You can't corner me with no marriage vows

You think you'll find a way but there is no way no how

You can't keep me by your side

Cuz nobody's takin me for a ride

We may be together for the time being

But not forever...there's no underlying meaning



I don't believe in

Lifetime commitment

I don't believe in

marriage vows

I don't believe in

doin anything forever

Tomorrow's a new day

And my mind tends to change



I like my freedom, you know it's true

I don't have anything against you

I like you a lot...I really do

That's why I don't want anything to start

Between me and you

That I know I'm not willing to finish

Ok, another old one that rings true in my current situation...shoulda coulda woulda...shouldn't have married ever...now feel stuck...shoulda listened to myself or read my poetry and remembered why I wrote that...too late?

dont make commitments you cant keep be it marriage or anything else ,be your genuine self and if someone else doesnt like it to hell with them,in the longrun you only answer to yourself anyway
