It would be really nice if everyone could try to open up and at least attempt to understand something they don't know,or just aren't used to.Then,maybe we could all discover that we're not really so different after all.

This was written after Jerry Garcia died. I am not and never have been a Greatful Dead fan, but all those "Dead-heads" just looked so sad and lost. Their entire world had been destroyed, and I had to write about it.

This poem is actually about two of the things I hate the most; (and always seem to have too little or too much of in my life) money, and jealousy. Too often both "Little Green Monster"'s seem to consume major areas of my life, and mess everything up in the process!

Everybody needs someone who cares and understands,especially when life-and the world-can sometimes be cruel.

This was the first real poem I ever wrote,my Junior year,and it's about defense mechanisms people use for protection.

This poem expresses how hard it is to be "different",which is something I've had to experience most of my life.
