Written for a friend I had a long time ago, who I loved so fiercely I am almost ashamed to admit it. It took me quite some time to realize she was a drug addict... a truth which broke me inside. I wrote this for her, after the dust had settled.

Sometimes you look back and you wish you could change everything. You wish you could write letters to everyone who ever knew you and say, "You know what? I am so sorry!" But, unfortunatly, life doesn't work like that. What is even more frustrating is the fact the you can't go back and punch anyone back then, either. So, this poem is a reflection of these types of thoughts. Letters, punches, regrets....
