This was a really deep poem for me to write.
I thought that I was by now completely over this
person, but when I saw that person a few days ago
leaving school; I automatically knew that there
is something still there between us. This person is
my first true love, and I can never forget them.

This poem was written 11-18-03 for my most recent ex-boyfriend.

This is supposed to be an example of a Shakespearean Sonnet for English. But, as always, it turned out to be a personal sketch of my situation. Sometimes, I miss my significant other and the autumn season, in some ways, signifies how I'm still coping with the pains of breaking up.
