Into the substance of divine essence

I gently flow like a sacred river

Humbly dividing heaven and earth

With the thin drapery of blue sky

I reverently bow as shakti pulsates

Sending a rippling current throughout creation

Brahma the creator, the magnificent source

Vishnu the preserver, permeating existence

Shiva the destroyer, the interpreter of death

And now the night sighs in transience

Your grace manifest in the pervading sun

In the dreams of a child prince deep in India

A thousand yugas pass like grains of sand

Revealing dharma in the cascading clouds

Ganesha, for enlightenment

Lakshmi, for good fortune

Sarasvati, for purity and wisdom

And now I ride Airavata drunk on soma

Splintering fortress walls gorged on amrita

Divine bliss sought in a moment of splendor

Fragments ascending the joyous spiral of leela
