Dual Moon

Our memory was perennial

though we're far apart.

Living through them once

brought great happiness.

Yet today it's haunting to see

the things that remind me of you

and the signs that allude to you

in a twisted reality of the Moon.

I don't see you anymore after so long

yet you still follow me

like hidden, painful paper cuts

that never heal.

What can I do?

I miss you so...

This is a really nice and very sad poem all at once at the same time. It is definitely haunting to see things that remind you about that one certain person that you'll always remember in your mind, and that you'd also miss them too. It's a really nice piece you've got there, and it is definitely beautifully written.
