First Love
When I first saw you it was heavenly
A love I wanted so badly for so long
Was dormate
And with your first glance at me
It was active immediately
Telling our stories
And sharing our lives.
Could I ever ask for more?
You stared into my eyes
As if examing my soul
And you kissed me.
Right then I knew
I loved you
It was almost more than I could bare.
How could I ever love someone like this?
To this day I wonder
But I have you
And although many possibilities
I believe this love is because of you.

beyond these words there seems to be
A sad sort of knowledge of it's end
I don't know if you ment to send
these hints, thought they help me peer
I think even now I can see your fear
of love and all the power that it has
over you and I try to understand
though I think I know but can't comand
my thoughts to words for the sake
of telling you your heart won't break.
This is a lovely poem that you have writen my dearest Caitlin. Like I said before I think they help me understand you a little better, though I would hope that by now I understand you well. Don't ever stop dreaming, and don't settle till your dreams come true, because you deserve all of them.
