I watched blood in the mobile tonight, it is a documentry on the conflict minerals being mined in the Democratic republic of Congo (DRC). There is a scene in which a man who works for the UN is being interviewed unoffically (as just a person not a UN rep) and he describes how he met a woman who had been raped three times. The first time was in her village and the men cut her husband up piece by piece in front of her, than told her to assemble him, laid her down on him, and raped her on his body. They then asked if she had ever had chewing gum, and placed the tip of her husband's penis in her mouth and told her to chew...

Aweful Story
Horrible stories are the inhumane part of being human - stories of rape and having babies cut out or female genital removed to assure ethnic cleansing (tribal erasure) abound. War and power lead to all kinds of atrocities when there is no law. Ignorant insanity is the worst variety of mental dysfunction. Imagine the dreams, the nightmares, the bad dreams while awake - sad. ~~A~~
