SOME UNOFFENDED SENSE

JOURNAL#26

while talk

can be pretty

poetry thrives

intrinsic beauty born

to the inner grace of words

unrealized

gifts

for the welcoming page

and attracted eye

life

is

but vital art

moving upon the earth

every breath taken

a painted stroke of GOD

pilgrims

to his GOOD EARTH'S country

PEARL S. BUCK likely

an early secretary

to such idea

wild bees buzzing

for some wanted memory

of the precious honeycomb

abandoned

momentarily but oh so willingly

for less secured fields

of necessary exploration

away from what's familiar

the honey sought

is slowly recovered

drop by miniscule drop

until only just now

does it manage to make

SOME UNOFFENDED SENSE

every flower visited

tells a story

its beauty and silence

serenade the hungriest of eyes

and we too are giving

even as we are taking

some indescribable something away

which can only further what we know

for the existence of stillness itself

is a most profound scholar

over man's far too ignorant choices

made

yes

our environment truly does shape us

yet we must also stand to own

that we too shape our environment's

path

and balance of such fact here

is what needs to reign

lengthwise

life wise

and uncompromised any further.....
