I feel that too many people rush through their lives.  Their goal is simply to get through the current day.

I wrote this in 1981. I was 16 at the time.

This poem is about Mary annointing Jesus' feet with oil the week before Jesus was crusified.

written for my dear, dear supportive friend Tommy from Gastonia, NC. Once upon an ancient time he was my biggest poetry fan and supporter. I will never forget his great kindness to me.
