The Lion

As I walked through the woods one day,

A mountain lion pounced my way.

For me it's lunch, he said.

For you, it's the end of your days.

Why you low life waste of fur, said I.

If I I were a black hole , I would spit you out.

If I were vomit , in disgust, I would slide away.

If I were poop, I'd turn from a rich cow brown,

To a nasty shade of grey, just to keep you away.

Puzzled, the mountain lion said,

Well then, ha ! I'm going to stay.

Go ahead, said I.

Turned, and walked away.
