when life was bright and gay

we laughed and thought of things to come

on bright and sunny days

Remember love, when skies were blue

and birds sang in the trees

when love was strong and dreams came true

and all things seemed to please

Remember love, the day we met

oh happy was the time

for when I looked into your eyes

I knew that you were mine

Remember love, our wedding day

scent of blossoms in the air

Happy was the day that we were joined

for there was no worry or no care

Oh love, where did the time all go

those lovely days gone by

when beauty was our special friend

and there was no need to cry
