Going Retro with Super Mario

Folder:
Hip Hop / Rap

[warning, this is the first ever rap / hip hop piece I attempted, it sucks I know but hey, at least I tried, right?  Right?]

Yo boy take that controller.

Go play little Mario the Italian plumber.

Jump dat friggin' goomba's head.

Ya don't, with no mushroom, you'll be doomed

'cause little Mario could end up dead

No hero will save the day.

Nintendo time from six to nine

bouncin' around like ya just don't care.

Goin' retro with Super Mario.

Hearing that retro intro makes me sing

"Buh duh dum dee dum-dum...dum." (1)

High jumps.  Turtle shells kick 'em around

Flower power.  Once hundred coins, what-up? (2)

Invincible stars.  Pick up power-ups.

Make those baddies crazy.  Let 'em pay.

Wit' your boy Mario to save the day.

And when you reach Koopa

(Oh yeah)

Kick his ass, boy

(That's right)

Kick it hard

(Uh-huh)

Whup it with flames it's all in the game.

Stomp him down to the ground.

Wit' your boy Mario to save the day.

Author's Notes/Comments:

Reminds me of my kiddie years with that timeless video game.  LOL.  Too bad I don't play much video games anymore.  (^o^)  By the way (1) the "bud duh dum dee dum-dum...dum" is the old Super Mario Brothers tune in the beginning of the game and (2) 'what-up' was originally supposed to be 'one-up,' get it?  An extra life?  Eh... sucky, I know.  (^_^)

I was too old by time Mario came out so I never got into it. But I found this funny nevertheless.

I had to laugh reading this because nintendo was the first system I bought my own kids. I remember I won a daily lottery ticket for 500.00 so we went to NH because they have no sales tax and the system was on sale for $149.00 and bought extra games of course.
