INNOCENCE

Innocent watery eyes of a baby

The black disks floating in clear pools

They reflect the gruesome world

The baby sees the cowdung blobs

on the winding rural muddy streets

Mother is busy with picking up garbage

He puts his tiny chubby hand

Into the "evil smelling" dung

He doesn't care if it's smelly or gooey

Or if it may harm his health

His Innocence, his wealth
