How many women

have been assaulted by men

time after time after time again?

Myself, I have been one

Many or most I know

have a story or 10

times a thousand fold

We do stay silent

hold it all in

We don't say a word

as we think we've sinned

What did we do

except have boobs?

We didn't ask

as they whistled tunes

It's not that we werent

flattered by a flirt

but it wasn't okay

when a hand slipped up the skirt

Raw Life

A friend was raped violently and is not the same, will never be who she was ever. A man is imprisoned, a woman is imprisoned too. Good write (Dr. Ford got a week - and the women are in to corridors protesting - YES!)- slc

No editing required.  This is well stated as is.  But hopefully the days of silence will be over and we can make the world a better place.

thank you

Some of us have a lot of trauma from the many incident.

I don't want to get into the most gruesome here.

Even I am reluctant to touch any of it.

People like to say things like, "let it go", "get over it", "you NEED to let all that go", "stop looking for pity", "stop being such a victim", etc., etc...

Often, I say, "it's not the worst thing that ever happened to me."

Trained by society to brush it all off like it's nothing.

Buried.
