Wishing Stars Can Fade Away

Whatever happened to my wishing stars

that would twinkle across the sky?

Where does the distant moonlight shine

when clouded bygones have gone by?

Ripples of memories and dancing raindrops

shower the cool frosty night air.

Delicate beats of water trickle the ground

with complete sweet and harmonic care.

Outside in the spinkling rain I stand

with a silent peace of mind.

I remember all that has happened to me

and the people of who I once'd pine.

Empty is the dark vast sky

of the stars that I longed to seek.

Bitter sweet smiles cover my face

of all that is left of me...

'Ripples of memories and dancing raindrops
shower the cool frosty night air.'

'Bitter sweet smiles cover my face
of all that is left of me...'
