This crap that goes on in Manila movie theaters can really piss me off. Then one day the bubble burst and we got into a confrontation with two ladies who would not stop talking. So I went home and made this poem as my outlet for my movie frustrations that have been piling up over the years.

Oh it's so nice to get your gripes published and make an impact, although if only just a dent or scratch on society for just a week. I made this during my rant phase, when a published poet (of the Blairbitch poetry books series)asked if I could make a male book of Bitchy poems. But she said I wasn't bitchy enough.

Christmas Time in Manila - published

This was made for my parents to read in a Christmas party in 2002. They alternated lines and it went well. So the next year I changed the final line from "Merry Christmas 2002" to"Merry Christmas to all of you!" and when it was the "ber" months in 2003 I took a chance and tried to get it published in What's On & Expat and they did.

The sole purpose of writing this poem was to get published again. I figured What's On & Expat would publish it because it enlightens foreigners how Christmas is celebrated here. It's written in a kids point of view.
