I loved you so

The heavens cried that fateful night,

Pouring on me reddened skies,

Shone upon by one true light,

This blackened heart of mine,

Held me down in a pool of blood,

Like the devil of hell would,

And my tears here form the flood,

Drowning far from here,

Look upon me one last time,

‘Fore you leave, before you go,

And take with you these words of mine,

I loved you so.

The thunder shook the whole of me,

Tore from me reality,

Stars fell down and murdered me,

Like lightning through my soul,

Kissed upon by the harshest rain,

Killing me again and again,

If this love would still remain,

The storm would be gone

Look upon me one last time,

‘Fore you leave, before you go,

And take with you these words of mine,

I loved you so.

Listen now before I die,

Let the tears inside you cry,

The darkest fears are your lies,

I have to go,

Silence fills this part of me,

Throws away my destiny,

And though the light blinded me,

I proved you wrong,

Look upon me one last time,

‘Fore you leave, before you go,

And take with you these words of mine,

I loved you so.

Don’t try to hide it, don’t shy away,

I cannot describe it; I want to stay,

But I must be going; I must be gone,

You have to understand that what we had was wrong.

Look upon me one last time,

‘Fore you leave, before you go,

And take with you these words of mine,

I loved you so.
