Stars Are Tears
Some things were meant to last forever
But good things don't last for long
Just when you think the show is over
The chorus sings another song
Treasures lost into the ocean
Are found in dessert land
And things you can't let go of
Seem to slip right out your hand
Words never said, should have been
The moment's forever lost
A life time of unhappiness
Is a simple mistakes cost
Eyes can tell a story
But the heart can preach a tune
It's melody so sorrowful
It soars up to the moon
The moon knows many burdens
Each tear becomes a star
People wish upon misfortune
But never gets them very far

That was a beautiful poem... I, too, can relate to this poem.
I was first captured by the title of this piece, and only intended to skim through, but this poem has a delicate flow to it, and it held my attention. The last stanza wraps up the poem very smoothly. Very good, keep it up!
