Lazily listening to the
songs of the distant stars
Jolted to mundane reality
The booms of human wars
Friends wasn't it long ago
Stretched on a bamboo mat
Cool summer breeze kissing
My sweaty shrivelled cheeks
When we last quarrelled
Rains didn't come by
For almost two weeks
Come wars come fights
You can't put out
Stars' melodious lights

Very nice motif - backdropped with war and an argument - cheeks kissed is also quite inventive - wrapping itself around my sensitivities nicely - you rock! ~Lady A~
