In Your Arms

In your arms

Karyn Indursky

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
starting now.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
with or without your permission.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
no matter how hard you push me away.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
no matter what you say to me.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
no matter how many countless times you deny your love for me.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
because like God I won't give up on you.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
because like your guardian angel I will protect, guide, help you.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
even once you leave this Earth for heaven.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
as you get your golden halo and angel wings.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
because my love for you is too deep and true to let go of.

In your arms
is where
I will forever stay...
because I'm already in your heart, too.

Don't speak.
Don't move.
Don't lead.
Don't start trends.
Don't take risks.
Don't be different.
Don't try to improve.
Don't question.

Do as you're told.
Stay still.
Follow.
Be like everyone else.
Accept everything.
Accept everyone.
Never change.

When everything's said and done, don't be an individual.

Inflictions

He ripped me a new hole
in my heart
where the love used to flow.
He ripped me a new heart
when love used to grow
he ripped me internal tears
when I used to smile.
He ripped me internal tears
where I used to laugh.
He ripped me hopelessness
when I used to have faith.
He ripped me hopelessness
when I used to have dreams.
He ripped me new pain
when I used to feel none.
He ripped me new pain
when I used to shine.
He ripped me many things,
none of which are good,
because he had to be a cheat.

INFORMAL ANGEL

Look at you!
“So fine” as the best dark wine.
Staring up from your welcoming counter.
Locks brought back into one,
head up at an angle.

Attentive eyes reading the very letters on my soul.

Developed lips open and stretch,
revealing precious pearls.
Your continence says,
I am here to serve.

The aura about your enticing elegance,
compels me to want to be served.
I have entered the domain of the customer service queen.
It is a delight to be her patron.
An honour to be served by her.

Even though she takes pride bringing forth solutions;
pleasure in remedying mistakes.
She could easily do naught;
yet leave you a well satisfied customer.

Her soft soothing voice;
her ever present radiant smile,
disarms the most rabid, raving, rampaging customer.

I am beguiled by her professionalism;
her fast, efficient methods.

Her methodology,
reinforce my humanity;
it showers me with with human sensibilities.
Should I manufacture artificial problems?
Or engineer discrepancies?

Invent and induce conflicts;
so she my grant me audience.
To enter through her open door.
Grace her sought after counter.
Just to be in your presence once more.

If you don't mind

tap me a few lines

of your opinion on the artistic piece,

and a possible hybrid to be release?

Can you fine

within my strange goldmine

a choreographic mime

from my linguistic lines?

Or, can you mold a play

from painted words gone astray

on bits of poetic bones I lay

just in time for my birthday in May?

Smothered by negativity
I refuse to cave
Into incessant yelling
Ridiculing me
To attempt molding me
Into who you think
I should be
Or how I should act
Because God accepts
Me as is,
Not with restrictions
Or guidelines
Nor judgments
And when I seek Him
I don’t have to ask,
He’s always residing
In my heart.

Initiative

Initiative

Karyn Indursky

In this life, you must have initiative.
You can't live life
without direction
and making things happen.
Sure, you can be laid back and relaxed
to a point,
but the world isn't your server.
You must do things for yourself.
You must work for what you get.
You must know what you want
and where you want to be.
You must have some type of love or zest or something
to live your life.
Otherwise, you have
no direction...no life...no incentive...nothing.

Poetry look at me with thine ink eyes

to write a story of our love tribulations

of where my muse likes to sing in black skies

as my hand flies across paper stations

Poetry flutter eyelashes at me

to quilt of a poem of thou memories

with pen needles sewing fabrics from thee

heart strum lines that will hopefullky carry

Poetry let your eyes twinkle at me

as I explore imagery of nature

with my hand writing away as you see

as mysteries unravel creatures

So long as thy poetry looks my way

forever in my heart will writing stay

Innocence

Bright eyes,

Standing tall,

Innocence prevails,

Every sigh, people stare in awe,

A youthful look,

Glorious face,

Never a single tear,

That a smile could not replace,

Heart in one piece,

Beating stronger than ever before,

When he steals it away,

It will be whole nevermore,

If only she knew,

Oh so naïve,

Feeling so alive,

Nothing could go wrong,

In her dreams colored with a silver lining,

Stars made of gold,

Diamond encrusted dresses,

A beautiful hand to hold,

Never to raise to her face,

Only hold through the night,

Bring the fairytale pages of a story to life,

But if only she knew,

The trauma of the breakdown,

When his heart runs astray,

Legends will fall,

Starting with a bruise,

Straight to the heart,

Slowly crippling the innocence,

Perfection diminishes,

On their downward fall,

There will be the girl,

That was once the envy of all.

Insanity

I've sacrificed it all just so I could live just so I could fall, live a humble life because yes I've done it all, I chose to be able to walk to the store alone, I don't want a throne I just want to be one of y'all, will you smoke with me will you partake of this cup, I'll take all the pain fall in love and not give a fuck, I'll be the example the picture of human beings, the blessings of God lets us create anything, yes I can kill demons but I don't think that I'm better, please don't follow me that's why I'm trying to share it, came back as a warrior I tasted every sin, upside down I lost just so that we can all win, how will you survive without electricity, saint nick bows down to me he tempts you and you tempt me, I chose not to act and let you re write history but the media keeps summoning demonic beings, teaching children to ask questions using pencils what the fuck I said, lead is meant for protection best respect the dead, massive die offs letting them walk amok, too big to fail still everybody for bucks, what the fuck.

faster than an automotive.

Drifting beneath ebony drapes
with creeping ghosts roaming
like starving vultures
memories flash bolts
of emotions, imagery, reminders.

Fluttering beneath black curtains
with phantom pasts lurching
forward like a wild cheetah
memories purge personalities
to confront truths.

Shifting beneath midnight's torment
with plaguing antagonist's slaying
heart strings like a warrior
memories shove acquired lessons
to guide spirits.

Jutting open eyes
the past lingers to
rouse the brain into acceptance
for venturing hard lessons

Where's the incentive
to help someone
who doesn't recognize
you're assisting?

Where's your incentive
to help someone
who doesn't appreciate
what you currently do?

Where's my incentive
to help someone
who doesn't value
my internal worth?

Where's the incentive
to help someone
too busy depicting flaws
instead of giving praise?

Where's your incentive

Where's my incentive

Where's the incentive

Where's your incentive

fluids rapidly to touch
fair skin like caresses
while kissing away secrets
hidden behind facades used
automatically in avoidance of
others seeing what lies
beneath beautiful fake smiles
formed after laughter or
even giggles when barely
noticing reality fades because
cosmetics apply quick remedies
upon reddened cheeks before
thorny raindrops wash away
all remainders of what
was seen as yesterday's
glorified victory once gates
were invincible until being
destroyed by pliers pulling out
hinges, nails, paint, time
forcefully in unlocking every
external surface while working
on no longer barricaded
internal truths.

Into A Pulp Of Nothingness

Into a pulp of nothingness

By Karyn Indursky

I miss being happy. I forget what it feels like.
I come home from work and all I want to do
is cry. Then, I want to sink away in a hole
and just die. No matter what day it is, where I'm at,
who I'm with, and what not, I feel the weight
of the world crushing down on my shoulders.
It's too much of a weight. It burdens me constantly.
People think I speak so much, but I speak so little
from my heart. It's killing me inside and all I
want to do is cry like the rain from the heavens,
but these tears won't fall. I feel this pressure
everywhere. It's crushing me... crushing me... crushing me...
into a pulp of nothingness.

She closes her eyes dreaming
of being a stunning beauty
on a wooden stage with
everyone watching her in awe
as her powder blue dress
glistens under the spot light
in recognition she's sought for
years, but until today she
never obtained and when she
opens her almond eyes again
reality hurts a little less
than it did before because
through everything she's battled in
this media crazed world before
our blinded eyes of beauty
she's kept one cherished thing
when most have managed to
lose it along their way
until she turns this dream

Into the chasm we

Into the chasm we

Without words fall

Floating in seas of discontent

A black void surrounds you

A weak flickering light

You are lost in the wilderness

A prisoner of your tied tongue

Words thoughts and feelings left on the precipice

No push …no pull

I see you there your soul blowing in the wind

Cold and haggard

Worn at the edges

Still not going to those places

You have never been

Everything without

Lost

Nothing held too tightly within

You look

To you I am not I

Who is it that you see

Into the bitter river of silent woe

You flail your arms

Still you go

Head first driven by stubbornness

No delight in this loss

A lightness of body

Nothing else to be found in the drowning pool

You believed you were wise

Only you were full of self-deceit and lies

Intuition path

They just aren't aware that they're love.

Love all for life is short.

All experience is merely privelage with awareness. It's hell with identification.

The unidentifiable is where you are nested with loving embrace.

All pain is talking to you, hear it out. Don't follow it blindly.

Pray for oneness, pray for your rebirth.

Find your truth, find the truth, be true.

Don't cave into violence, resentment and defense of the illusion you believe you are.

Spread your arms and invite warmly all.

Silence dwelling from love is the best response to noise dwelling from pessimism. like instantly calming from an angry stupor upon truly looking at yourself in the mirror is this act.

One love is deep, most of us still dwell upon the surface, but your soul calls for deep and utter love. It's only scary because it's new, everlastingly new. Give routine, protection, resistance, fear to the light you are. These tendancies will dissipate in the face of eternity, and all that will be seen is a smile emitting from your face for no real particular reason at all.

I love you.

heart is a muscle, as of now all our hearts have been too long inactive with it's choice to love. So long has it been this way we doubt it can be done, start slow if that's your style, or go full throttle. Dip your toe in the pool or cannonball in. The one truth can be interpreted a million different ways, but it can only be known as one, and that way is where all comes to be. That way is where we have been all this time, we just aren't paying attention.

Iris Hearts Of Easter

Iris Hearts Of Easter

Karyn Indursky

2013

Once upon a time

Peter Cottontail was

skipping down the bunny trail

when the Cadbury Bunny

decided to help him deliver...

Peter Cottontail dropped pieces

of brownie's leading to Hansel's and Gretel's,

where they left a deep red rose in a crystal base

sitting on their doorstep with a fudge brownie

basket holding bubblegum whistlers, smores,

a strawberry milkshake, black jelly beans,

and peppermint patty's.

Upon peach rings the Cadbury Bunny

played hopscotch to win caramel apples,

white peaches, a couple of bananas,

strawberries, grapes, and a pineapple

to make a Fruit Salad Hat with

a robin's eggs blue basket holding

miniature white vanilla bunnies, chirping peeps,

and rainbows of skittles and before the

Cadbury Bunny left he kissed the "Happy Easter

envelope with this love for his Grammy.

Peter Cottontail made a basket from

chocolate colored twigs with airhead handles

wound around the brim and inside were

decorated pastel colored eggs, jelly beans,

M&M's, a Snicker's bar, strawberry straws,

and a strawberries with cream milkshake.

Down the road of red hot dollars

Cottontail hopped, skipped, whistled

while he looked for his Mom's house

and The Cadbary Bunny met up

with him to give a poem

he'd written, a bunny inked pen,

and two red sunflowers in a vase.

Hopping, skipping, and dancing

Iron Teeth Scold (abstract)

Karyn Indursky

Iron teeth scold
an old lady's kneeling
in her steel dress
and once bronze hair
replaced with aluminum
mocking the sterile lead figure
in zinc high-heels dancing
on mercury's floor while she
tries to hide years of her foundation
stolen by chisels and blow torches
as she scrapes the world
with her nickel heart
replacing silver love
with golden hatred.

Irresistibly Kiss-able‏

Irresistibly Kiss-able‏

Karyn Indursky

Your lips are like candy.
I could nibble and taste..
Your lips are like wine.
I'd like at least a sip.
Your lips are like diamonds.
I'd be rich to have them.
Your lips are like souvenirs.
I'd love to sample.
Your lips are like medicine.
I'd love to be healed.
Your lips are like temptation.
I'd love to cave in.
Your lips are like memories.
I'd love to make more.
Your lips are like heaven.
I'd love to experience eternal bliss.
Your lips are like gifts.
I'd love to have them to treasure.
Your lips are like invitations.
I'd like to go.

Irritation

Irritation

Karyn Indursky

Irritation is like an infectious disease.
It finds a nice warm spot to feed on.
Bit by bit, it begins to grow like cancer.
There is no limit to what can happen.
Some hosts fail to notice what's happening.
Changes take place.
They become hard to recognize.

Irritation continues to nibble at the host.
Attitude changes show more and more.
Behaviors become foreign from being "normal."
Voices range in sounds.
Tolerance is lost.
Patience is not a resident.
The hosts cave into the infectious cancerous disease.

Irritation digs in deeper.
Hosts allow it to spread throughout their bodies.
Refusal to get help occurs.
Things get more and more hectic.
Attention spans shrink like deflating balloons.
Inhabitants around the host can't take it any longer.
Problems consume the mammals because they couldn't get rid of their irritation.

Is it better...

Is it better...

Karyn Indursky

Is it better to be dumber than everyone thinks or smarter than anyone knows?
Is it better not to be recognized or recognized as someone else?
Is it better to be alone or in a crowd where you feel as if you are?
Is it better to be seen as part of the crowd and know that you're not or in the crowd where no one else seems to know it?
Is it better to be afraid and know it or afraid without realizing it?
Is it better to cry or wish you could?
Is it better to not speak up or speak up when no one listens?
Is it better to do something and no one knows about it and you wish they did or do something and not want anyone knowing with it being exposed to everyone?
Is it better to know something and wish you didn't or want to know something and can't?
Is it better to be alive and want to be dead or dead and want to be alive?
Is it better to make noise or not and no one notices you?
Is it better not to question and wish you had or question and wish you hadn't?

Sometime, there is no right or wrong answer
or even an explanation,
but it's how we handle it that counts.

Is it Such a Crime (to Love)

is it such a crime to love another

such a punishable offence to care as such

the purest love

it does not brag

it goes unannounced

for fear of the time done for the crime

is it a sin to love one another

condemnable to be so close

to hold each other by the hand

to grasp in a tight compassionate embrace

if it be a crime, i shall do my time

youre worth more than any price to pay

imprison me, restrain me back

just, please, i beg and plead with you

do anything, anything you wish

just, please, dont keep her from me

i mean not a bit of harm

i desire nothing unpure

come at me, fulfill your sentance for me

just, please, dont keep her from me

sitting on the sidelines i watch my world fade away

right by my eyes, not a word catching my ears

detatched and broken down on the side of an expressway

the cars race by and i cant help but feel helpless

is any part of this even mine anymore

am i even playing myself anymore

do i remember how to exit stage right

or even follow my cues anymore

because today im just not me

and tomorrow i just may cease to be

Island escape

Respect to the admirer of love and clarity

You're on the raft that drifts toward it

You must release the oar you use to slow down

It's only scary because it's new

But if you let go you'll see

You are free

You are a power

Power is you

You will move from heart

You will sing the truth

Be consumed

Sucked into

Pure waters

It's you who must choose

To lose what you cling to

And by mans law himself

Proceed to love and gratitude

To move in unison with rested hands

To spill all your ills

See them get soaked into the sand

Evaporated from the suns intense heat

Purified and rained upon the heads of all

And join one another in inherent communion

You've lost the island and have found a shore, you're raft is what now detours

Walk away until it is but a speck, Move in peace, no regrets.

Your power prevails in midst of ails

Send them to love, and be still

Everyone will know the truth, you are the one that they seek, let everybody come forth, what you need is spiritual, feel your soul, intro, finally regain control, open that lock in your dome, it's a phone, call home pronto, fuck is this, ignorance is never bliss, you belong in the abyss, many trees many ropes, why o why always the throat, why o why cant I let go, did my time now reborn, but you won't see me return, when I go to the sky, I will be forever high, join the kings of the past, guaranteed I'm not the last, 1 2 3 4 5, 6 7 ,8 then 9, 10 and number 11 not all of us made things better, have you heard of the dark ages more to it than just crusaders, picture something like darth vader, yes, skywalker in training, test, I'm passing and failing but knowledge I'm gaining and wisdom attaining, rest, still patiently waiting

nothing can rain forever

not even me

hopes, prays, pleads

a weary boy

It only seems

Sometimes it seems that you're the only person who makes me happy...well not happy but close to happy.
And other times it seems that you don't want me to even exist...like I've done the most terrifying thing in the world.
I mean, you don't even look at me the same way anymore.
And maybe after days and days of thinking.
Maybe things won't work out like I thought they would.
Maybe you were just something of a fairytale dream I thought one day would come true.
But I guess you're not...

It Was You

It was you

Karyn Indursky

It was you,
who taught me about love.

It was you,
who taught me what love feels like.

It was you,
who taught me it was okay to be loved.

It was you,
who allowed me to ease from being scared.

It was you,
who helped me learn to be vulnerable.

It was you,
who allowed me to love.

It was you,
who taught me the importance of mutual love.

It was you,
who had to deal with my fears.

It was you,
who had to help me open up to you.

It was you,
who contended with my problems.

It was you,
who tried to help me find solutions.

It was you,
who watched me change.

It was you,
who continued to love me through it all.

It was you,
who put forth the effort with me to make it work.

It was you,
who united with my heart.

It was you,
who became unattainable for me.

It was you,
who led me to think about our future.

It was you,
who had me put you first out of unselfish love for you.

It was you,
who made me reach conclusions.

It was you,
who I chose to give a better life to.

It was you,
who I had to let go.

It was you,
who I was thinking of.

It was you,
who I broke up with.

It was you,
who my heart broke for.

It was you,
who I wanted a better life for.

It was you,
who I loved.

It was you,
who didn't see it.

It's all in the lighting

She went into those dark twisted spaces of her mind.

As she was led there by a dragonfly.

Somehow trusting this mysterious being.

She went with him behind the scenes.

He took her places lustfully fun.

She found inside the courage to run.

With him guiding her deep inside.

No longer scared, she went for the ride.

And coming out the other side,

she found she was filled with delight.

And love of All was in the air.

Today her glow has really glared.

Excited about the life she lives.

Loving all the ways he gives.

The voices all still scream her name.

She no longer feels that sense of shame.

She sees his love through many forms.

Her love ignites like it's been reborn.

faces around swallow everything in me

in a friendly way they slice my throat

letting my words spill pure pain

mockery makes living with no cure twice as hard

especially when these are the best friends i have

sadly ironic how the closest to you

can be the most untrue

and the most prepared to knife your back

I give a foot
as you beg for a yard.

It's People Like You

It's People Like You

Karyn Indursky

It's people like you,
who help save lives
because people
reach the point of breaking,
needing help,
needing encouragement,
needing love,
needing comfort,
needing coaxing,
needing understanding,
etc. and when someone
like you is there
to catch the pieces
it makes it
so much easier
for them to deal
with things
to move on.
I commend you
on being there
for people and touching them
through your poetic ways.
I commend you on
sincerely being there
to inspire and motivate
others to not give up,
but instead keep
their heads held high
to achieve a marvelous
future with you in it.
I commend you
on being a true friend
for someone
instead of an acquaintance
pretending to be a friend.
I commend you
for helping others
instead of being
too busy to care.

Jaded Blues

Jaded Blues
Karyn Indursky
July 2012

Flinching emotions.
Emotions eliciting.
Eliciting memories.
Memories lurking.
Lurking tears.
Tears stripping.
Stripping guards.
Guards dropped.
Dropped expressions.
Expressing flashbacks.

Bottling visions.
Visualizing memories.
Memories slaying.
Slaying faith.
Faith questioned.
Questioned hope.
Hope tainted.
Tainted emotions.

Eyes brimming.
Brimming emotions.
Emotions escaping.
Escaping secrets.
Secrets crumbling.
Crumbling hearts.
Hearts jaded.
Jaded blues.

Jaded Green

Jaded Green

Karyn Indursky

Talking to brick walls of ears
when no one's listening,
but the clank of poetry
unmasking your muse
as you redundantly
try to make people get
you don't get bored,
don't switch medications
to insulin when
you're not a doctor
nor an employee at a hospital,
and as many times as you struggle
to find a listener,
who truly cares your poems
are melancholy and jaded green.

Jealousy's Iron Cage

Jealousy is an iron cage
locking up my friend
to turn her spun gold hair
into tangles from digging nails
in with fisted emotions
of wanting that bitch to
lay off the man she likes
and leave him for herself
to drink up his every
essence of being before
making him happy maybe
for a day or tow,
but hopefully forever.

Doesn't matter what you think. You keep fucking with my heart thinking that ima go dark I don't care if people like me. I will still give you a helping hand. You don't even have to ask me. I don't want anything in return. Only thing I'm hoping is that you pass on the favor so a helping hand is encouraged all throughout the world. Still feel I'm on the moon but I no longer feel alone because I know my love comes soon.

Jessica

Jessica

Karyn Indursky

Hurrying through the forest, Jessica saw all the natural beauty.
She reached her special hiding spot.
Proudly, she sat in an undiscovered cave.
If the cave could talk, a lot of stories would be told.

The cave was the only place she felt at home.
Worries were lifted from her.
All she had to do was be herself.
Inner peace came naturally.

Jessica talked for hours to the spirits of the cave.
Feelings could be spoken fearlessly.
Events were planned in silence.
Her work was done without interruptions.

Relaxation wasn't a problem.
For exercise Jessica roamed the cave.
Her journal of notes were hidden.
She finished logging information of the cave with an enlightened heart.

Content, Jessica went to her house.
She made phone calls.
Credit was fully given to her.
The only thing Jessica requested was for the cave never to be destroyed or forgotten.

Jewel in the bedrock

There's no other way to say that I love you

Than through what I have done

For my words use me to punish

And again through the debris in my heart I rummage

In search for a jewel that's so pristine

So clear

In an instant it will vaporize any fear

Tough to find love in a place so dark

To find truth in a superficial realm

Where I refuse to walk for my direction has been casted

Ignited fumes surround my body and beneath me lyes bedrock

So very still in the most uncomfortable of ways

Continuing the search as I move farther astray

Hope has become my indignity and love my excuse

The only outcome is pain with a sense of determination too

What a red rock anthem my lfie has developed

Dull pricks touch me like when cold skin awakens

Like fly paper these tendencies refuse to be shaken

With tools I dig into the bedrock below

deserted, hot, unnecessarily low

My finding bestow a path to hell

I keep to myself for these fossils are best not spread

Journey of the Dissident

Pour poison on the brain,

Losing my self-control again;

I’ve been away too long,

I don’t recognise these shores,

Yet I was born and baptised in them.

Now I’m drowning in Aquarius eyes,

And choking on pearl tears,

Building something out of nothing,

Erecting an obelisk of all my thoughts and fears,

A spiralling story, shrouded by the clouds,

Threating to crush me at the beginning of a storm,

Knowing the beginning, but the rest is never-ending.

I’m a stranger in my body, reaching for control,

My mind was once my nemesis,

A place to refuge,

My body is now a vessel,

To champion my greatest glory,

A tapestry that changes from perspective,

To stitch and sow into flesh: ever so permanent.

Dissident marches on a limp foot,

Sheltering from electric thoughts;

Carved imperfections, a beauty to behold,

Freedom is a conquest with consequence,

Imprisonment for truths yet spoken,

True victory is to know that there is belief in oneself,

A catalyst for rebellion: the message is sewn.

Author's Notes:
This may seem dijointed, but I think it's came together nicely... I'm on a new path in life, so tried to convey that.

Judge me as you want

You can laugh and judge me as often as you want,

And realize that it bothers me and be a bigger haunt.

Why you people judge me before you even know me i'm not sure, But everything you people say don't bother me anymore

Cause you don't live my life or step one foot inside my shoes,

But judge me as you must if that's what you decide to choose.

Have you ever felt the pain of being emotionally abused,

Pain is an understatement when you find out you've been used.

Have you ever tried to cut and make it to the vein,

Cause that's the only thing you have to ease away the pain.

Blood is my tears instead of actuall crying,

It's just the way i cope with the fact that i'm not dying.

Have you ever been without a single friend,

To have no one to say they're there until the end.

Have you ever had someone leave without a trace,

Not even to say goodbye or even show their face.

Have you ever thought your dad just didn't care,

Even just to hear his voice was something very rare.

Why you people judge me before you even know me i'm not sure,

But everything you people say don't bother me anymore.

Now that this is finished try and judge me once more,

Maybe you'll think about it twice and cease to be such a whore.

Just a friend
is never
good enough
when a guy
collides with
a woman
of such caliber and charisma
that she sweeps

to embrace in his arms

in a way he's never
felt before, but wants to

Just Being You

Just being you

Karyn Indursky

I always look
forward to
seeing and talking
with you.
You have
a great heart
and so much love
for the world.
You can still
smile even with
the world
crushing down
on you
like it does me.
You can still
laugh even when
the day seems
to be
the most wretched
of them all.
You can still
get through
to me
even when
no one
else can.
You can still
melt my heart
when you
tell me
what's in yours.
You can still
enchant me
with your every word
because you expose
your true self
to me and I can't
even deny that.
You can still
hang the moon
for your daughter
because you're the best
one of all.
You can still
move on with
many other things
and people,
who you allow
yourself
to because
you have
an incredible
zest for life,
motivation,
knowledge,
strength,
self-accomplishment,
devotion,
determination,
love for your daughter,
beauty,
etc.
You can still
enchant the whole world
and bring it
to your knees by
just being you.

Kaleidoscope Of Cosmic Wonder

Kaleidoscope Of Cosmic Wonder

Kaleidoscope Of Cosmic Wonder
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Starlit whispers beckoned the Moon's
face like a flare of imagination
illuminating comets of couplets.

Lunar murmurs caressed each couplet
with a stroke of lava
to make stanzas explode
with comets of communication.

Solar winds sailed heavens seas
like a twirling golden lock of
fractals colliding cosmic fireworks
with celestial bodies waltzing.

Asteroids of alliteration ran
their fingers of language around
astral's creativity with squirming
energies of expression humming.

Grammar gripped its gravitational pulls
with alluring eyes to glisten
within orbits of poetry.

Karaoke Contest

Karaoke Contest

Karyn Indursky

Sassy blues music fills
dimly lit nightclub air
and nervous fingers grip
a microphone while snapping
the beat before spinning slowly
around with her voice seeping
out lyrics for winning this
karaoke contest.
Her Boston red sunset hair
tumbles down her bare back
while her narrow hips sway
rhythmically with each note
rolling off her velvet tongue
more naturally than leather pants
encasing her legs and her hand
holds her chunky silver belt
in sexy promises spilling from
tree top green eyes sprinkling
emotion and obtained freedom of
singing out her beautiful soul
without restraint tonight at a
karaoke contest.
Sheer fabric flaps in movements
of dancing body while drifting
wandering eyes to her cleavage
and her glittery silver halter
shows off her never seen before
centerfold curves, but breathtaking
is the sound of her melodic
voice caressing everyone's soul
until she's deep inside them
inside of only performing this
karaoke contest.
Music fades with the spot light
to end her night of blossoming
bud into a rose within minutes
of letting herself be true
and singing without hiding it
along with her external beauty,
but she's not to be given
any prize when she has
slipped away for being a
legacy of unclaimed talent
before crowds at a
karaoke contest.

Karate Master

Karate Master

Karyn Indursky

Giving everything within
her karate physique
takes this competitor
further into winning
against brute men
laughing at her
cinnamon bun hair
whipping around her
tiny waist struggling
to hold up
uniform pants too
long of pants
for petite feet
breaking through wooden
boards easier than
ever imagined by
gawking eyes registering
defeat when her
lettuce leaf eyes
smile in victory
before everyone watching
glittering gold being
given to her
polished pink crystal
fingers taking hold
of being the
very first woman
karate master.

KARMA

Is this the consciousness of the court or legal reality?

Osgoode Hall

Where the INNOCENT falls,

after blissfully attending the court’s role calls.

The insurgents

of black jackets,

white shirts,

black pants,

and business skirts

loaded with atas cases on the move.

As the penguin cloaks,

the  red striped pants,

and blue coats

are held in reserve

to reinforce the ungodly band

To fiddle with dark things,

and little ‘white lies.’

To uplift their sins

to ‘white collar crimes,’

and insure no one does time.

The unlawful becomes lawful,

truth becomes lies.

The God witness factual reality

are given a legal cosmetic surgery.

To be unholy transformed into evidence

as witnessed by the court.

So the innocent can be made guilty,

and the fallible retain their stranglehold.

Legal sinful wickedness

becomes  the policy of ethical morality.

I sure do love my baby girls.

‘Judicial Immunity’ is bought and sold

at the haggler’s market corner store

for thirty pieces of silver or choiced gold.

They all play on the same legal football team.

To protect the Banks,

secure the Franks,

to Forth Nox the pirate’s bay golden lake,

and destroy the innocent in their wake

An army of distractors,

legal sinful raven ravers.

Osgoode Hall

where the mighty rule,

the  good people are considered stool

and the weak are set to rune.

With unclean hands

You drove me out of the Public Courtroom

kick me off the seat of judgement

and put me on the city’s streets

to eat your vexatious meat.

Best of the homeless foods.

Because you believe

a blackman’s family should not achieve,

the Negro male don’t deserve to work

pay taxes and succeed.

To love and mother beloved children.,

and be a member of your creed.

You so believe

the blackman is nothing but a criminal

A race Horse to be owned

or a vandal to be stoned.

A beast of burden to be wrecked

So his awesome potential is kept in check

and never unleashed.

To cause the planting of trees.

To be made a mockery of,

to live upon his knees begging ‘please…’

And for his children

to crawl upon their bellies like eals.

This is the only cog in the social machine

reserved for him and his children’s children.

If he should refuse their generous enslaving aid

then he shall be generously paid,

with brutalization

slanderlization

and bankrupt with a pound of lies,

to force you to want to die

even though weeping widows may spill their eyes,

and beloved babies may cry.

To make  their malicious beliefs real

while pursuing their covert purpose.

Black children, does not deserve to blossom

like a beautiful yellow rose  in ‘Hogtown’

or soar like a monarch butterfly.

But if you read the writing on the courthouse walls

I could have better food that I have chosen,

maybe that which my own hands has grown

Heed Her-Majesty’s call

and be fair to one and all

follow the protocols

written on public walls,

and hypocritical hallowed halls.

Hold close to your breast

the philosophy in steel capital letters,

written in English and French on a secret crest

in Osgood's Hall holy backyard

A parable of the Lion and the Lamb,

on a Seesaw with perfect balance

on the three dimensional wedge

on The Queen’s Bench.

“EVERY INDIVIDUAL IS EQUAL

BEFORE AND UNDER THE LAW

AND HAS THE RIGHT TO

THE EQUAL PROTECTION

AND EQUAL BENEFIT

OF THE LAW

WITHOUT DISCRIMINATION”

But these are empty words

written on hollow authority hearts.

Wasted spoken pearls

cast before freedom-rights stealing swines.

But, here I stand upon bipolar lands

suffering at the hands of perverted public plans.

Oh God, where has all my children gone?

Disgraced public Servant contravening UN Policies

Discrimination by Distinction enforced

by legal prejudgetice

with a ready sword in their right hand

they stomp down another innocent black man.

Quiet, subtle, systemic Racism.

Do they even remember the covenant promise plans?

Ronins,

public servants without a master

or public authority gone rogue.

The blasphemous loathing.

The dishonour.

Oh, the shameless shame

of  the dishonorable same!

But it would seem

the purpose is to steel,

kill

and destroy

families upon this promise land

In conquest of the impecunious poor,

which is singing the “The Conqueror's Victory Song.”

The system of Lords and serfs

has been resurrected in full force.

Osgoode Hall

where the hord

of soulless lawyers march on.

Who are not dead,

but has cast off the feelings of being alive,

and evolved above the law of living.

Filling in the city streets

with homeless vagabonds.

After it’s COURT SERVICE WORKERS

under strict command

has prepared the uneven battle field,

in hiding your evidence,

stealing your innocence

and vanquishing the truth

to special reserved tombs.

Then try to feed you

with mockery insulting your intelligence

in making amends for ‘uncleanhands’

for pass forgotten inhumanity to man,

as legal sins to it’s own machiavellian plans.

To rejoice in the demise of fiduciary victims

To savor the victory of the innocent incense smells

of daily homeless victims.

While wallowing in their pride

of proceedings conquest

like happy ecstatic pampered pigs

frolicing in a trough of golden mud

with their fine French Wines

for a well earned festival time.

Oh, the bountiful feast at the round table

of ‘Bar’ and daggered Knights.

The herds of people

they put in there predetermined rightful place

as living scarecrows

for the few braveheart souls

of beggars,

haggs,

CAMH scavengers manufactured by scallywaggs.

By karma

we live or fall!

Where has all my family gone?

Author's Notes:
Freedom/Rights are bought, and sold like the new commodity gold; exchanged and traded by amoral legal professionals. While the same is made filty rich, the good rich are made poor. One better be prepared to trade all their assets for something that is suppose to be guaranteed and inherent for each and every living soul.   Self representation break this business model, cutting out the gluttonous cancer of the middle men who demand their canabalistic share of the private trading of the good peoples life.   Why else would a selfrepresented litigant be branded a fool, when there is no other means to proceed to claim ones rights and defend your legal plight?   For goodness sake why?   Money is the root, link, and relationship for the vile ungodly things being done in court to innocent people from the general public.

My father died

my mother say,

I don’t know him

but I hope he’s okay

I found a way

To get to know him,

Even if he's not here

my mother says he liked

green beans, so I planted some

I planted them on the vacant lot

where my father can see them

where it’s not too hot

But hot enough to reach their stem

I planted there so my father can see

that I’m his daughter

And that I’m his father

Kindled Spirits

Kindled Spirits

Karyn Indursky

She stares out the window
seeing the woman she wants
to be with golden glowing hair
sprinkling sunshine down a
back baring her tied bikini
top and her sexy thong bottom
drawing attention from the
one man who never notices
her. She stares out the window
with longing to kiss him
rather than offer him advise
on the next girl to date
or settle an argument or
romance. She stares out
the window fantasizing what
it would feel like to
have his lips brush against
hers instead of whispering
his dreams about other girls
far more prettier than her,
although he never says
it, but oh how she feels
it every time when she
watches him swoon. She
stares out the window silently
screaming his name as he
indulges another swim suit
diva. She stares out the
window not understanding how
he doesn't see she's
been the only one there
for him through thick
and thin. She stares out
the window not grasping
what she's missing on
the inside to confront
her crush, but her emotions
scurry away when he
stands before her. She
gazes into his eyes
until the earth crumbles
and fades. She stands
up to him and this
time strokes his cheek
with her eyes flickering
passion before she kisses
him. She finds herself
wrapped in his arms,
pulled tightly against him,
and his aqua blue eyes
sing promises never uttered,
but felt. Kindled spirits.

or sketchpad, or canvas to paint with

still landscapes of lush words

lost horizons hold secret humilities

tall green trees tell terrible tales

lost in blue sky, lost in blue sea

but in the radiant red, in sea of...well...

in this lonely sea of the dead

i take my spot on my throne as king

because here i run and ruin everything

on this backdrop of my life

on this backdrop i am king

Kiss Of Eternity

Kiss Of Eternity

Karyn Indursky

Ruggedly running through orange blossom winds
are fleeting memories of a happier yesterday
as crystal clear skies toothlessly smiles
upon silhouette couples creating fonder futures
with tender romance kisses nipping relentlessly
at the seat of their buttocks while joker laughter
fills the night from stubborn skeptics caving
into fairy-tale dreams believed to be untrue
until Cinderella's glass slipper shoes click
silently, gracefully on Prince Charming's red carpet
outstretched like his hands cupping tea leaf hands
before dipping her backwards while leaning slowly
towards her to claim his long awaited
kiss of eternity.

Kiss Of Romance

Rippling fudge locks twist
tightly down vanilla waffle
skin sprayed lightly with
perfume to tease nostrils
until their eyes meet
willow green eyes speckled
with gold before awed
eyes gape at her
form fitting halter top
locking in nectarine breasts
while accenting lacrosse legs
encased in a tight
painted turtle skin designed
miniskirt before having gawking
males looking at crystal
high heels moving in
tune with her body
as she dances alone
until in walks
a man with smiling
soft amber eyes inviting
her to dance before
arriving before her muscular
body with an extended
business hand putting her
freshly manicured hands around
his awaiting neck while
placing his hands gently
on her narrow hips
for slow dancing around
other couples as her
murmuring fingers itch to
touch his silky bronze
autumn hair making her
willow green eyes wonder
downwards to his moonlight
dress shirt clinging to
bulging muscles fully capable
of holding her tightly
against him as he
pulls her towards his
heart pounding body smelling
delicious to her tongue
licking her shimmering lipgloss
lips as she finds
herself lying her head
tenderly on his broad
shoulder while his black
pants rub against her
intimately until slowly music
fades into silence after
their eyes exchange yearning
and he caresses her
brightly blushing pink cheeks
lovingly before they lean
forward for a precious
kiss of romance.

Kisses Of Rain

Kisses Of Rain

Kisses Of Rain
Karyn Indursky
September 2012

Beneath skies of romance
Princess Kendal stood
with the rain softly caressing
her porcelain skin...

Droplets of emotions stuck
on her eyelashes while
her mind began to float
to clouds of daydreams...

Prince Brad was secretly
standing beneath a weeping willow tree
watching her with his
heart in his throat....

So often had he dreamt
of how her rose petal lips
would feel against his
or how she'd feel in his arms...

Princess Kendal was daydreaming
of how wondrous it would be
to slow dance with prince Brad
or how many times she'd yearned
to slip her hand into his,
but her shyness, memories, blashfulness
had broken her spirit...

Prince Brad saw a tear start to fall
down her fair ivory skin
and this time he couldn't stop himself
from walking up to his damsel....

Velvet tears began to drizzle
from princess kendall's eyes as
her heart began to ache with
desire to break free of worrying
over everything that could go wrong,
everything that had gone wrong,
and consequences of if it didn't work out...

Slowly, Prince Brad fought himself
behind her and without a moment of thought
his arms slipped around her to pull
into his heavenly arms
and everything in the world began
to feel right...

Princess Kendal heaved a gentle sigh
of pleasure to finally be where she'd
longed to be for so long
and with the power of fate
she turned to for their first kiss...

The rain parted for the sun to smile...
The clouds opened their arms with a hug...
and a rainbow of hope was displayed.

her California sun evening
dress without remembering hearing
guitar strings strumming love
out into their enchantment
as she sighs happily
before tightening her arms
around his Andes mint
fresh neck until his

Lack of a Decent Ending

climbing this endless mountain trail to seemingly nowhere

lugging this back pack burden better known as my heart

yet a slight premonition leads one to believe

this tale lacks a happy ending

this tale has no sequel set

ends here

and if she knew, maybe there'd be hope

but when she elarns from an outside source

the blade of the knife will be twice as sharp

abuse of trust may hurt, but lack of faith will kill

Lacking the Traits of a Bird

eyes closed

lid pressed tightly against lid

vision drifting off to foreign images

and films of memories and fatasies

i spread my arms like wings

i pray to some power that they will lift me

but alas, i am not a bird

i can not fly

i can not escape

i can smell the ocean

i can smell her hair

i can smell...

but i can not ever have

walls that build divides

state lines binded to broken hearts

as they, the walls themselves

tear me open, bust my seams

in two hollow pieces

i float off into nothingness

in my head i can see...

but i can never hold onto

it will never be mine

i will never be whole

May the flowers of friendship
turn love and health
into charms of sisterhood.

May the eyes of friendship
lead us into
gardens of communication.

May the branches of friendship
connect us as we sprout
buds of trust.

May the pot of friendship
be nurtured by hands
of hope and prayers.

May our flowers of sisterhood
be fertilitized with soiled
grounds of stability, reliabilility,
and charms of secrets.

May our flowers become
our garden of...

Lamp Of Frankenstein

Lamp Of Frankenstein

Lamp Of Frankenstein
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Once upon a time
there was a Gypsy
riding upon a unicorn...

She was on her way
to visit Frankenstein,
but there was traffic
in the sky with
Goddess Athena riding on Aladdin's carpet,
Scooby-Doo flying Amelia Earhart's plane,
George Jetson in his shuttle,
and Bugs-Bunny in his rocket.

The Gypsy was full of road rage.
She had better things to do
than wait in this traffic jam.

Rage changed to fear
when the plane clipped the unicorn's wing
and Gypsy plummeted to the ground
where a roaring dinosaur was
waiting to eat them.

Shrieks filled the air and Superman
came to their rescue without hesitation,
but unfortunately the dinosaur had
kyponite around his neck.

Spiderman was in the area.
He used his webs, speed, and agility
and was able to be the hero.

The Gypsy was shaken-up
and lost her lamp to deliver
the Genie to Frankenstein,
but with Superman's razor-sharp eyes
they found the lamp.

Together, Superman and the Gypsy
flew to his mansion with lighting speed
only to find out Frankenstein had manipulated
them into giving him the Genie for Evil.

Spiderman and Superman were enraged.
They made Frankenstein rub the lamp
until the Genie was out and
then trapped them both in the lamp
to serve as butler's for-ever-more.

I have thought of suicide then that memory creeps in and then I don't want to die. Thank you lord you're my teacher. Sorry I'm not a preacher. You want me to take your place but compared to you I'm weaker. The devil wants me to think I'm God but I don't believe him. I met God and she loves me so people keep throwing rocks. Don't project your faults on me I'll start not to give a fuck. America has been sold. Now they'll feed on all your hate. They'll try to confuse the tribes just to keep us separated. Saw the Clintons on their knees crying make up off their faces. They seem to confess their sins and then looked rejuvenated. Fuck the media and their tricks. Shadows that only I see. How many people been created by all of the things they see. Yes I love you like a brother yes I love you like a sister. Remember the soul has no gender in specific. Oh my lover give me strength does being humble make me chicken? They want us to go supernova on this existence.

Last Goodbye

i reach out

grasp nothing

grasp empty air

cling onto what i wish i was

not what ive become

not this absolutely desolate wasteland of my soul

the destruction of me

an a-bomb in my heart

wipes it all away

clears me out

turns me to dust

cremated

gone

nothing more than nothing

with absolutely nothing left

nothing inside

nothing more than death

i am one with death

as my remains decay

blowing in the breeze

i make my last goodbyes

Laughing At Hypoglycemia

Laughing At Hypoglycemia

Karyn Indursky

He sits there laughing at me
while my sugar continues to drop
and the sensations of a seizure increase
in my legs from the toes to the top.

He sits there laughing at me
while my sugar proceeds to plummet
and offers me nothing, but
a hollow ringing in my ears.

He sits there laughing at me
while my sugar plunges downwards
like an out of control elevator
on its crash course.

He sits there laughing at me
while my sugar soars lower
and I'm no longer coherent,
but I can hear him in the distance.

He sits there laughing at me
while my sugar swoops like a vulture
gobbling what's left of me,
but I'm trying not to pass out.

He sits there laughing at me
while my sugar lifts a little
after I somehow managed to obtain
some candy and protein.

He sits there laughing at me
while my sugar raises slightly
and in my mind I know
I've survived not with him, but alone.

He sits there laughing at me
while sugars finally balances,
but I've now learned that
he's just like almost everyone else.

Laughter

Laughter

Karyn Indursky

Laughter is the best feeling.
It makes the world complete.
Pain goes away.
Bad feelings vanish.
Peace is made.
Happiness results from laughing.
A smile lights up people's faces.
They don't see flaws.
Time stands still.
All problems are momentarily vanished.
Inner contentment is achieved.
Laughter makes everyone equal.
Differences are forgotten.
Common ground is obtained.
Beauty comes out.
We owe a lot to laughter.

Lavender Rose

I was a seed once

until I had soil and fertilizer

helping me grow

with a poet's hands

molding me into a stem

with little green leaves

sprouting out of me

to hold butterflies and ladybugs

until my lavendar rose

opened it's bud

and I became

your beloved plant.

I'm evil and I'm good, I'm the sun, I'm the moon, I'm an angel, I'm a demon, I'm a comet, that's my semen, women love me cause I'm royal the savior and the destroyer, I open no one can shut it I shut it no one can open, I put down the hammer power doesn't mean a weapon, spiritual soldier, the power of my soul my sword I must be humble, tell everything I've done experience what we call learning, mine is a change struggles demons within, thoughts of ending the time that you have on earth, then learning by getting older, words can have an impact so everything is a story, make a transition combining all of your senses, I don't want to do it alone, achieve and spread blessing, everyone together and helping with what you can, sounds like some dumb shit but that's really the key, imagine we would all be more if colleges were all free, everyone can learn the wisdom of sharing knowledge, advancement but with true purpose.

Learn from the trees

The oil upon my face that has built in such a long duration has a fragrance of non existence, mellow yellow lines mixed with a bright white swirl in my brain as I continue to write, I bite upon my teeth to strain in angst to what event I will have to maintain, I riddle my resoning with insights that have been born within me as a grain of sand enters my ear I reverse the car into a neighbors yard, I discard the evidence and move as if it was all nonsense...It's all nonsense, relinquishing any liquids that contain an ounce of misery, moving about as if I have the control to do it immaculately, funny.

The moon is always out, we just notice it at night, life is always here we just ignore it all the time, we live in a shell that is guarded by fright, the nutcrackers resides in the palm of your hand, and each day of life you gain a little more strength to lift it, maybe someday you'll squeeze, until then learn from the trees.

Melt into colorful days
For jumping into fall.

LEGAL ASSASSINS OR LICENCE TO KILL

The Judicial system is a changing force.
It moves and shapes society into development.
Conversely,

binding it into stagnation,
degrading it into an offensive system.

There is no litigation.
There is no application of legal logic.
There is no proof of merits on a balance of probabilities.

Indeed, this is a fallacy!
The evolution of our society is stagnant.
The well-being of our community held hostage.

The politicians,
the snake oil peddlers have ram sack the law houses.
This is a well oiled machine,
a “Legal Practice” tag team.

A skilled predator,
beguiling its prey with “presumption of innocence.”
Luring their victims into secret slaughter houses.

Capturing the innocent accuse with their deceptive web,
bashing in there face in hidden legal caves.
Inducing a cancerous tumour

into the bonds which binds the people.

Causing the collective,

to devour its members in a cannibalistic orgy.

The skilled debaters are cast aside,
supplanted and replaced

by those who fair open debate;
in open court,
in-front of an open minded tribunal.

To supplement their lack of skill

on the court room floor,
in playing politics.
To play legal football

with the courts consciousness
while ravaging the public purse.

Many legal sins are committed in amoral closets.
Important cases are disembowelled in the dark back rooms.
Necessary matters to develop society are aborted and killed.

Yes, they are murdered in their infancy!
Stagnating necessary social evolution.
Exterminating required community development.

Yet they call themselves Gate Keepers,
protector of the public good.
Lovers of land and country.

They expect in their madness,
the love of the living entity we call society.

In their insanity,
they greet a caged wife as spouse.

Stop abusing her!
Cease and desist from raping her.

Release your strangling death grip

from her fragile pretty neck!

Stop pulling on her broken arm!
Stop kicking her life engorged belly!

You barter allegiance with legal mysticism,
binding your prey with exclusion and confusion.

With unbridled delusion,
you beg for her confidence.
You beg for her love.
You demand her trust.

You burgle her innocence
to rule your stolen domain.

Satisfying a sick pleasure,
squeezing the blood from your dominions

with “unclean hands.”
You forcefully kiss her
and ask her not to tell.

Without any consideration,
we are herded towards a POLICE STATE.

If the guards are killed and the cage is open,
what is to stop the lion from walking out?

Shall I compare thou friendship to a rainbow
where the colors blend skins and tonalities?

When the leprechauns are playing their games
with their green hats and tiny little shoes
sliding their way down their rainbow to claim
thee precious pots of gold in skies so blue.

These tiny men scamper from land to land

thee luck of the Irish blessing boldly
their every whim and protection so grand
that no one dares to take their pot of gold.

Lucky charms of thou leprechauns are granted
to one special child to have whatever

Let go

There's something wrong with me, cause every time I start to fall in love then I leave, got my heart broken twice I don't dare get to three, that's when I decided, the one that's breaking hearts should be me, I am a coward in love always want more than enough, I forgot how to feel it's like my heart is on drugs, I feel numb and alone even when I'm not alone, tricked into believing that to love is to own, I was still young and dumb not much changed now I'm grown, I've been like this for so long everything I do is the norm, listen to samford and sons don't want to bite my own neck, it's time to step out this cave I won't let that reverend win, they call him to beat man, the calling is to be free, indians making it rain and I'm thankful for the wind, spirits that feeling pain I wish they could feel the breeze, their land got taken away and now it's land of the free, of course it's free with a fee, I know I'm already rich not because of what don't exist money can never buy bliss, I'm happy even inside all day I could look at trees, I done gave it all up there is already a beast.

Let It Be Love

It hurts, Oh yes, It hurts a great deal

Is it love?

Only two will ever truly know

Let me tell you

Whatever this may be, Love or not

I will not allow it to stop, I beg of you, Do not let it stop

For the first time in a long time, I can actually feel something

Thaw out my frozen heart for it has been weathered

Much neglect is apparent as cobwebs and dust decorate my heart

I can feel the blood flowing through my veins for you have brought warmth to me

Can you feel it too? Your smile speaks for you

If left uncared for, My heart may fall into a permanent lockdown

What is love? Who has the right to tell us it is not love?

No one else has these feelings for you running through their veins

They do not live and breathe these feelings

Let it be love, Oh I beg of you, Let it be love

For the reason that true love is the only permanent thing in this world

If anything is able to come between the two, Then....

It was never love, Merely lust... A simple infatuation

So I beg of you, Let it be love

If it is not, this wound may be too deep to be healed only by a bandaid.

I was becoming death then Jesus saved me from the devil. That beautiful red bone that I met up with every weekend. She showed me her people enslaving the souls that are waiting. Trying to steal from God, God forgive them their like children. Yet I am no angel but to the saints I'm no stranger. Y'all dig em up and bleed on them but enslaving is not saving. So she cursed my name cause I choose to walk away Yet I know I'll always love her so I accepted that pain.

Lick Of Doom (Haiku)

Lick of Doom (Haiku)

Karyn Indursky

She licks you with her
sandpaper tongue. It tickles at
first. Then, she bites you.

She is purring while
she plays with you. She rolls on
her calico back.

You relax as you stroke
her tender body vibrating
with her affection.

Just as think she
is being tranquil, seasons
change in this feline.

Her paws enclose your
hands. Then, she bites you gently
after she has licked.

Her gorgeous eyes shrink
your inhibitions. You cave
into her demands.

Yet, the more you do
whatever the princess kitten
wants your guard is gone.

This gives access to
her whimsy tendencies
to inflict playing.

Be careful though of
her fickle nature to alter
reposing and play.

You will be rubbing
her ultra soft and cleansely
body as she transforms.

Automatically
surrendering before
the quick lick of doom.

Author's Notes/Comments:

This is about my kitten Pus (Sourpus). She's friendly one second and the next she licks you before she gently bites you to play. It's funny, but at times annoying. No matter what though I love her to pieces.

Life

Life

Karyn Indursky

We go through life since the day we're born.
There's so many decisions.
It's hard to know which path to take.
The choice is ours.

Each path is laid before us.
Do we go for fame and fortune?
Do we go for an average existence?
That's the first step.

The paths branch off.
Do we accept each other?
Do we accept ourselves?
That's the second step.

Each path widens.
Do we take responsibility for ourselves and others?
Do we blame the world and animals?
That's the third step.

The paths spread out.
Do we work together or apart?
Can we do both?
That's the forth step.

Each path broadens.
Do all of us take credit?
Do we give all the credit to God?
That's the fifth step.

The paths narrow.
Do we appreciate accomplishments?
Do we decide that they're not good enough?
That's the sixth step.

Each path comes to a close.
We took the path we close.
There is no wrong or right path.
It's life.

Life's Highway 06/16/08

Life's Highway 06/16/08

Karyn Indursky

My Mom took Conner and me to an appointment this morning. On our journey to our next destination, we witnessed an accident. A male driver was flying on the highway to avoid a red light. He did not slow down or make any attempt to stop. Unfortunately, he ended up colliding with another vehicle. He then ended up hitting a pole, completely flipping his car, and losing various parts of his vehicle. The woman in the other car is physically fine. The gentleman ripped up his elbow pretty bad and appears as though he's going to need surgery. Had he not hit that pole and it been slightly different he would've hit my mom's vehicle. He would've hit my mom's side and that's the same side as Conner sits. Conner was rattled by this from seeing his version from his car seat, I was crying a lot, and my Mom was physically helping out. I saw that man spin out of control and yelled at her to call 911. She did that automatically anyway and did try to stop traffic to help out with the gentleman in the car. She also attempted to console the driver of the other vehicle. The way I see it is that God saved us from being hit by that driver. I also see if that maybe this is God's way of reaching out to the gentleman and trying to have him embrace his religion and begin his life anew. There must be some type of purpose for him to be here or he'd be dead. I also think this is God's way of showing us to slow it down, take precautions, lend that helping hand, and be thankful that it wasn't worse. Believe me, I am very thankful that it wasn't worse. I am glad that the gentleman is the only party injured, that no one died, and we can live to tell about it. I did pray for that gentleman while I sat in the car hoping everyone was all right. I do hope that he survives and takes this as opportunity to make some life alterations. I also hope that the woman will be able to mentally and emotionally deal with this unfortunate situation to the best of her ability. I will keep them in my prayers and I hope you will too.

Having your heart pounding

as you're down on one knee to propose.

Gazing into the eyes

Dining at a restaurant across from

Life's Weather
Karyn Indursky

Despite all the hurdles
blocking rays of happiness
at times when our rain pours
we don't stand alone.

Despite all the obstacles
clouding the sunny smiles
spreading compassion, understanding, sympathy
we will persevere.

Despite all the thunder
ruining laughing mercilessly
upon raw noses and sopping eyes
we will conquer.

Regardless of negativity
pulling us under
until our faith blooms
we are guided by God's forecast.

LIGHT THE FIRE

I met a young lady the other day,

attempting to light a fire.

To serve a noble cause,

enabling hope,

of new beginnings.

She was crafty,

wise,

and a beautiful soul.

She blissfully though

I had fallen off life’s  track

of my own accord.

Or falsely assumed,

my predicament

is of my own making.

I stand guilty as charged,

for fool hearted confidence in the system.

I!

I alone,

is the cause?

But,

consider the real question.

Who stands to benefit?

Surely,

truth is an allusive beast.

I say,

The prognosis was a false positive.

She was an angel

entering a foreign land.

She delicately,

tried to entice me back on life’s rails,

for an existence of meaning,

purpose,

and fulfilment of details.

A very sweet.

Sweet.

Sweet.

Soul,

if ever there was one.

Heaven is her proper place.

Her gentle spirit,

and radiant smile

seemed to cut the deep dark cold.

She was well meaning

with noble intensions.

A young.

Strong.

Knight,

acting with intent,

and delight,

to save an old fool.

She was a fair maiden

whom choose to be one,

to shroud herself in chivalric code,

while basking in all of innocence glory.

But,

Her magnificence is not diminished,

though she should know,

or at least aught to have known;

that the journey of life

Is not always a straight line.

For sometimes,

It throws you a curve.

The path to enlightenment,

It buckles,

and it bends.

Twisting trough valleys,

and curving  around mountains;

a quest for the faithful,

forced by fate,

and fashioned by the Oracle in grace.

If one learns life lessons,

and reads the silent meanings.

May God’s mercy,

make us a better race.

My pretty little angel,

A raging fire is necessary

to forge steel!

A high temperature,

with lots of pressure,

to make diamonds real.

Rubies,

and so-forth,

is bound by hell fire

in the planets belly.

Before Mother Earth

expels precious gems,

giving birth .

But I am still grateful

 for the small blessings;

your warm heart,

and the gentle cares of my intelligence.

You matter,

my noble Friend!

You matter.

I acknowledge your cause.

I saw my Friend another day.

She volunteered in a soup kitchen.

Serving.

Sharing.

Giving,

of what little she had.

I felt inspired!

There was a tiny

tingle

with a bit of warmth,

right about there.

It smouldered a bit,

then simmered,

crackle,

and popped into a flickering flame.

I can conquer.

I know my name!

My skin was burning,

my blood was boiling,

my brain was baking.

My organs,

erupted into raging flames.

I felt rejuvenated!

Peace and tranquility washed over me.

My problems were no more of a problem.

My trials,

and tribulations;

well,

they were there;

orphaned,

without an invite to the party,

for I was blessed.

I have discovered myself.

My mind transcend the present state of things,

to rise above human problems,

if God is willing

or according to her Devine plan.

The Hardship of life,

has always been there,

It will always be there.

Tribulation is a necessity of life.

The sculptures knife,

carves us.

The potters fingers,

molds us.

The artist brush,

paints us into unique individuals.

We are defined by our experiences.

Genetics is only  half the story,

the inevitable swim in the social cesspool is the other.

You have discover yourself.

I am,

who I am.

You are who you are,

and we can be no  other.

Tragedy,

Is the price for being different.

social evils,

Is the cost of individuality.

Or is individuality,

the cost of social evils?

The debt for uniqueness must be paid.

Low and behold,

we have discovered ourselves.

Let us celebrate!

I feel like doing yoga,

bring it on.

Sun salutation in the morning,

to find my happy place.

Happy baby pose at high noon,

 to smooth,

and calm the human creature.

Warrior pose in the evening,

to induce strength,

to be strong,

to protect my vitality.

For I plan on living long with quality.

Now,

close your eyes.

Rest.

Relax.

Release.

Breath deeply.

Breath long,

to restore balance.

Now I am at peace.

Thank you my angel,

Recall I said;

“You matter.”

You matter still,

For you inspire!

Light To Heaven

Light To Heaven

Karyn Indursky-2013

From blue curtain eyes
watching her silently fade
as she detaches herself from life...

Her eyes to her soul
close when you think she's sleeping,
but in reality she's slipping
into the acceptance of losing
the battle to cancer.

Drifting between life and death
she can't sip from a straw,
but needs a sponge to keep
her mouth moist, her body hydrated,
but incapable of taking her medications
and pains ripple through her...
not only physically, but mentally and emotionally.

Finding a path
from past, present, and an unknown future,
we travel not alone,
but with God guiding the way,
catch riveting tears,
and help light faith.

Like Butterflies (abstract)

Like Butterflies (abstract)

Karyn Indursky

Grant me rippling wind
beneath beautifully decorated wings
for flying above clouds
and all around while
I'm exploring unknown terrorities
before resting upon delicate
flower petal leaf beds
moments ahead of swooping
fishnet catchers trying to
capture me and laughter
erupts from children's mouths
with their flapping arms
pretending to be free
like butterflies.

Like this like that

I used to think these words came from me therefore they were me
These words are not me and never can they be
They just flow
From a form withing the formless
The formless that sees the form in it's entirety
Yet is it all the same
Like the stain on the cloth
Like the ship and the dock
Like the water and fire
Like the saint and the robber

Control is a force that dares you to fight with
In every nook and every cranny it is there
Gripping everything in vision
Like a stone demon
Born when I do not know
There's one date that can be discovered
And that is it's end
All it takes is your willingness

Lilly Love

Lilly Love

Karyn Indursky

I will plant a seed and let
it grow. I will bond with my seed
as turns into a plant. I will
talk to my lilly as she grows
from my love and dedication. I
will allow her to grow outside
when she is too big for her
pot. I will paint her beauty
with delicate words to express
all she has given to me. I
will have pictures of us taken
together for memories to last
life time. I will tuck my flower
behind my ear not to make me
decorated, but possesses a friend
with me at all times. I will love my
beloved flower until she dies,
and, when she does die,
I will still love her. When I get into
heaven, I will hug my flower or
what I have blessed with as
my friend.

This poem symbolizes how I've grown my friendship with my dear friend, Amy Riberdy.

LILY OF THE VALLEY

Lily,

you will be dearly missed

with your radiant smile

in the early morning time,

is just prime.

“Filwoha,”

at best

you became my silent secret treasure chest.

That deserves much needed rest.

In the short,

but blessed season

it stand to reason.

I failed to know your mind.

Your distinct royal African glide

across an unfamiliar place,

like a precious blue diamond piece

passing through a garbage heap.

Your soft gentle elegance

with your hypnotic Shewa accent

has given me an intoxicating taste

of your unforgettable place.

I have heard a few line

on the wind of time,

that you are a child of Entoto.

But I deeply wish

to voyage to ancestral grounds,

and see the foot of the Mount,

to plant some lilies in the valleys.

I hope one day

you will go back home,

and take me on your return way

in the coming month of May.

I heard you are from Addis Ababa

chosen by Empress Taytus

and founded by Menelik II in 1886.

Etiopia the original home of man,

a breathing land,

where mountains stand erect

like perky breast

in defence of a mighty people too long at rest.

The enormous hills

swell with fat from the land

like engorged nursing mammary glands.

Where the mountain of the moon

spills her milk into the continuous birthing of the nile

flowing from south to north

feeding the land as the river grows wild.

Many have tried to take her

and many have died protecting her.

For the land fights back

in fighting for her Clan.

So take me home

to where the animals roam,

and the Stone-Church sits

among the ancient runen.

Take me home

to my original home

where mankind was born

in the age of stone.

Take me home

to my linguistical home

where all phonetic chirp

is known,

and the alphabet hints

at a true “Rosetta-Stone”

in language-sounds

which can be easily found.

Take me home

to where the “Tree of Life”

bury her roots in black loam,

and “Lucy” left

her beloved nest.

Ten

ten thousand years ago

on her world quest.

Take me home

to your realm

where the “Ark of the Covenant” rest

without protest.

To be free from the distress

of four hundred years of

being suppress.

So I can truly rest.

I remember the night at the party clearly.
It seems like only yesterday, but it wasn't.
There were things that I never got to tell you after
that night.
Now, I'm going to give you a piece of my mind.
Listen up, even though you didn't before.
Maybe, you can learn something and grow up.
\It's not all right or okay to...toy with my heart,
play with my emotions, lie to me, make yourself
look innocent when you're not, act as though
nothing happened, pretend like you don't know me
anymore, have me look like the "bad guy",
use me to get to someone else, screw with
my feelings, play head games, think you're better
than everyone else, lie to get others to be on
your side, talk the talk without walking the walk,
act one way around others for a show and go on to
act entirely different with me later, give me
false compliments, and, most importantly, be honest
instead of using lies in your behavior, and lines.

Give me what I want.

Ignore my demands.
Do what you want. Please, don't go.

Lips Of An Angel

Karyn Indursky

She's smitten by his
eyes and smile, but he
hasn't even taken notice.

She dreams of slow dancing
in his arms while resting
her head upon his chest.

She wants to hold his hand
as they stroll under moonlight
by waterfalls before watching the sun rise.

She wants to run into his
arms as he watches her
and his heart pounds with anticipation.

She wants to touch his heart
as he has her, but he's too
busy seeing her as a friend.

She wants to show him
that she's more than one of the guys
with candlelight and dinner for two.

She yearns to kiss him
passionately for he has the
lips of an angel.

Listening with heart

Perfectly Ordinary, this scene of life
Grass and leaves weaving
The moon on the rise

Automaton lungs breathing in
breathing out
As the pen in my hand pours words
like water from a spout
I don't doubt that this world
is uniquely a dream
Recently, I don't doubt much anything
What is there to doubt?

Everything is moving as it always is
yet what makes it seem real
is far from abyss

Subtle breezes greet my ear
Roaring over multiple ambiances
quite near

Water trinkles, voices bloom, the sun tickles, the evening gloom
Seeking love
being kind
oh how it seems......so hard to find
but when I stop
and as I sit
Only then......I see
what I have missed
Always here....Never gone
Awareness now, and forever on.

Loving what is is loving "I".

Live to Die

Life persists even when time is tried to be stopped

Memories are sewn, locked into place

To forever look back upon

Wishing to turn back down that road

What a life we live, never realizing certain moments

Moments of total pain, are actually moments of pure glory

Enduring and lasting are what makes up the story

Life still goes by, every second, minute, every year

Living for the world, blood, sweat, and tears

Who wants to live the most?

Who can endure the most pain for a lifetime of glory?

We love the people who make the pain seem a little less painful

And a lot more worth it

Pushing, motivating, dying for each other

From the moment it starts we all know that we are going to die

Delirious with pain, but life still goes on

Soon it will all be over with

We will cross that line that will grant us the glory that we deserve

Everything we have ever worked for in our lives comes down to that single moment

Who wants to live the most?

No one ever truly lives until they have died

From the moment that we die, we realize what is to truly be alive.

Author's Notes:
This poem was written after going to junior nationals for rowing. Every race I row are some of the most painful moments of my entire life. "what rowers confront is an abyss of pain, which opens up in the second mintue of the race. large needles are being driven into your thigh muscles, while your forearms seem to be splitting. then the pain becomes confused and disorganized, not like the windednees of a runner or the leg burn of the biker but an all over, savage unpleasantness. as you pass the five-hundred meter mark, with three-quarters of the race still to row, you realize with dread that you are not going to make it to the finish, but at the same time the idea of letting your teammates down by not rowing your hardest is unthinkable...therefore, you are going to die. welcome to this life."

Log Cabin Sisterhood

Log Cabin Sisterhood

Karyn Indursky

Once upon a time
Maiden Dove lived in a pink castle,
where the king and queen
were mean, insensitive, and selfish.

Day after day
they'd trash the place
expecting her to clean it
in raggy brown clothes.
Her heart sunk like an achor
from being enslaved, lonely, and unappreciated.

One midnight blue night,
her neighbor, Tia, came over
in search of her lost puppy, T-bone.
T-bone found Dove crying
and singing a sad song.
He licked her face
as she cried into him,
unbottling all her emotions.

Tia joined them and their conversation
bloomed like rosebud sisterhood.
Together they got her stuff,
slayed an indigo blue dragon,
and moved into a log cabin house
where sisterhood tranformed them into
beautiful, courageous women who lived happily ever after.

Loneliness

Thunder cracks at my window,

Lightning calls at my door,

Staring at this lonely day,

Who is crying tears of pain,

The only to know the loneliness,

And to never have anything to gain,

If it falls,

Let it burn,

Do you not see the fight deep inside?

Of a world so twisted and scarred,

A barren place,

Hiding its face,

Begging for a friend.

Lonely In Heaven (Tanka)

Lonely In Heaven (Tanka)

Karyn Indursky

Alone in heaven.
I'm missing you like crazy.
Counting down the time.
Wanting to rekindle love.
I'll wait an eternity,

Author's Notes/Comments:

I think most people tend to think that when you get to heaven you're not lonely because you're reuniting with old ancestors, friends, loved ones you lost along the way or before you were even born. However, I think it'd be very lonely to be in heaven without the loved ones on Earth. All you'd want is to hold them, hold their hand, give them a kiss, walk with them, laugh with them, but all you'd have is air. It's tragic to think of all the pain and suffering brought forth by this and so I wrote this poem.

Lonely Soul

Empty spaces, familiar places,

Putting lies in my memories,

Vanishing into thin air,

They always say life isn't fair,

Cause I'm falling so low,

And I can't seem to breathe,

The sky still looks like heaven,

To this lonely soul,

Little girls and big boys belong together,

Caught up in these dangerous endeavors,

Losing themselves piece by piece,

Little girls only know lies,

Big boys know how to lie,

Know how to make angels cry,

Cause I'm falling so low,

And I can't seem to breathe,

The sky still looks like heaven,

To this lonely soul.

Long ago

Oh my lord, I know your story since before I was born, I was a good boy always going to church, curious one trying to peek in the hearse, someone I didn't know I would walk up to the casket, I wanted to see them rest in peace and not the way that I knew death everybody went blasting, their family would look at me like who the fuck is this kid, who walked in from the street still nobody said anything, never been afraid of death but I was always terrified of the statues that were kept in the basement, they would move and stand still at the same time I don't know how to explain it, run out of the building then walk all the way home, that was then and it feels like so long ago.

Long live the city

I'm not for politicians. Y'all need to get it right. I'm for the one stocking shelves working overnight. Because we're crazy right? Probably not that bright and those demons make you gossip like a soul that can't find the light. Almost about that time. Faithful lover in the sky all will be alright. This is truly a lady. Nature is a whore pour toujours fidèle. It's time to come together. They want to seal the bridge I say why if it's America. We need a miracle. I'll watch what they do. If I have to I'll call upon the generals to fight for truth. For land and country. Not for the beast. Brothers and sisters come together. Come and see.

i struggle through the hallways of my life

bustling, busy corridors

the mind doesnt stop

the world wont slow down

i try to grapple onto the wall

as the destructive winds pull me away

dragging me

kicking me

pushing me off the wall

shoving me over the edge

falling

i failed

i try to fly

again, i fail

the thorns below pierce my body

tattooed in my own blood

and i lay here

cold

If you need inspiration
turn to music.

When you need guidance

carving into my heart, like a tender piece of meat

as i lay here i bleed out onto the pavement

my fracture skull pouring fluids upon the street

while i bleed and slowly fade out

the comforting smell of fresh blood soothes me

calms my soul into acceptance

im dying, always have been

finally the end is near, and for the first time

i am exstatically overjoyed and happy

Looking Back

Looking back

Karyn Indursky

Looking back onto the roads, which were ever so bumpy,
I can't help, but smile because not only did we exceed
our expectations, but also found ourselves, each other,
and God.
Looking back onto the roads, which were ever so bumpy,
I can't help, but smile because we kept each other
and our faith even when we didn't know or think
that we could make it and we did with God.
Looking back onto the roads, which were ever so bumpy,
I can't help, but smile because it's bringing forth
a bright tomorrow with never-ending possibilities
in the wanders of this previous gift of love and life.

Lost

You say that you love me

Yet I feel like you hate me

You say that you want me

Yet you want nothing to do with me

You say we are meant to be

Yet you push me away

You say that you treat me like a princess

Yet I feel as though I am caged

You say that you will always be there

Yet here I am feeling so lost

Lost and Found

I have lost my vision

Lost my ability to look into my imagination and draw up youthful exuberance

Once upon a time, I could feel the freedom of a soaring spirit….

Unfettered mind

A flag flying not in tatters….instead clean and brand new

The winds that blew then were fresh and full of bright sunlight….

The smell of springtime evergreen trees

I never knew then…. back when I felt so old….

So wizened

Time would drag me down

Here and now on the ground held here by reason and logic

I cannot help but see everything with a bitter, cynical clarity

The moments are few, and too soon forgotten, when my heart soared

I can only explain that feeling of elation

Everything forgotten except the excitement and anticipation of another day

No longer do I feel the freedom of abandonment

I yearn for those feelings as I yearn to be in the forest

Away from time, concrete, people and the smell of society’s decay

Amid the animals with the birds flying overhead

The cry of the crow

A warning of mans intrusion

The thunderous sound of the flapping wings of a grouse as it takes flight

Startled by unfamiliar footsteps

The sound of pine needles and leaves crackling underfoot

I feel the earth beneath my feet and I smell the rain in the trees

The cold air in my lungs feels like satisfaction and completion

I am here finally…. out of space and time

Worries and troubles left behind

There is quiet in my mind

A soundness of emotion and an affirmation of being

On the horizon all that I see is filled with clear new perception

Clean and fresh...new

Snow upon the mountain and an eternal sky before me

The sun sitting low on the mountain tops in hues of pinks, purples and blues

As time intrudes a realization that the vision remains, distance keeps me sane....and

I am here with a fresh outlook and my center still holds strong and alive....revived

Author's Notes:
I always find a new perspective in the wlderness whether riding a horse or simply walking aimlessly.

Lost Between

Lost Between

By Karyn Indursky

The cracks of life are swallowing
me whole...
day by day...
night by night.
My innocence, corruption, purity,
insecurity, confidence, protection, love,
anger, hate, fate, destiny, and all that
completes me falls through the holes of the cracks.
I try to catch these pieces into my open
palms of my hands, but all I catch are
bitter, hurt, regretful
falling...
falling...
falling tears.
Upon these hands of mine I have nothing
left to give, but I'm not here to receive, either.
I'm here to take back all that has been
lost between.

Lost Dreams

She sits with her dreams plastered on her wall,

Thinking what can I ever do to get it all,

Timid and afraid of the world outside,

She sits in her room admiring the pictures in magazines,

Everyone always told her she was too little to have such big dreams,

So as she sits and she cries,

Wondering why,

Why no one believes,

No one to hold her tight,

A parent missing to kiss her good-night,

Not a single person to tell her the rules,

That's why as she flips through the pages she drowns herself in the bottle,

In the arms of a broken home,

Too full of shame,

And she can't take the pain,

Violently she throws the bottle at the wall,

It shatters like her dreams,

Alcohol has stained her soul,

But she doesn't care,

Not a single person wonders if she's alright upstairs,

So she sits on her floor in a puddle of beer,

Refusing to cry another tear,

There is now a hole in the wall, that once held her dreams.

Lost in a Dream

Shade covers sky

Lost in a dream

I'll do you one better

A paradise

Known as a beach

No terrors will possess

Each fragment of hope

Lost in a dream

A sliver of time

A safe harbor

Mine, all mine

Greedy? No

Troubled? Yes

Begging for peace from quiet

Lost in a dream

Permanent surrender

To a world where I control the thunder

Terrible tides crash cleverly upon sandy shores

While not a single cloud graces the sky

With its magical presence of marvelous mystery

Lost in a dream

As raging rain magnificently materializes

Through thin air

Winds weaken my grip

My eyes begin to slip

     Vanishing

     There is no more.

Lost In A Moment

Lost in a Moment

Karyn Indursky

Music plays
and I am lost.
I'm feeling
the power
of something
heart felt.
I'm hearing
music
from the souls
of individuals
working together
in a band.
They want
to free
their souls
and put their all
into their work
or moreover pleasure.
They want
to let lyrics
roll off
their thoughts
into words
into lyrics
into beats
and rhythm
into a song.
Combined,
it's powerful
and deep in a profound
way of expressionism.
As I realize
and feel all of this,
I'm
lost in a moment.

down soggy cheeks
in rivers of pain

when knowing her high heeled feet

sitting on her porch swing
as her long bare legs
graze in fading sunlight
while chilly honeysuckle breezes
tickle her fire hydrant yellow
strands of hair drifting loosely
around her Hawaiian dress
as she slowly lets her
sailboat soul drift away to be
lost to rejection.

Love Ado

Love Ado

Love Ado
Karyn Indursky
August 2012

Once upon a time Princess Lillian was flying
in her blimp to sail the skies
to see cotton-soft clouds....

But Baby Cupid was sitting amongst
the ivory clouds playing with
his bow and arrow....

When all of a sudden
the arrow ripped and shot
the blimp with the speed of light...

The blimp popped....
Magic fell from the arrow into Lillian....
And towards the ground she went.

Sebastian was chillin' on a park bench
when Princess Lillian fell to the ground
and her eyes danced with love
when looking into his.

Love sparkled her spirit
and she wrapped on her dress
with dainty grace
before she sat next to him.

Sebastian was startled and concerned.
He looked into her violet eyes
and inquired, "Are you okay dear?"

Lillian gazed at him,
twirled her hair on her finger,
and replied, "With you here I couldn't be better."

Sebastian was shocked at her response,
but it was time for him to get back to work
and got to leave.

Princess Lillian was head-over-heels in love.
Hearts fluttered from her eyes to her toes.
She decided to follow him wherever he may go.

Sebastian was too busy talking on his cell phone
to notice Lillian following him
with petals of daffodils thrown before his every step,
every puddle covered with her blanket,
and an umbrella protecting him from drizzles of rain.

Thunder crackled the sky...
Rain began to pour...
Lightening struck a pine tree....

Sebastian was oblvious to Princess Lillian
trying to help him,
but managed to get back to work.

Unfortunately, Lillian, stumbled
over the tree and whacked her head
with a thud.

Her secret admirer, Prince Salem, oversaw
the mishap and went to her aid
with a helping hand.

He had been talking walk
through the park without her
love sick eyes noticing him
and didn't understand why
she'd been acting so strangely.

She's not like he knew her
or she knew him
or he appreciated the effort
she putting forth to assist him.

Heck, he didn't know the power
of her smile, laughter, or
beauty of her soul?!

Baby Cupid had been secretly
watching the dilemma unfolding
in the park, but he was only a baby
and couldn't fix the broken arrow.

Princess Lillian had whacked her head so hard
she began to see stars sparkling
with a black background.

Prince Salem noticed that look
and with a kiss only a true love
could provide gave her
a butterfly kiss with
the passion to not only heal her,
but break the spell.

Princess Lillian looked into Prince Salem's eyes
as though seeing him for the first time
and the magic of their love
fixed Cupid's arrow.

Love Bites

Karyn Indursky

Long fingernails glide through
soft baked pineapple hair
tenderly while watching glazed honey
eyes fill with vivid memories
of daddy's moist lips taste testing
her craned neck seductively while
sneaking his thick fingers deep inside
delicate lips spreading involuntarily
under applied pressure readying
for his dominant mouth to
suckle throatily upon melon breasts
heaving in constant terror
mistook for forbidden lust
when he slides his long, rigid cock
into her plump tomato groaning sorrowfully
before buckling upwards in grinding
against his thrusting hips rhythmically
in a bittersweet blues song loudly
to muffle her pleading dilating eyes
sucking in swift breathes one last time
towards giving her all in getting
milkshake thick milk out of his
penis for gaining back her temporary freedom
once again when he leaves
shattered pieces of soul to rot
every time she glimpses in a mirror
mournfully at shamefully seeing traces of his
love bites.

TAKE CARE AND PLEASE KEEP ME UPDATED ON THOSE PRECIOUS MOMENTS OF CONNER'S LIFE..

LOVE YOU..
CINDY
Dear Cindy:
I spend most of my time being frustrated and frazzled, but that doesn't stop me from appreciating the little things he does that are so cute, precious, sweet. I love watching him walk all around the house. He's actually outgrown his size 4 diapers and I had to exchange them for the next size up yesterday. It's not because of his weight that makes him ready for them, but rather the quantify of leakage. Plus, the diapers were starting to leave him red marks from being too small and it was irritating his skin. These diapers fit him a lot better and seem to be making a big difference. I definitely wouldn't say that I'm anywhere near being the best mother in the world, but I try to do what I can and try to show him and tell him that I love him as often as I can. It's truly flattering to have someone as kind and sweet as you complimenting me though and it really means more than you'll ever know. I don't really get any compliments. Such is life. But when I do receive compliments from people who I care about dearly such as yourself it means that much more.
                                               Your Friend,
                                                       Karyn

Love will guide you through

Love will guide you through

Karyn Indursky

Love will guide you through everything.
You just have to open yourself up to it.
You need to trust, learn, accept, forgive.
You deserve to smile, love, be loved, succeed.
You may find this hard, but believe me, honey,
it's worth it.
When you love yourself, others, animals, and things
in this chaotic life of obstacles
you have the world
right in the palms of your hands.
Let go
of the sorrow, hallowness, hatred, deceit.
Let love in and have it guide you to a magical life.

LOVE YOU TO DEATH

Out of fear and ignorance

we inevitably destroy

what we nobly

try to save for our-self

with good intent.

But not from ourselves!

Recursive prisons!

Cages within more cages!

Causing us to barter bits of our souls,

and be bound to the covenant

of a perverted ring.

We do this because

of buried things we can’t except

about our own self.

Deep seated self hate!

Because the one who is so dear to us!

We foolishly cut away a large part

of our own heart,

and discard the very thing

that made us whole.

Love Your Spouse‏

  • Love Your Spouse‏

    Karyn Indursky

When you're lucky enough
to have a man
who loves you
or is dating
or is your b/f
feel blessed and cuddle up with him.

When you're blessed to be married,
exchange vows and have rings be
respectful, loving, affectionate, faithful, and
thank God you found the right man.

Being loyal is imperative
and not to be snubbed.

You don't flirt, kiss, sleep with, anyone
besides your spouse.

It is a commitment to
your spouse, yourself, if you have a child or children,
and those vows are God's grace and
blessing for a monogamous relationship.

Love's Disillusionment

Love's Disillusionment
Karyn Indursky

Love's disillusionment is believing
you love someone who hurts
you with words and actions.

Love's disillusionment is believing
you have a boyfriend or girlfriend
when you don't have their contact information
nor have hung out as friends
or been on a date.

 Love's disillusionment is believing
you're engaged when there's no ring
upon your finger and all it is the rumor-mill
working overtime.

I'm a dreamer
with my head
in God's hands
dreaming of His
happily-ever-afters
and embracing unconditional
love to pour
upon beloved others
to reciprocating emotions
where the world
is our savior
when we never
truly fail, but
learn lessons to
become God's sprinkled
rainbow of hope.

Love's Pieces?

Love's Pieces?

Love's Pieces?
by Karyn Indursky
11/17/08

I saw a prize in you,
but I got shortchanged.
Now, I have nothing,
but a broken heart
and long term regrets.
My heart is a jigsaw puzzle
you spilled upon the floor
except you never made me
whole like the picture
I yearned for.
I don't know if I can handle
moving on without you
for you are my master
and I your puzzle
to be constructed
for a happily ever ending
that isn't meant to be.
Fear leaves me
feeling rejected and unable
to even get a glimpse
of someone else to
put me together again
for my heart, soul, body
lies with you,
no other.
I'm tired of being an
unfinished puzzle,
but the thought of another
neglecting my feelings, thoughts, desires
is too much to risk
after risking everything
for you.
I may have glimpsed
what I thought to be mine,
but unfortunately I was wrong
and now I am in shambles
while you dance in the arms
of your lover,
but one day someone else
will help mold me
into the masterpiece
I have the potential to be
and I will give my all
to the person is meant for more
than a waltz,
but an eternity of mutual love.

Love. What is it?

Love
What is it?
Is it a thing?
Is it a feeling?
Is it someone?
Is it life?
Is it worth dying for?
Is it worth pain?
What is it really?
The meaning of it?
What ever it is, you just don't know the difference between love and lies
You cant just lie and tell someone you love them when you don't
It doesn't work like that
Because you obviously don't know the real definition of love
And if you did, you never would've said "I love you" to me
Never would've said it to someone you don't care about
Why were you with me if you just don't care
Why be with me if you're not gonna make it worth your while
Whatever the definition of love is....
...You're not smart enough to realize that
You don't just say those three little words for fun
You say it if you really mean it
Not say it then lie and cheat
So in the end...
You only wasted your breath saying things you don't mean
But...ehh...oh well...doesn't hurt me none
But I still have one question:
Love
What is it?

Author's Notes:
i dont really know the point of this poem...a heartbreak? or a random poem tryin to figure out what love really is?

Lovers

My ex was my greatest the latest my fall from grace. I love her so much that I had to let her go I couldn't have her but that hurt me so damn much that I pointed out her faults. I have apologized and thought that I had told you. I hope that all your dreams come true you know I do. As long as you write I'll write back to you. Want my love, you want to shine get with me baby they'll say you're glowing. My lovers will tell you. How the homeless will walk up and ask if you're an angel. Yo! don't pay me any attention. Be everything I need. My light, my air, my weed. A friend indeed.

Lovers Torture.

My bones seem to reverberate,
Oh, please God, stop the shakes.
Someone should offer my place.
Something must be an escape.

Don't give me any more wine,
I know you're not this kind.
Stop feeding my rage;
Just let me out of this cage.

Such heavy manacles on my wrists.
Why do you have to torture me like this?
Can't you just leave me alone?
I said go!

Don't give me any more food.
I'd rather starve than be with you.
Stop feeding my hatred.
Just end this; tear me to shreds.

You should shut it; I'm not fine.
I'm not a fool to your lies.
No, it's not you I need.
Go away and leave me be!

Don't leave a rose when you go.
It holds your fragrance; and with that I will not cope.
Stop trying to give me love,
When I die I'll send you torture from above.

Is that a knife at my thigh?
Hurry and say goodbye.
His forked tongue makes my stomach churn.
What I'd give for my head to turn.

Don't feed my fear.
I'd cut off your face to get rid of that leer.
Stop grinning at my threats.
You won't be laughing when I'm holding your neck.

What I'd give to make your death slow.
I know you're alive; the voices told me so.
Just my imagination?
I'll show you abomination!

Don't you free my life.
Hell, if you do you'd better hide that scythe.
Stop unlocking the manacles from me.
Screw you; this isn't funny!

Ah, gods, run home!
Hurry up, leave me alone.
Please, please, run faster!
Can't you see you've created a monster?

You know what? Never mind.
I've already cleaved into your life.
Now that I've got your heart,
I'm going to tear you apart.

Loving energy

May these words strip you of all you believe
To return home and realize your freedom

So smell the love in a breeze
So see the light

We continue upon on a path that can't exist
And on this path is you who can't exist
The thorns resting on your head
the troubles you take to bed
Await 'you' on this path

Around and round'
And around and around
Are thoughts orchestrating their own sounds
Omitting the birds the wind and the steps
Of the people who move following the promises they've kept
Of the ones who drown in sorrow
and how we have wept

The fog that lingers in front your eyes
The dawn of an awakening that longs
to be recognized

An illusion is the most difficult prison to escape
From the birth of our understanding is immense confusion that we undertake

Who is the one that beats your heart I ask?
Does one do it by mere will power?
Are we afraid to let that love shower?

Deeply inside the realm of your being
Is there the most clearest of seeing

Surrender yourself
the self you think to be you
You have the power to do it
Have the courage to be truth
Allow harmony to sweep you into the unknown
You can do nothing more great than returning home

Home is within
Home is without
Home is everywhere where there is no doubt
In with the all and out with it too
Radiate the great
You're forever new

These shadows we hold is merely control
I don't wanna lose this gift
this life
This is my life
But whose life?
Who are you?
Really

Who beats your heart I ask again?
All 'you' will ever control is the prison of illusion.

Loving Poetry

Dip my pen into adjectives.
dunk my quill pen into adverbs.
Caress my paper with semi colons.
Love my parchment with verbs.
Hold my eraser with confidence.
Tug on my patience with prepositions.
Enjoy my music with subjects.
Dance next to my keyboard with themes.
Prance through my work with achievements.
Embrace my poetry with emotions.
Lavish my findings with ideas.
Embroider my ideas with thoughts.
Hem my thoughts with transitional threads.
Knit my threads with stanzas.
Encourage my writing by holding my hand.

LOVING TIME

I stand upon the life that surrounds my very body
But I am so so much more
and so are you
Just stay true
And it'll be as clear as a moment such as now
Take a bow
you're part of a cloud
that's the very sky itself
be proud
as the sun descends
the night takes over gradually with ease
As the moon settles in it's place
The life I am unconditionally emits
Wine consumes me
But I am completely aware
And I feel bare
Simplicity orbits all that will ever be
See that you and me are not so different
at all really
Just be being
don't be silly
the problems you create
the hate you create
jsut a fixation on what is not great
even though it's always there
just be here
and don't steer away from your truth.

Loving You

Loving you

By Karyn Indursky

Loving you is losing me to a whole new world.
Everything is fresh, new, raw. Emotions are
splattered everywhere. Loving you is making
me change. I'm starting to feel, realize, see
new things. I'm seeing old things in a whole
new way. I'm being coerced into dealing with
things. Loving you is moving me past what I
know or thought I did. It's making me learn
and grow in so many ways, but I'm nowhere
close to being perfect or done in my
maturing. Loving you is showing me things
about you, too. I'm getting closer and
closer to knowing the you behind the shield.
I can even feel the love pouring
from you in every look, touch, and when you're
listening. Loving you is giving me
to you and you to me. It's what I want
and I think you do, too. So, let's continue
loving each other and see what the future brings our way.

Loyalty and lack ... frozen in habit

my condolences to all who think the way I do...Rapid denial..limited truth

I take the hard way when I pull out my tooth, slowly and painfully, never in one move.

Through the leaves on the branches on the tree on the ground, is a picture that sounds like a variety of sounds, some noisy, some smooth, delicate or grooved, it's moving effortlessly and all of it's true.My conolences to those who live from interpretation, it never is justified and leaves you in lack.

My respitory system is what stives me to keep on. Because it's natural and I'd rather not tamper with that, it's the only stability that seems to have my back. The only loyalty I think I will ever have.

Lumberjack Firely

Lumberjack Firefly

Karyn Indursky

Spun sand hair blows delicately
in the wind with tire swinging eyes
laughing. Her lady bug legs pump
to touch picked pumpkin skies
while she daydreams. Daisy soft
hands hold on to climbed tree
ropes. Harmonic giggles escape
her sun ripened plum lips when
her chained popcorn sandals fall
off her painted canned cranberry
toes. Higher and higher she goes
as she closes her eyes to imagine
flying in campfire skies like
a lumberjack firefly.
