Lying beyond the final gateway,

There surely you can't stay;

Multitude of possible worlds,

Caves and labyrinths beyond doors

Inhabited by nameless devourers.

Anomaly of worlds

The darkness starts to consume my world;

I start to experience the cold breeze chilling me to the bone.
I look up into the darkness of the night.

I find myself trying to recall the last time I've seen the stars so clearly.
The stars continue to shine as I turn away only to admire the reflection coming off the lake.
Subconsciously thinking, maybe that is all we are.
A shining star in the depths of space.
Could there be something looking up, admiring us from beyond?
Space is an endless depth of possibility and imagination.
We as humans were once a people of the earth, taking only what we needed to survive.
Now that time has come and gone.

I could not comprehend what would happen if we could reach the stars.
We are no longer people of the land, people of the earth.

Now we seem to be nothing more than an anomaly on this world.
At one point in time we respected and showed gratitude to our lands and oceans.
We understood then that it was the key in the cycle of life, we once knew the world by Fire, Earth, Wind, Water and stone, the five elements.
Now I fear we may of broken the cycle, lost the respect and forgotten the true meaning.
What well become of us now? What shall the Gods do to fix the anomaly of a world?
