i was born onto a land that you would never see

a place that wasn't meant for beauty like you

I've watched you grow to what you live as

and all the time you never knew

you rein in a kingdom of love and treasure

for everything will be left to you

I'm imbalanced but you can complete the measure

but the chance away you threw

i could sing upon your window sill

for maybe just a glance

i could pour my heart up to your hearing until

you start to dance

to catch your eye it was my dream

and took so long to touch

your sweetness showed even if you were mean

there was no need to rush

now your eyes they notice me

i feel so warm in your glow

your gems they shimmer upon my rags

but the world will never know

through destruction and pain heartache endured

your wealth on risk to all

you thought it worth it simple nothing

together we stood tall

rich worthy charm may not be something that I hold

ill be your royal loveliness

while together we grow old

now the gems sparkle from your clothes to eyes

and rags turn cloth of expense

will we make through tough times and lies?
