you kept shoving the needles through

drop by drop, draining my heart

and still, i just can't blame you

you were bound to from the start



but i'm not just going to stand here

and watch everything fall

im not going to let it all be thrown away

i'm saving it all before it goes away



just don't say that this didn't mean anything

because i know sometimes you were thinking it too



i can never ever forget you, even if i tried

i'll always care for you more than anything

you've done so much for me, and i for you

and we can't ever let that slip away



no matter what becomes

i'll always have faith in you

i just need to try to move on
