For Luke

Life. It comes and goes.

Most people never notice those they should.

And when it’s gone, it’s really gone.

It feels so unreal, how we live now,

Without them, isn’t how we would have if they were still with us.

And sadly, they will never come back again.

Never will we hear their laughter or the see that wonderful smile.

Never will they float by, as they had walked this path many times.

They float as if they were never truly human,

Just a guiding spirit to help those in need.

Yet, then you may walk that same path after they had once upon a time.

And, as you walk, you may feel yourself begin to float

As you are overwhelmed with their spirit and their life.

And, may you forever remember what it was they had taught you,

And what it was that made them so different from us.

I love this poem
It is so true, and so sad.

Losing someone so close to you is an awful experience

WELL DONE! x
