ABANDONMENT, YET AGAIN

Folder:
JOURNAL #35

abandonment

yet again

Just when things began

to get interesting

and beautiful

you exit right

hardly apologetic

at all

just gone

such habits

have become almost

common place for you

I won't even pretend

to be surprised

sadly

it is what it is

I can not construct any

odd lovely attribute

to this to explain such action away

I must stand and take my hits

in your life

I qualify as the least important

I am a gross over estimate

of whom I thought I once was

to you

and in that revealing starkness

of fact

I can walk away

unimpressed
