Steel Butterfly

Behold..

It's beauty...

It's impenetrable..

It's wings razor sharp.

You dare not touch it,

or it might bleed you.

Permit it to glide around.

Marvel and ponder upon its sensuality,

Until it decides to land upon thee.

A steel butterfly it is.

It's impenetrable

to its opposite.

Hardened through the course of time

from within the confines of this concrete jungle.

Patience!... patience

It can see through your soul

with its keen glance.

You should not turn to stone.

But you can't resist,

The beauty of this steel butterfly gliding in your midst.
