Blood in my eyes

All i see blood in my eyes

Slack in my faith,

Baby, I know it,

Your love is a wraith of dust

Blood in my eyes,

Slack in my faith,

Baby, You know it,

I commemorate

All who follow

The dream evermore.

Live the dream.

That's what it's for.

Blood in my eyes,

Slack in my faith.

You say it, then you don't,

But, you want me to stay..

Blood in my eyes let walk

Through the shadow of hell

If you really love me..

2016 April PAD Challenge: Day 23

By: Robert Lee Brewer | April 23, 2016

For today’s prompt, write a footwear poem. A poem about shoes, flip flops, socks, slippers, flippers, boots, pumps, and so on. If you’d prefer not to dedicate a poem to your footwear, just mention footwear somewhere in the poem. That’s right; your hi-tops don’t have to be the star, and it’s totally cool if somebody’s clogs play a minor role in the poem.

Captain Jack

Captain Jack knows where it's at

gets things done matter of fact

always something up his sleeve

be careful what you believe

he does what needs to be done

and seems to have lots of fun

I wanna be on your crew

tell me what I need to do
