I applaud the way that you: I applaud the way that you achieve---in a relatively small number of lines---a verbal atmostphere of foreboding and fear. This is the essence of the finest horror stories, even of Rod Serling's "Twilight Zone" series (one of the highest compliments I can offer), and you have accomplished it here as if you had invented the concept. I am so glad to have seen this poem posted, and to read it and compliment it; and, of course, I really like your screen name as well.
This is a wonderful tribute: This is a wonderful tribute which resonates very closely to my heart at this time, as we very nearly lost our chihuahua, Zoey. She is about fourteen years old, and she is slowing down rapidly. However, my daughter, an RN, suggested several things we could do to try to help her, and it appears that our prayers have been answered and her passing has been (however temporarily) postponed. We know it will happen someday soon; but today is not that day, for which I thank and praise the Lord.

I am still trying to catch up from several weeks being hospitalized due to massive dehydration.
Today, I had one of those "mystic moments" while listening to the hymn, "The Church's One Foundation" on YouTube. It was like looking at a puzzle being assembled, I saw what I must do or change, and what I must omit. I am still a little shaken up, but also very grateful that God reached across the Cosmos to personalize this day for me.
This song of praise erupts: This song of praise erupts with the purest Light and the pinnacle of devotion. Reading it lifted the curtain between my chaotic day and what truly matters. Powerfully scribed as only a humble servant of the Most High can do. What luminous refreshment this is!
So sorry I haven't been able to be around much to give your work the attention and accolades it deserves. I'm delighted to see that you're still expanding on your vital contribution to real Poetry and to everyone blessed enough to be guided here.

During my junion and senior: During my junion and senior years in high school, decades ago, the Original Series was broadcasts on weeknights by an indepenent and unaffiliated television station in Cincinnati. Despite static interference and a poor picture, I tried to watch every episode.
Perhaps your notes should acknowledge Ruddenberry as the creater of the series of which you have written so eloquently.
