they wanted us to be together

they planned it from the start

we knew friends we'd always be

and they couldn't tare us apart

happy you always made me

adventures many we shared

hurt and down I've been before

and it was you who always cared

naive and young we were at the time

but we were there together

we'd grow into mature adults

and would end up at forever

but hardships got us separated

for limited of time

it took a while to get you back

always i knew you were mine

to rediscover who you are

made me stop and think it through

why i was here lonely with many

but i wasn't there with you

i snapped out of my daze and realized

that always you were right

my pride was mine and no one elses

and for it so i would fight

as always happily ever after

and together that we are

think about it who we might be

a stranger, a someone, a star
