickly.

I get off the bus.
With pure delight, I run home.
I go inside.
My homework is done with effort and patience.

The phone rings.
The next thing I know is my friends are here.
I leave with them.
We spend hours talking, joking, and laughing.

When I go home, I hug them goodnight.
I discuss my day with myself in my head.
I smile inwardly.
The enchanting smile lights up my face.

I go to my bedroom.
I get ready for bed slowly.
I lay in my bed.
Before I close my eyes to sleep, I thank God for another day.

This is the First poem I had published in a newspaper.

another life obstacle

A flow of confusion comes across her mind,
Searching for an answer one cannot find.

Going into a risky situation almost blind,
With an expectation that two souls eventually will be entwined.

A broken heart and torn soul searching for love,
Making reckless decisions in an attempt to find that one sent from above.

Love it may have become but the way it was done was wrong,
In a desperate attempt to find out where one belongs.

The one who fears change the most has sacrificed it all,
Only praying he will catch her when eventually she does fall.

Big dreams and or plans that are so far out of reach,
But the importance it has to her she would preach.

A little boy her flesh and blood,
Everytime she leaves has to hold back tears threating to spill out like a flood.

The danger of a razor or a bottle of pills,
dangerous thoughts of one with depression is what kills.

Left alone to dwell in ones sorrow,
The pain thats bottled up with no hope for tomorrow.

Holding on for everyone else sake,
For a selfish decision she does not want to make.

For if it is her own life she does take,
She does not want to be responsible for anothers mistake.

The weight apon her shoulders is almost to much to bare,
He does not put challenges that we cannot face but how is this fair.

Within an inch of her life he expects her to put down the knife,
Pick herself up only to deal with all this strife.

The love from another and her reciprocated feelings has kept her strong,
But without her son something still feels wrong.

I guess she'll have to wait it out,
She really does love him without a doubt.

For all the sacrifices she has made,
Her love for him still does not fade.

Sometimes she wonders if he feels the same,
Cause to her this is real it isn't a game.

So she will pick up and once again fight,
For everything she cares for she will make it right.

Apart

I feel the tears of loss touch my eyes

The weight of sadness upon my soul

I looked around and saw that you were gone

Had my eyes been closed in the darkness?

I was hiding from my pain

Dug in so deep, I could not see the world

You were gone so suddenly, and I know

I failed you

I will never feel the same again

There will be a hole in my heart forever

It is filled with my mistakes

My regrets haunt me at night and keep me awake

I failed you

I let you go when I should have held you close

I should have loved you more

How blind I was to your sadness and fear

I did see your pain

I did not know how to reach you

I failed you

There is no mercy for me in my own heart

Nothing that can right the wrong I feel I did

I failed you

So now, I have to live with my selfdoubt and regrets

I love you as only a father can love a daughter

I will try my best

To never, fail you again

across the sky of creativity
with sparkling stars painting
her poetry.

Sparkling stars began to glow
with gemstone imagery,
which signaled Prince Aphrodite
to rustle his footprints of
famous zodiac chariots into
Dove's romantic heart.

Poetess Dove's eyes began to whittle
poetry with Prince Aphrodite
and etched their love affair

were thrown in appreciation
at the splendorous lines
woven into their souls.

Apollo's Chariot

Apollo's Chariot

Apollo's Chariot
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

In a banana boat Prince Apollo sat
Under Hera's scorn of fury,
which scorched his eyes with passion...

He did not know where he should go,
So, Hera used her GPS to find the nearest mall
And got lost in a traffic jam, the GPS was wrong.

Despite all the mean looking eyes at the wrong turn...
To the mall, they were headed, but lost in the fray
A firey inferno did barracade their way, stuck, but
Safe with all the company, that make us feel like us.

It was Hera's wrath that did bring this reign of fire
jealous of the burning sun taking Apollo's time
and with this myth, the gods are trapped in rhyme
stuck in a rythym that won't speed up or give a damn
paced by the tempo of the myth lain in our hands
as the trials of destiny must be played again and again.

And so the story plays, from Hera's hateful sense
Apollo's sense of duty to the slowly dying sun
driven across the sky never looking back only by
wheels of imagination fueling his chariot
can they ever truly be together alone
and choked on this idea so unfulfilling
imagining for just one moment's hope
in hopes that thoughts are willing
for two brothers kings in ransom
a love match unwilling a feud of unliving.

Zeus with Haides will not go un served;
the costume party was over back to reality
the fire sales were on and she needed a new style,
but she was no fashion expert
and found the most hideous costume...

She looked like a Medussa and she acted like one too.
Apollo whose name was really Harry thought so too!
She should have left the snakes in chains
AND chose a suit that really fit her name
but alas there was no one elese to blame.

So Harry had to tell her how he felt again.
"My dear, Hera, such fire in your eyes
If Zeus ever caught us, I'll wish that I could die!
He'll tie you to a rock and pluckout your insides!
I know you must wear costumes,
but why is this the one you'd choose?"

"Because my stupid big dumb ox its the only one...
Can't you see that can hide my kiss and deceive?
Besides if Biff wants to dress up as Zeus to impress,
I really don't care for a man in a dress, I want my Trojan...
And I'm one with the warrior inside,
to fondle with my undress-me mind to find
a warrior in life-
for an opportunity to shine
in this Olympic fight-
tickling a gladiator's mind
and poetry will take home the victory."

Apology?

Apology?

Karyn Indursky

I'm sorry I kept you waiting...
How long were you waiting...
Something came up...
I had such a great time last night...
I lost track of time...
Don't worry. I'll call you next time...
I lost your number...
Write down your digits again...
I forgot you were in my cell phone...
I'm sorry for interrupting you, but...
I was so plastered last night...
The guys and I...
I picked up these people...
It was my friend...
The damn dog...
I forgot all about you...
I was going to surprise you, but...
You should've been there. We...
My cell was on vibrator...
I didn't feel it go off...
I didn't hear my phone ringing...
The cat knocked the phone off the hook...
I was on the other line...
I was busy making plans...
I never saw someone hold their alcohol like that...
I'm drunk, but I can still come get you...
What did you say you wanted...
Are you mad...

Author's Notes/Comments:

Here's a clue guys...if you fucked up, owe up to it and when you do apologize...mean it! Think about how you'd feel if told you we'd call or we'd do something, but instead we didn't and pretended a sincere apology or just forgot about you. Dedicated to my friend, Candace, and all the rest of us who have ever dealt with this shit.

She can't even sleep

Waking dreams are taking over her soul

She's lost control of herself

The fog has thickened in the house of mirrors

and she doesn't like what she sees

Imagery is twisted in there

making a mockery of her face

Dream, dream, let's change the scene

lucidity, please come to me

Wake me up from this waking dream

In front of an orchestra
stands form fitting silk
showing off tantalizing curves
long forgotten about by
this young woman wearing
her silhouette black hair
down for once before
she's ordering instrumentalists to
blend their harmonies together
beautifully like fluttering butterflies
while her leather strapped
feet tap out beats
rhythmically without stage freight
when a standing ovation
awaits their rehearsed blue
songs fading subtly into
applauding memories.

Ice tea eyes shine with mushroom slices
falling lightly on black cherry embroidered
silk flowing around breasts, curves, hips
as elegant rhinestone strapped high heels
dance rhythmically to jazz spilling out
of painted lips while soprano vocal chords
entwine swingy blues tunes into throaty
song lyrics before gripping the microphone
when both baby powder hands feel sweaty
emotions pour out of ocean blue-green eyes
fluttering closed like curtains drawn
until this crescendo sonata is over
and she's whisked back into
applauding reality.

Appreciation Of Wildlife

Appreciation Of Wildlife

Karyn Indursky

Fluttering butterflies set us free
by their carefree life styles of
exploring our wondrous nature without
getting tainted by little children chasing
after them like dreams to hold onto with
their sticky candy fingers smiling warmly
upon them sitting upon flower petals
for their thrones as they watch us
adore their rainbow assorted wings
longingly before we walk away empty handed
when we allow them to give us
appreciation of wildlife.

Approaching War

Approaching War

Karyn Indursky

Approaching war with hostility
for life and death lie on fortified lines
with bombs booming everywhere
as scurrying animals find no place to hide
like us, the predators, seeking shelter
from our attacking terrorists storming
over our earned freedom, liberality, happiness
to destroy our territory, population, country
in all ways feasible for they don't care
the lives the claim in hatred or the love lost
upon shattered grounds where blood paints
a new story of history in the years to be learned
about in years to come by our offspring,
if we live long enough to make them,
which is why it's our time to
unite, fight, conquer as a team, army, country
today, tomorrow, the days to come
by the love of God we will prevail
in showing, earning, claiming what it ours
through our many obstacles to come
from this day forward until we win
for the United States of America
is not number two or three or down the line,
but we, the United States of America,
are number one.

Are you angry?

I'm angry

Bitter

And cold

Judgements pour from me like slippery is the soap

Hatred fuels my muscles

My structure is flawed

Frail

And will soon fall

Will soon fail

In the debris what will I see but broken memories?

What will be left

in the turmoil I coil under the pressure

Truth burns my soul like hot oil

Or is that my mind

What is my bind?

Growth has begun

My head has been spun

Like the price is right

I hope it hits this time the sun

If not

I may just buy a gun

Nah not really

But seriously where is the one

that connects us all

that directs the fish to swim and humans to talk

Aren't titles really the misleading thing

There are most likely a variety of knots
lying in each of our hearts
But with all these knots they relate in one way
they are you not
Accumulated past scooped into a ball of pain
Sitting in you
Day by day increasing in strain
Straining to the point that it turns your brain
from sane to in
Flipping your sight inside out

It feels like you're lost
You wander through plains of emptiness feeling sad
Like a ghost
Your existence orbits around bad
You think you've lost something you've had
When you had nothing all along
You believe you're weak
when you are strong

Well I'm here to say it's a crock
you're just fine
and it's all being watched
Dive into your own love that isn't so separate at all
Its not too short it's not too tall
It's just a ball of humor sitting in a rocking chair
smoking a pipe laughing at our actions
Let yourself become so bare
That you laugh at our distractions
Distractions from that which is always there
Space and life, being height. Vast and right
Nothings wrong all is fine
If I die tomorrow I'd be free

No one looks for pictures in the dark clouds

Artificial

I’m looking through my window at this artificial world

With its artificial lies

With its artificial flavoring

That in my mind built it up so high

It was my temporary bliss

An artificial dream

I reached for the stars

Only to find it broken at the seams

My artificial world

Full of my child-like desires

So wrapped up in nonsense and melancholy

That I forgot to put out the artificial fire

The artificial love

That had once touched my steady beating heart

Sneakily, tricked it into believing

To deviously tear it apart

All just a lie

To make me believe I was special

Make me feel alive

Until the day I realized everything was artificial.

Artificial Fairytale

I don’t want to mean something,

I want to feel something,

Rub that thought from the waking day,

But carry on dreaming, all the same.

Well you were right, I was wrong,

Keep your love in a locket, so no emotion can be harmed.

You carry on smiling; I keep my whiskey hidden in the drawer,

I’m an organised mess, so think of another story.

You’ve aimed your arrow,

But you’ve missed the point.

We keep on moving, but never left the start.

You are Snow White, and I am the apple,

Woken only by the kiss of another.

As You Were

Walking backward is a skill

  Thrill for those who aquire

   Tiresome for those who fail

    Ails those who desire feeling

     Dealing with cowards

Words stumbling over their own tails

Rails to keep them from the edge

Wedge a key in the lock

         Shock each envious eye

Buy happiness through the forbidden door

           Or the key is worthless

Mess, everyone is a mess, each smile fake

          Take a borrowed heart

         Start shocking for a while

        Smile like a stolen kiss

       Bliss comes from happiness

      Dress up manequins as bait

     Wait, wait, wait longer

Stronger, they will come to steal

Real, its all real, they will shock

Unlocking treasured doors with stolen keys

Be as you were

Shall I compare thee poetry to leaves?

Thy leaves art more fragile and pretty.

When it opens to let butterflies land

thy leaf habitat is thee perfect place

for shading from sun's rays in high demand

amongst ladybugs sharing with pure grace.

Thy treasured paradise becomes fan

for thou Queen Bee expects grand leaf mission

when baby bees art her servant day plan

letting be thee clear blue air condition

Thou green leaf slowly begins to crumble

for its use wilted the delicate skin

nature and far more useful than poetic mumbles

upon thy face shall be wearing a grin.

until scrutinized beneath microscopic
eyes analyzing and reaching deep within
one's soul for finding the meanings
beyond superficial values, beauty, abstraction
out of scraps of rolling ideas
mounded together by tumbling into each other
to create a large disaster or what
you see as mass confusion of lyrical rhythms
washing away riming poetry for words
seeping out from free-verse poetic spirits
in making you a part of the whole
poetic painting before we crash
into God's splendor of mysteries.

Waltzing your pen across parchment
as you bring your love of nature
to life with seemingly simplicity.

Caressing your poetry into canvas
as you paint pictures of whimsical fantasies
stroke by stroke until it's roaring with life.

Beating your poetry into wood
as you sculpt a creature to represent
on aspect of what inspires you.

Holding onto a microphone
as you perform your poetry
and make your audience mesmerized.

Singing a solo or duet before
a sold out audience and having
them hear your artistry.

Playing the piano for a play
you wrote while the world melts
away and your essence takes center stage.

Taking every element of who you are
and not displaying them in bland ways,
but unique masterpieces igniting reactions.

Awareness

The scent of rain hangs over me
Yet here it is completely dry

Silence is carrying every sound to me
once it arrive simultaneously it leaves

The dirty clouds dim the suns power
leaving this land in relaxed dark shadows

Absolutely no breeze
leaving my ears in complete relief

The sun now blinding
I now only see the mountains vast outline

A jogger runs by, loud footsteps to faint
Each of which take place in grace

I observe my bikes shadow and my own
both cast from objects both unowned

An easy mellow presence
drips fully into my heart
An indescribable essence
We were all from the start.

Upon her wooden stool

singing about her secret crush
when in his band she won't sing,
but his singer will as she hangs
in the background wondering
what it'd be like to have him
for her own and for him to know
the meaning beyond her song.
Upon her wooden stool
she sits strumming her guitar
with her rhythmic body surging
electricity from mere thoughts
of what his body would feel like
beneath her soulful fingers and
how tasty his lips would be
for satisfying her yearning desires.
Upon her wooden stool
she sits strumming her guitar

I remember when Barbie solved everything.
I played with that plastic fickle blonde headed
doll like there was no tomorrow because to me
there was none.
I had to be her to get away.
I had to have that hourglass figure and hair.
I had to be pretty, popular, loved, and care free.
God knows I wasn't, but I tried to be.
I took that doll and played for hours.
I pretended I was her with her looks,
her hair, her personality, and all.
I pretended I was with her friends,
and had her boyfriend.
I pretended I was an adult with a high paying career.
I pretended I was anywhere, but where I was.
I pretended to be Barbie.

Caress his face.
Smack his butt.
Tell him his mommy loves him.
Lie about me.
Help him out.
Steal from him.
Hold his hand.
Call him names.
Make him smile.
Make him cry.
Hear him laugh.
Let him scream.
Give him food and drink.
Make him go hungry.
Change his diapers.
Leave him unattended.
Teach him things.
Don't play with him.
Read to him.
Don't hug him.

Call us.
Don't contact us.
Do this.
Don't do that.
Be my friend.

May our prayers
touch the ears of God,
but also the hearts of those

Let the power of faith
lift our spirits
into the clouds of
emotional support.

Allow your prayers
to come from the depth
of not only your heart,
but your soul.

Grant us the courage to pray
honestly, sincerely, solemnly
and not miss the signs
of answered prayers.

Accept God is our savior.
Never doubt His listening.
Don't give up on answers.
God blesses us daily...

Outside in the wilderness
bears roar with hunger
not for food, but for dancing.
Beneath the royal purple twilight
of purring kitchens rubbing
against pant and stocking legs,
bears switch partners
like chickens square dancing
one more time for bedtime fun.
Preceding going to feather pillow
comfort, these dancing machines
dance naked as beautiful
peacocks for making lovely
wilderness poetry.

Beautify

Beautify

By Karyn Indursky

We try and we try to beautify.
We do our make up with effort, care, precision.
We make it look just right for the image
society wants.
We take care of our hair day in, day out
for the world to see the image created
while we still feel empty.
We dress for success
or rather confirming to fit in
or purposely pretending to be a "freak"
for extra attention...
just from make up, hair, and clothes.
It's only our personalities
no one knows by our selections of what's exposed.
Have we really achieved
what we want by trying to
beautify?

Beauty is something I can find far and wide.
Beauty is something I can dream of day and night.
Beauty is something I can appreciate all year round.
Beauty is something I can misplace without
realizing I'm doing it.
Beauty is something I can think I see, but am wrong.
Beauty is something I can find in all
the wrong places and people.
Beauty is something I can see at the wrong times.
Beauty is something I can see, but can't feel or have.

Beauty is swept into your words
as you dare embrace them to
describe your most sacred, precious memories
that evoke your raw emotions until
you're at the point of no return.
You're standing bare naked as you bared everything
to the one you love and now poetry readers,
but you're not scared of what might nip at you
because no longer are you scared after your
true love reciprocated your feelings of passion.
Never will the memories die or go unappreciated
when you have the greatest gift of all...love.

Beavis' Poetry Workshop

Beavis' Poetry Workshop

Beavis' Poetry Workshop
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Once upon a time
Beavis was hosting
a Poetry Workshop...

At the table sat
Smoothie, Rabbit, Rhythm, and Poetrywings
with brewing minds,
creative imagery,
and rivers of inspiration.

Rabbit used her napkin
to wipe droplets of poetry
from her mouth and she borrowed
Smoothie's i-pod to
incorporate her ideas.

Smoothie sipped a black-cherry martini
with Beavis using his tablet
to jolt down their perceptions.

Dove swooshed in on her flight
of rhymes and hopeless romantic heart
to help etch a love affair
into the souls of the readers.

Rhythm sent Poetrywings
a private message to
collaborate their input,
blend the flavors of personalities,
tweak formats, and slap a title upon it.

Become a Pastafarian

Its time to spread the word

of the great Flying Speghetti Monster

Who boiled for your sins.

Each time he comes around

just open up your mouth

and he will nourish your hungry belly.

He won't eat up your wealth.

He'll just fill you up.

So you can go on with life.

When hard, he never spoils.

He softens when he boils.

His meatball heart, a delicious scent.

The FSM is benevolent.

So join me friends, let us worship him.

Praise the great FSM!

For He just filled us up again.

Cleansing us from all our sins.

sits a boy with tousled acorn brown hair
watching sings sing jazz songs
while squirrels play tag
as his kitten playfully bats at butterflies
or finds a toad to torment
with jumping  grasshopper's being seen
through his zooming binoculars
without noticing before he
scribbles notes in a journal
next to his artist drawings capturing
his dragonfly blue eyes perspective
of willingly embracing opportunities of
becoming one with nature.

Beddy-bye

Karyn Indursky

Lay down to rest my beloved child of God, angels, and the heavens.
Let your body soar to the white fluffy sweet marshmallows
that will take you anywhere you want to go.
Taste the sweet candy of dreams coming true and fantasies, too.
Smell the red, pink, blue, lavender, white, purple,
and dark red roses to remind you of the glorious smells
and pleasures of a simpler life upon those marshmallows.
Feel the marshmallows below your bare feet and dance
like you never have before with an open heart and free soul.
Hear the laughter and join in to feel your spirit being lifted.
See what can be, what can't be, but would be nice, and
what may be someday in this magical world.
Touch the velvet curtains that part being awake and asleep.
Go in now for it is time for you to go beddy-bye.

but holds you close when it rains
until budding hearts
exert a petal soft kiss.

With your union
you become a relationship garden
to grow, nurture and flourish
into a bouquet of engagement.

upwards until bending to hold
a nylon foot in robot rhythm
and backwards she bends
until shrimp red hair touches
oil black wire preceding
fully extending satin wrapped arms
to touches nylon tipped toes
ever so easily when suddenly
she spins like a ballerina
with standing on strong tip toes
between her gymnastic back-flips
repeatedly while maintaining balance
expertly before doing a
split with scissor sharp actions
upon rotating her satin hips
in spinning around gracefully
all over again beneath unwavering
eyes drinking every straddle
presented effortlessly without
missing her precise dancer
leaps, jumps, twirls, bends
displayed with her delicate hands
from her high wire
carelessly before firmly gripping

masterfully doing a backham string

Together, we stand upon the mountain top
looking for our tomorrow and what it will bring.
I pray for you. You pray for me. We pray for the world.
Together, we stand upon the mountain top

We look at each other with a knowing of

Best Friend Values

Best Friend Values

Best Friend Values
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Once upon a time
Princess Mia was crying
with the rhythm of her emotions
rolling down her face...

Teardrops fell softly down her
cashmere face while her
hands began to shake,
her eyes started to dialate,
and her leg felt like twitching....

Prince Garrett was her friend,
who offered a compassionate shoulder
with open eyes to soak up
her tormented soul....

Princess Mia wasn't used to be
able to have a friend to cry upon,
but was internally grateful to
have found a true friend....

Prince Garrett gave her some
milk with some peanut butter crackers
to help her balance her sugar
while listening to her
pour her heart....

Princess Mia was thankful
to have a non-judgmental, warm-hearted
friend with such an enchanting spirit
to offer unconditional friendship.

Prince Garrett was amazing
and didn't want more than her
to feel better, help her, and console her,
which was the value of best friends.

caught by the spider
of society
where I'm unsure
where I belong.

Struggling in the tug-of-war
of stereotypical hypes
defining my status
as a poetess
when I'm not "Gothic."

Torn as a paper
being shredded by sizes
where I'm too fat
to be "pretty."

Crumbling like cookies
being eaten by savaging spectators
who mock medical conditions,
but make no effort to "see."

Rebuilding my faith
from internal strength
invoked by God, my son, friendship
and the potential of a new destination.

and so is the ride
each moment is imbued
with a peaceful tide of aliveness

Every intrusive thought that invades
is clearly conveyed as nothing
and is thus faded away
with no belief there is no sting.

Big Milk Mustache Smiles (haiku)

Big Milk Mustache Smiles (Haiku)
Karyn Indursky

Snatching fresh cookies
is a must with alluring
scents filling the air.

Scents filling the air
makes their tongues salivate in
anticipation.

Anticipation
leads crumbs to awaiting floors
while chipmunk cheeks bulge.

While chipmunk cheeks bulge
warnings are given to be
careful of choking.

Careful of choking
chunks of tender morsels glide
down their tiny throats.

Down their tiny throats
are clean, but not their grimy
chocolate lip grins.

Chocolate lips grins
match small grubby chocolate
hands holding a glass.

Hands holding a glass
raise it to their thirsty mouths
for drinking some milk.

For drinking some milk
refreshes them while giving
needed nutrients.

Needed nutrients
help growing bodies, but leaves
big milk mustache smiles.

Binary App 810 Review, Is Binary App 810 Really Work?

STOP - Make sure you check my in-John Callaghan's Binary App 810 System Review Before you get a copy of Binary App 810 Software...

In case you want to earn profits with the money already earned, by making investments, the Insured Binary Profits Software can be a good choice to go for, but you need to understand in detail what the software is all about, how it works, what is the success rate and would it be worth to you.

Binary App 810 is simple Binary option trading software, it is very easy to install on your desktop, and you just need to download it on your desktop. The experienced traders would find very easy to deal with this software, it works on guesses. One needs to guess whether as asset’s value would be increased or decreased after a while. This software makes it possible for you to avail all the trading things at one place, the indicators etc. and everything and you would need to wander on several websites.

How Does the Binary App 810 Work?

The working of the Binary App 810 is fairly easy. There are two tabs provided “Call” and “Put.” When a traderguess that the price of the asset is going to increase, he can press the “Call” tab and if the value is expected to go down, the “Put” tab can be pressed. It is as simple as that, no extra tabs and not much clutter. Once you have pressed the tab you feel like, you would be told to wait for 60 seconds, after which the results would appear.

How much can you earn?

If you are good at trading and this guessing game, you would; just need to spend a few minutes of yours on this software and you would be able to make as much as $2000 per day. The best part about this system is that it is free of cost for a certain period of time and the starting investing amount is not fixed. So, you can try your luck with a minimum amount.

The system is not like all the other Binary App 810 scams in the market, which would promise to make you rich within days. They don’t promise you this because they know it’s not possible. The only promise that they make is not to keep you waiting for the results. You would just need to wait for 60 seconds and the results would be there in front of you, not even a single second more.

>>> Click Here To Get Instant Access To Binary App 810 <<<

What do the Tests Reveal?

The software has been put to test by multiple firms and the results are amazing. The software really works and you can really earn from your investments this time. If you do everything right, making $2000 from $20 is not going to be a big deal and you might even earn more in the future. If you are still not convinced that this software is different from other fraud software available in the market, you can check out its reviews on the top authorized websites, and you would find that it has got the highest hits.

The approval rate of the Binary App 810 is 98%, so you can say that it is worth it. You can check the Binary App 810 review on authenticated websites. However, whether you get success or not, would depend on some factors. The number of the trades that you take, the signal probability rate of the trades and the initial deposit with which you start trading would make the difference. If you spend just 15 minutes on the software per day for a week, that is 15 trades in a day, which accounts to around 100 trades a week, you can easily make up to $700 per week.

Should you go for it?

There are various advantages of the software which convince you to go for tit. For example, the software claims to be a highly profitable one and it certainly is. The users of the software have revealed that 91% of the days are profitable ones with the software. Talking about the votes, you would find out that this is the best voted binary options investment software, easy to install and easy to operate with. The software is fully automatic and using it is even easier because of this feature. Just a simple click on pone of the tabs and a little waiting, nothing more than that.

Roll It Over for the Greatest Profits Ever!

Further, earning is substantial. By just spending your free time on this software per day, you would be able to make huge profits and within a few days, you would start to see the difference. Another good thing about the software is that it comes with a brilliant customer support. The team operates 7 days a week from 8 AM to 10 PM EST. So, you don’t understand what to do with the software, just give them a call and they would explain it all.

While the advantages of the software suggest that you should definitely go for it and try it once, there is one disadvantage associated with it as well, that is the risk factor. Though you can make a lot with this software, you can also lose a lot if you luck is not right. However, we suggest that you do not over-trade in the starting days and everything would be fine.

Start with an initial deposit which you can afford to lose. That’s the trick you want to get adapted to and then, you would not have to worry about a thing. There are so many special bonuses that you would get in the way, so give this software a consideration.

Bitter winters Heart

It is ruined

Lead to it's death

By a bitter winters heart

Flayed

Layed open for all to see

The feelings once common

No longer shared in communion

I see nothing in your eyes but confusion

A love lost, was it an illusion?

So little of you remains

No smile

To remind me

Of what was and what has gone

The death throes rack my heart

Leaving it raw and shredded

Blood covering everything

Drowning any desire to believe

Sometimes I can scarcely catch a breath

The pain in my chest too much

All is lost

I grieve you

If only you could be brave and come along

Find your voice and speak of it....

Let your demons go and let your heart be renewed

Bit by bit you have torn yourself from me

Closing the doors behind you as you run

The end is angry and filled with rage

You no longer can find a calm place of respite

A sadness overwhelms me....

Even as I look forward

I will miss you and miss you, I already do

I know the freedom that awaits

The new beginning

Painful at the start

The hardest part

A gradual awakening

Then a new dawning of love

Once again set free to seek

I will search for a tender heart

Of grace and empathy

Passion and sincerity

A muse

One to hold it all in her hand....

Gently, patiently and lovingly

I wish you could come along again

Be free with me

Black Crow (Abstract)

Black Crow (abstract)

Karyn Indursky

Flapping my wings I glide with
autumn winds as colors turn brighter
on your beautiful tree outside
before I land upon your branch
to spy on you through your windows
with my eyes voluminously laughing at your clumsiness
and off I go into blistering winter nights
after your dear husband tries shooting me again
without triumph and I graciously leave him
a special treat upon his car's windshield
for I am your beloved...

Ivory hands hold a sage green stem
with leaves of versatility
drawing your eyes upward
to black velvet petals
surrounding ruby red seeds

perplexing your emotions
and perception watching it
wilt at night, but open its petals
to blossom among shooting stars

after wishes have been made
and the ruby red seeds twinkle
as the poetess transforms
into a fairy to fly to her Land Of Animation.

Blame

Blame

By Karyn Indursky

Blame is the invisible antagonist
that probes at our being day in and day out
in good times and in bad, but it matters not how much we
try because it's always there to eat at us
inch by inch. Day in, day out.
It eats away like there is no tomorrow because
as it eats at us it takes away our tomorrow.
What do we care if there's no tomorrow
when all we have to look forward to is being put
through the hells of Earth's creatures
eating, gnawing at us? Day in, day out.
We seek guidance, but pull away immediately as we
get scared and don't know if we can handle
not knowing what we're doing or what's going
to happen day in, day out.
Blame is there to destroy us. Day in, day out.

my crushed velvet

endless possibilities being
presented vividly to
me after I
thought you were
a fading daydream
without any hope
of blessing me
with my summer
flower budding its
nectar for you
as we let
our lightning-bug spirits
begin glowing when
we tenderly kiss
beneath our twinkling

All the things you say
weigh far more than you realize
when it destroys innocent people
by taunting them with negativity's
instead of you taking time to praise
what is done correctly
or made your smile
as your bulldozing comments
are killing internality's before
you dare opening yourself to
realizing you vanquished every meaningful relationship
you possessed in the heat of your
blazing words.

Blessed With Unconditional Love

Karyn Indursky

Better than the sophisticated man
dressed in his scrubs
is the man, who
possesses more than money
when it comes to
giving her cherished gifts
without asking for anything
in return of his
love, support, loyalty, devotion
as he slides his
arms around her waist
not to pressure her,
but to hug her
tightly in his arms
for all of eternity
when he graces her
life everyday not taking
things away from her
as tokens of dominance
while giving her back
stolen pieces of her
broken heart to fill
gradually as she begins
opening her heart to
him  until together they're
blessed with unconditional love.

Blessings

Blessings

Karyn Indursky

Blessings are given to us everyday.
Large or small is not the matter at hand.
What holds importance is that they're there.

People complain about their lack of miracles.
If they'd lose their ignorance, they'd see miracles constantly.
Neglecting to be observant is not God's fault.

When miracles are noticed or told, people try to make fools of the witness.
The only fool, though, is the person poking fun at someone else's expense.
Liberality should be sought, not shoved away to rot like useless rubble.

So, instead of seeing just enough to survive, try drinking in the whole picture.
Perception is one of the vital keys to knowledge.
Count all your blessings as to put an end to your naked eye sight of the world with all it has to offer.

but you still say im great

it melts my eyes with acidic tears

and rips my veins with its control

but im still wonderful

No matter what the word is

I am now bleeding on the outside

It doesn’t matter how the good words sound

My blood is now making puddles all around

Because of the use of words you used

I now lay here in my blood dying

Bloody Mary At The Poet's Convention

Bloody Mary At The Poet's Convention

Bloody Mary At The Poet's Convention
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Once upon a time
Rabbit had a Halloween Party...

Rabbit was dressed
like Princess Belle
with Dove wearing
her Klondike bar costume...

Rhythm was writing
a song in his Captain Hook attire
with Beavis sporting his
George-Of-The-Jungle costume.

At the bar sat Ms. Smoothie
wearing her Butterscotch Rum
costume texting Captain Hook
with her poetic lines
adding flavors of inspiration.

Ashes showed up as Superwoman
bringing Free-Spirited-Wolf wearing her
Cinderella gown and together
poetry flowed like a rainbow.

As the poem started to take form
the door-bell rang with Silver-Lining
wearing his Rambo costume
to help us chisel with
CactusWoman on his arm
in her Lady Bug costume to
balance out the masculinity
with her femininity.

Yakatie_Miranda got a page
from her sister, Lady Bug,
and showed up to add some
amazing lines in her
Maya Angelou costume
increasing the inspiration
juices pouring onto the pages.

Cell phones, notebooks, and napkins
overflowed with creativity, imagery, art
until a collaborative poem was created
by some of the best poet hands and minds.

    Our friendship is a rose

but those thorns will prick you
    from time to time...

    Our friendship is a rose
    for it's gorgeous appearance
    warms our hearts
    like a hug...

    Our friendship is a rose
    growing from fertilized soil
    of honesty with gentle
    touches of diction
    to sprout leaves...

    Our friendship is a rose
    and when is full bloom
it's as special as you and me.

Blooming Rain

Karyn Indursky

Wearing willow tree umbrellas
ginkgo flip-flop feet scamper
across red maple tree grass
while white peach tree giggling
erupts from orange tree lips
in harmony with evergreen tree fingers
tickling palm tree fabric
until broad oak tree smiles
wipe away cedar tree raindrops
for God's rubber tree rainbow
above a simple apple tree flower.

Blossoming Sunflower Smile

Blossoming Sunflower Smile

Karyn Indursky

True love doesn't jingle
upon your wrist like a bracelet
nor does it shine as a diamond
on  your delicate finger
or tap you on your shoulder
for sweet nothings
when honesty pours into your
tea cup eyes to fill
a thirst not for lines
beneath a sexual motive
scratching its sharp nail with temptation
into your tainted skin of
desires going into seeing
that special, alluring, compassionate someone
wiping your nose while you cry
along with loaning you an ear
after you've made a shirt soaked
below your salty tears
slowly decreasing from gentle
finger wiping them away
and giving you back  your
blossoming sunflower smile.

Blue Eyed Poetry

Blue Eyed Poetry

Karyn Indursky

Through my eyes
the lines of words
get blurry.

Through my eyes
the views of friendships
are shaded, blended, accented.

Through my eyes
the glimpse of art
is beautiful, inspirational, captivating.

Through my eyes
the sight of emotions
are confusing, bewildering, perplexing.

Through my eyes
the world is a canvas
to be sculpted, molded, painted
with poetic depth,
expressive perception,
and displayed creatively.

Blue Eyed Wonder

Blue Eyed Wonder

Karyn Indursky

He's my blue eyed wonder
from his conception to
our present day 18 month year old gift
from our Lord above,
who made him with love,
to bless us all
as he eagerly learns
new things and speaks
in his zest for life
without our adult tainted
views, opinions, feelings
before he loses innocence
towards the world's inhabitants
for his brilliant being
embraces all we offer
and give to him;
my nephew, their son, your neighbor
everyday to watch
him absorb our "mysteries"
perplexing his understanding
every now and then,
but as he grows
he'll become aquatinted
while never acquiring
all the knowledge,
which only God possesses,
but he will remain my
blue eyed wonder.

Author's Notes/Comments:

My nephew, Logan, is one of the most delightful gifts from God for whom I wrote this poem.

Blue Ink Gratitude

blue ink gratitude

Karyn Indursky

blessed are my thoughts

spinning out poetry

to writing ink blue hues

amongst parchment leisure

absorbing my riddle

what underlines and defines

what i'm trying to portray

as you rake your brain

trying to rip my poem

apart at its seams

only to be flustered

because you can't grasp

the depth of my heart

and you find yourself

fixing what you tried to ruin

by misunderstandings and assumptions

but in strife you can carry on

the burdens of a confused reader

until you stumble in the reality

poems have no right or wrong interpretations

for each person gets something different

like a special prize

to be cherished and the day your poet

inspires you is the day

there is full gratitude

Thy season of expression is perplex

unlike green leaves blowing in the light breeze

singing melodies of complexities

Your eyes are a soft slumbeirng dark blue

with pools of emotion simmering down

while your shaded character makes a hue

far more beautiful than oak tree brown

As long as the sun sets my tranquil days

I will always be caught in your blue haze.

like the humble flight of an bald eagle

Blurred Man

Blurred Man

Karyn Indursky

Closing my eyes wishing
to the meet man in my dreams...

To look into those eyes
of love, compassion, intrigue
would make my ivory cheeks blush,
and wish for a butterfly kiss.

To smell his cologne,
hear his voice,
touch his heart,
and be wrapped
in his arms would be
my treasured gift...

But it's to no avail
when there is no man
slowing dancing with me
nor watching a movie to cuddle
or desiring me for his own.

Looks like crazy toy.

Plucking flowers. Give

Singing your heart.out.
Holding the microphone. No

Announcing your love

watch the person leave.

Crying inwardly.
Living a lie. Knowing you

Behind a spouse. You

searching for cleaner waters

swimming through muck

filled ponds of thought and desire

Stuck in my own old stuff

and bored

Boredom Rings...

Boredom Rings...

By Karyn Indursky

Boredom rings
loud and clear
to not you, but me.
This ringing
mounts and rises
to make me combustible.
If this ringing
does not relent,
my head, heart, body
will erupt into ashes
upon my floor
of never-ending boredom!

Born to be lonely

I've been livin' for 13 years and I've had no fears, I've been lonely since tbe day I was born and have not heard a single horn. When I go to school it's just like I'm not there, and that's not cool, to not be treated fair.I feel like I was born to be lonley, cause I am the only whos treated lime a bear and that doesn't makes it fair, I always ask my self, who am I to the world, from what I see, I am nothing to the world, people never get, the just don't see whats right and whats wrong and where they belong, finnaly I realized that I was borned to be lonely, and have no fears.

Bow to the Dead... (Based on 9/11)

Bow to the dead
for they've taught us
patriotism and nationalism
not to be forgotten or ignored or avoided,
but rather embraced.

Bow to the dead
for they've taught us
to stand up not only for ourselves,
but also our nation
with the utmost pride.

Bow to the dead
for they've taught us
to protect
our land for
"life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness."

Boy Wander

Boy Wander

Karyn Indursky

Eyes of blue
pull me in.
I can't help, but get lost.
So much wander and love
in those eyes of blue.
9 months old and yet so incredible.
Learning and moving on so quickly
in this big fast chaotic world,
but yet you keep up with a zest of love for life.
9 months old and you don't know
how much love we all have for you
and what lies ahead.
9 months old and you don't know yet
how much impact you have on our lives.
9 months old and incredible.
You are Boy Wander.

A boyfriend is found through
behaviors, negotiations, compromises.

A boyfriend is found through
emotions, affection, memories.

A boyfriend is found through
transgressions of being
an acquiescence to a friend
to a best friend
into coral hearts racing,
eyes locking, a kiss ignites, and
you know he's the only man to want to date,
be your b/f and embark a journey of a relationship
and with time your child
doesn't just have a play-date,
but a man to be his dad,
a dad to love his mom,
and bloom into a family garden.

Brand New Day in a Familiar Way

today is a brand new day

its even harder to take in each breath this time

and in some even stronger way

today chokes each gasp for life

today is a brand new day

but im loosing my edge, cant fight tears

and in my even weaker state

today i close my lids to mop my eyes

today is a brand new day

my nerves worn thing, about to snap

and in an even more agitated way

today i let my nerves fly free

today is not a brand new day

this deppressing cycle never ends

and in an even more desperate attempt

today i let myself go

Everlasting hardships linger

Faded into oblivion
are the memories
of holding hands, simple affection, companionship.

Everlasting hardships linger
in my heart
of fighting, ridiculing, domination.

Faded into oblivion
are the memories
of snuggling, laughter, movies.

Everlasting hardships linger
in my soul
of manipulation, disrespect, inconsideration.

Faded into oblivion
are the memories

Everlasting hardships linger

i didnt want to

i didnt and still dont want to say goodbye

to any of it

the friendship

the hugs

the long talks

the comforting shelter of arms

the look in your eyes as you said those three words

the way it felt to be so deep inside of you

the silence that meant so damn much

the sex that was great

the love that became my world

i know i can still have half

but like my gastank it leaves me often less than half empty

i know i sound greedy

but if i cant have everything

i dont want anything at all

....by the way, this is all a lie, i now see we were just a joke

Breathe Deep

Adrenaline pumps through each beat of every moment

Take a deep breath before the plummet begins

While built up so high

A sparkling carousel flowing through the silver clouds of the sky

Saddles of gold upon each horse

Embedded with jewels

Lustrous, glistening in the sun

Anyone can plainly see

A flawless world created before we dive deep

The air is silent

Intensifying thoughts racing through the back of every mind

A pin drops

Echoing into the abyss lurking below

Breathe in

Breathe out

Dangling by a sliver of time where the carousel exemplifies faultlessness

A heart racing in each ear

The rise was long lived

Instead the fall will be a blink

The sliver calls out

To be clipped by an unforgivable blade

A breath from the mouth

Gasp of the lips

A scream penetrates the air

Time is up; this flawless world dissipates leaving only the abyss.

BROKEN

Designer people

or people by design

for consumption

a perpetual consumer herd well refined

Our bodies evolve

to fit the comforts

and the stresses we provide

Without cause, like biological memory foam

we slouch like a sloth,

and sit to fit the jobs we fair.

Growing into empty spaces,

and cavities we refuse to share.

Bloated bellies,

swollen livers,

tired balloon sacks we pack without care.

Anorexia with a purpose

we starve, barf, and bing

to fit into strange alien things.

Curling our toes like Big Ram horns

hammering our sensitive feet

into inflexible single minded torture chambers...

Hiding in strange foreign closets we choose to live in.

This is the cross we hope to bear;

to show off, skylark, just to be a spectacle parlaying bling-bling and things like a horney Peacock in the spring. But is it worth a damn thing?

People love thyself!

Broken Free.

My body is just a shell,
I realize that now, as I'm sitting in Hell.
My soul is a wavering gold,
Unfortunately, still young but growing old.
My fingertips show outlines,
Of my spirit trying to break thorugh the confines.
My physical bodily is too small,
Much too tiny for the spirit about to fall.
They say only ten percent of our minds are at work,
And here I use all of it, in this damned murk.
My feet don't touch the ground,
It seems my spirit is becoming more sound. My blood trickles, then pours.
My body cannot accept my spirits lure.
I want the garish light of day,
No matter what the demons say.
My soul's mouth lets out an unholy roar,
As I rip from my shell and soar.
My pride is ripped despite freedom,
Because I know I won't be allowed in God's kingdom.
"At least not yet," I sigh,
"I will seek salvation over my demise."

Broken Hues

September 2012

Once upon a time Princess Vivian
was dating Rumpelstiltskin,
who was so sweet, endearing, enchanting
in their beginning of their relationship...

Princess Vivian was prettier than a flower...
Sweeter than sugar with her poetry...
And nurturing like water.

Conversations stroked her soul...
Hugs were heavenly...
Kisses were as addicting as chocolate...

To poor Princess Vivian's dismay,
Rumpelstiltskin randomly stopped calling, texting, visiting
and wouldn't communicate with her what's-so-ever.

Princess Vivian wasn't an idiot
and knew something was up,
but Rumpelstiltskin was a lying, immature, insensitive jerk,
who wasn't going to be honest.

Princess Vivian had her resources,
who loved her enough to let her know,
he was nothing more than a cheater
since he had been dating Princess Irene
on the side.

With a slap of reality Princess Vivian's
spell of blinded love was broken
and she took a bottle of beer
to throw in his face
before she turned to her girlfriend's
for unyielding support and prayers.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Dedicated to a dear poetic friend. Hugs. She knows who she is and the names have to been altered to protect the innocent and maintain some privacy while giving her my support.

Once upon a time
Pocono was sippin'

when in walked Miss Kitty.

His heart began to pound...
His tongue got tied...
His palms got sweaty...

Miss Kitty was oblivious
and sat down next
to him to have
a long island iced tea...

Her voice was soft as velvet.
Her eyes were alluring as sugar.
Her laughter was enticing as cherries.

Slowly, Pocono started to chatter
like a low hum before
he started to get
his flirt on.

Miss Kitty began to purr...
Her words were a caress...
Her blush was beautiful...

Chemistry sparked.
Interest flared.
Lips entwined.

When suddenly in
walked his ex-g/f
roaring with jealousy.

Miss Kitty got scared.
Rapunzel threw a beer bottle at her
and Miss Kitty fled away.

Pocono wasn't happy.
His feelings for her were gone.
He only wanted to be with Miss Kitty,
but with Rapunzel there
it wasn't happening.

So, out came an arrow
he stole from Cupid
and he hit Miss Kitty
in her cute booty,
and took out a stashed
bag of fairy-dust
to make her a
butterfly to find
peace within herself.

Pocono was happy at first,
but it began to plague him
that her love wasn't sincere,
but merely a spell.

He found an antidote
to save her,
but the damage was done.

Miss Kitty went on
to date Shaggy
while Pocono became
a broken puppet.

Bugs' Bunnies Supper

Bugs' Bunnies Supper

Bugs' Bunnies Supper
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Once upon a time
Elmer Fud was hunting
Bugs Bunny for rabbit stew...

Bugs Bunny took a bubblegum dress
and some lipstick
to trick him...

Elmer Fud had his gun
in Bugs Bunny's hole to shoot him,
but to his dismay Bugs Bunny
had a trap set...

Daffy Duck was in the area
and decided to pay Bugs a visit,
but he lost his concentration
with that Babe in the dress.

A whistle erupted from Daffy's lips...
Elmer looked in Daffy's direction...
and his gun shot Daffy's butt.

Bugs Bunny was laughing
at them both,
but came over to play Nurse.

Daffy Duck's and Elmer Fud's eyes
lit up with lust
while that crazy Bugs Bunny
couldn't care less.

Bugs got them to close their eyes
for a pink lipstick kiss,
but instead of kissing them
he made them kiss a stick of dynamite.

The explosion was intense.
Daffy Duck fell in love.
What a lady?!

Elmer Fud like it too.
He wanted more!

Bugs Bunny had plans
with Porkie Pig to eat supper
and they looked yummy.

So, Elmer Fud and Daffy Duck
went to kiss her again,
but Bugs Buggy had pixie dust
in a purse.

When they closed their eyes
one last time,
Bugs sprinkled them
and turned them into
bacon strips.

Porkie Pig showed up
in his spicy red car
with his napkin ready.

He was shocked to see
Bugs Bunny eating his carrot
with a plate of bacon strips.

Porkie Pig was offended!
You can't serve bacon to a pig!
How dare him?!

Before he could react,
Bugs Bunny sprinkled the remaining
pixie dust on him and
made him into a rat.

Bugs Bunny laughed at the irony
of watching the rat eat his brothers.

Burning

I don't feel like writing, my heart is brittled by the overuse of salt that my minds produced

Sickened by the flight of my spirit that seemed to have left me

I now sit in solitude and sadness

Where darkness dances around any light that's left

I feel guilty, and it hurts so bad

Don't know what for

Kinda makes me mad

So many emotions dwelling inside

Wish I could go invisible

And hide

I'm so alone, in every conceivable way

I'm the sheep in the flock that always seems to stray

I'm not asking the important questions, it seems I avoid them

I stick to the shallow end, where I continue to swim

In circles

I need a miracle

splatters of wispy paints
texturing fire breathing dragon
clouds blazing faintly above
steaming waters from the
rickety bridge drawn mostly
upward to a castle
where armored men stand
guard for protecting their
princess bathing nude beneath
tender splashes of moonlight
while every crevice of
her is drawn precisely
and your finger traces
over the framed canvas
until you feel it
burning artistic limitations.

Burns

You weren't supposed to see me,

I wasn't supposed to be there.

You weren't supposed to touch that,

I wasn't supposed to care.

You weren't supposed to let me down,

All I hear now are the echoes of memories, fading sounds.

Author's Notes:
Recent experience.. Of letdown.

Cradled by affection...
Molded by memories...
Curved by emotions...

Tempted by masculinity...
Stroked by tonality...

Directed by sensuality...

Glided by attraction...
Fired by passion...
Gripped by dreams...
Burnt by muses.

with street slang crafting
characters rappin' out lyrics
in a face off of dancers
igniting music animation.

Struttin' that booty
like it ain't no thang

But A Host

But A Host

By Karyn Indursky

I stand not alone,
but with boredom.
It holds my hands
in a firm gasp.
Boredom caresses my skin
in a nail, chalkboard scratching way.
Never will it be left alone
because it's gauged into me.
Like a tapeworm, this boredom
grows frantically within.
It wins as my feeble attempts
are trampled on.
Defeated by my boredom
I am not a being,...
but a host.

But Bewildered

But Bewildered

By Karyn Indursky

I'm here, not there.
I'm looking, but blind.
I'm hearing, but deaf.
I'm reaching, but not getting.
I'm lost, but found.
I'm you, but me.
I'm me, but you.
I'm us, but them.
I'm them, but me.
I'm this, but that.
I'm confused, but not.
I'm smart, but dumb.
I'm experienced, but incomplete.
I'm whole, but empty.
I'm strong, but weak.
I'm everything, but nothing.
I'm here,...

You help eat my food.
You help drink my beverages.
You help dirty dishes.
You help dirty clothes.
You help dirty the floor.
You help spill drinks.
You help make stains.
You help dirty this house.
\When it's time to clean up, do laundry, etc.,
you're no where to be found.
You're watching TV.
You're talking, joking, horsing around.
You're playing games.
You're singing, laughing.
You're making plans.
You're going out.
You're doing everything,...
but helping me.

But It's One Sided

But It's One Sided

By Karyn Indursky

I can make friends,
but can't get them to be true.
I can date guys,
but can't make them stay.
I can try my hardest,
but it's never enough.
I can try and try...
day and night,
but it's not enough.
I can do what I want,
but it's one sided.

Miss the laughter,
not the tears.

Miss the affection,
not the aggression.

Miss snuggling,
not belittlement.

Miss negotiations,
not self-absorption.

Miss comfort,
not being pushed away.

Miss holding hands,
not bruised lips.

Miss talking,
not arguments.

Miss having a relationship,
but NOT you.

But really it's all in how you look at things, for love doesn't mean any cruelty

Cruel love creeps

taking hearts into the deep dark caverns of pain

and suffering

for the missing

the wanting

the waiting

the longing

forever it seems

cruel love tears the heart's seams

leaving bloody trails of tears

in the wake

Cruel is the love that does not recipricate

Cruel is the love that's destroyed by fate

Cruel is the love with it's selfish needs

Cruel is the love that has no We

Author's Notes:
ispired by Ssmoothie tips circle the pain Attachment is what really messes with people I think. That's what makes love seem cruel. My intention is to love, always, and share my love with each person I come into contact with and be there fully in the moment of experience as we connect on the deepest spiritual level. Now, cruel is that infatuation that we humans tend to lean toward when we are attracted to someone physically. It's like a drug. That special spark. And then we want so badly to feel that spark and if we don't get to because the other person doesn't want to touch on that level, it hurts. Like the pain of needing that drug when your addicted and not being able to get it. Withdrawal.

Butterfly Daydreams

Butterfly Daydreams

Butterfly Daydreams
by Karyn Indursky

Catch me if you can
with your butterfly net
as I dart raindrops in
chocolate marshmallow clouds
and dance with my
flapping autumn wings
(the color of orange flowers)
more wonderous than velvet rainbows
that tickle smiles out of you
as you realize
the beauty of freedom
and how I am
meant to be free,
not a caged butterfly.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Everyone is a butterfly soaring into various destinations and finding obstacles along the way, but we shouldn't have to encounter problems because of our markings of race. Let us all be free butterflies flapping our wings in our paths, where we are free to do as we please and be who we are.

Butterfly Fly Thy Sonnet

Butterfly Fly Thy Sonnet

Karyn Indursky

Thy poetry is a soaring butterfly

gracing thee lyrics with ease and splendor.

Like a quill pen poetry drips thy ink

upon my page to explore narratives

with dainty play on words growing soft pink

as butterfly guides imperatively.

Doodling imagery with pure emotion

flaps across pages of memories bliss

with many choices causing commotion

until thee spreads her wings into abyss

Intrepretations begin to flutter

without right or wrong answers to counter

where thy narrative shall give a mutter

for which perspective thou shall encounter.

Butterfly Of Beauty

Butterfly of Beauty

Karyn Indursky

Butterfly's are
extraordinarily exquisite
with beautiful
spirits,
wings,
lives.
I wonder what
it'd feel like
to spread
my wings
with the ability
to fly up high
in the wondrous
sky of
dreams, fantasies,
desires, yearnings,
cravings, bravery,
courage, freedom.
I wonder what
it'd feel like
to fly
aimlessly
with the birds,
bees, moths, and
other mystical wildlife.
I wonder what
it'd feel like
to be
pretty, free spirited,
free, wondrous
without ever
knowing it.
I wonder what
it'd be like
to have
started out
as a caterpillar
eating leaves.
I wonder what
it'd be like
to go through
this tremendous stage
of metamorphosis
without ever
knowing it
or understanding.
I wonder what
it'd be like
to be
a wild and free
butterfly of beauty.

I miss the days
when affection meant something
and words healed wounds
with sweet caresses
more tender than flesh
amongst God's people fully open
to sharing unconditional love
without restrictions, hesitations, or stipulations
while freeing sheltered souls from captivity
by sincerity.

step.

If a man can't
bring himself
to give his number,
next.

If a man can't
hug, hold, or be affectionate,
dismissed.

If a man can't
handle my medical and emotional baggage,
take a hike.

If a man can't
accept my son,
get lost.

If a man can't
compromise, give compliments, etc.,
date yourself.

If a man can't
pay for our date and be romantic...
bye!

Cage

We live in cages
for so long
without realizing the key
is on our hands
Why do we stand for such insanity?
Was it the way we were raised?
Were we led astray?

Does it matter?
The key is in your hand.

Can Unopened Eyes Still See?

this time i close my eyes

unlike times of before, or maybe like a few

privatly i wish for nothing more

then for them to open no more

show me black tinted blur

and tainted canvas to alter my perceptions

maybe if i never opened these lids again

id be able to make all this evil go away
