A Fading Light

I am ecstatic when I met you

I thought; I hope and dream to be with you

Thus life and fate had mixed what is true

As I forgot and end it through

I've tried and change for you my love

But then you say that I have not

No worth for pearl to set a fire

It turned to ash and flew above

I hope to see you one day soon

Though I am not that fate you're with

I will smile in front you'll see

As deep inside I've died it hurt

A heart to ache that pain won't miss

Soon sun will stole a light to see

For dark clouds cease as time goes by

And fields will bloom as spring would come

A fading light:

The heartache and pain at rejection is poignant in your poem. I hope with spring anew, your heart will be rejuvenated by an admirer worth your love. I liked your poem it's a good read.
