I feel like standing and: I feel like standing and applauding. Every word of your compelling and unflinching stand against a very unenlightened society rings true and beautiful. I actually got chills. An earth-shaking and unforgettable commentary. Bravo!
I understand the urge to: I understand the urge to write a poem like this, and it reminds me of Stevens' elegy (one of two) about himself, "The Planet On The Table," but the reality is that you are not yet in the past tense (as your first line implies). And in this case, the reader is more informed than the poem, because the reader is aware of the greatness you have already demonstrated on postpoems, although the poem barely, if at all, touches upon that.
Awwwwwweeesome: Rain memories - we all have them. I don't use this word often but this eas LOVELY! Experiential poetics, "...kind of like the rain."

the Spring vent m'thinks: That's the anger talkin', I was really skinny as a kid and they picked me last a lot. Reflecting on that (and how far I've come with my and somebody else's share of firsts) I threw a few words at a past that helped to shape me. Glad you liked it.
That boredom is not to be: That boredom is not to be discounted. I remember reading about a group of five friends who were bored in the summer of 1816, and turned to writing to alleviate their boredom. The only story completed out of that effort was expanded into a novel, published anonymously in 1818, under the title, Frankenstein, and has never been out of print.
Honestly, I'd be extremely: Honestly, I'd be extremely interested to read your note. But the funny thing is, my technique for this "eerie dystopian" was actually pure boredom and the desire to write something when seriously nothing was on my mind.
Revisiting one of my: Revisiting one of my favorites. This is very valuable guidance with an absolutely perfect title and a serene flow, and it inspires me to take that bittersweet, magical journey where everything is right again. Enchanting work.
The cause is greed indeed: I've been forced into the psyche ward several times; so I know what you mean. The medical establishment is contrived of evil ignorance that blindly pursues a sort of torture, even sacrifice of innocent people who are simply trying to discern our confusing reality. It's very sad; but simultaneously intriguing to witness first hand as an enlightened patient when the nurses cant see beyond their own violent aims.
