Unholy Love

Folder:
ROXY'S POEMS

Something is wrong she says in her mind

To hold on to love

As if it was a crime.

No one can know what we have done

For if they do

Our life’s will be done.

Her tears fall still and steady

Her heart skips beats burning and ready

She thinks …

For if they know

If they see

Then it shell be the end of me

It can not end

I can not go

To end my life

Loving you so.

Holding the rope

Holding her pain

Letting the tears drop to the woods grain.

And with one steep she teeters off

Ending her life for her unholy flaw

Author's Notes/Comments:

so this poem takes place back in the
1800's .. a time when if someone found out that you
had love for a woman and you yourself being woman
you could be killed. you and your lover..

so the woman in this poem loved and cared for her lover
so very much that she took her own
life rather than face the death of her lover...
